Customs cost [#here]
There are a few different ways that customs become available.
- Speed slot customs.
Colorist choice (CC) customs.
Raffle customs.
General Custom Rules
- Unless otherwise noted, customs are adult-only.
You may choose either clan or rogue lines as default for your custom.
If you desire special lines for your custom without earning them through RP, you must note this in your custom form so that the colorist can roll. Please choose one or the other, not both. (Raindancer or Rogue). Remember, these are very rare ranks and they are not guaranteed.
If you desire to be rolled for a sensory mutation (can smell/see/hear/taste/feel things that a normal hyena couldn't), you must make note of this in your form. The colorist will roll to see if the hyena does have the sensory mutation, and if so, the colorist will then roll again to decide the strength of the mutation. You can decide which sensory mutation your hyena has.

Five attempts at a custom will qualify that custom for LL. Please keep track of your attempts! We will ask for proof!
If you fail to win in one custom attempt, you are welcome to try for any other custom opportunities that might occur throughout the month.
Speed Slot Customs
- These slots are first come, first serve.
Follow the general custom rules as listed above.
Once you have secured your slot, you must start a trade to the colorist.
Be patient. Sometimes life happens.
The trade will not be completed until your custom is safely in your inbox.
You may obtain only one custom through these slots.
You may use failed Speed Slot attempts as LL.
CC Customs
- You may enter as many customs as you can pay for.
Follow the general custom rules listed above.
Once you have secured your slot, you must start a trade with the colorist.
Be patient. Sometimes life happens.
The trade will not be completed until your custom is safely in your inbox.
If the colorist does not choose your custom, such is life. That is the chance you take. However, you can use this attempt as a LL entry.
Please make a note if this entry is LL.
Colorists are not obligated to choose any custom if they do not find one they want to color.
Raffle-style Customs
- Follow the general custom rules as listed above.
You will be given between 3 & 5 tickets to enter in the raffle.
You can enter all of your tickets at once or spread them out, whichever you please.
If you win a custom via Raffle, you are responsible for paying the full custom price.
Once your ticket has been picked, you have 24hrs to send the trade to the colorist.
Be patient. Sometimes life happens.
The trade will not be completed until your custom is safely in your inbox.
You may only win once through Raffle customs.
You may use failed Raffle attempts as LL.
