Take every last thing you knew about the world and throw it out the window, because guess what! You're a Mage! Just a few things you need to know. For one, there's three different classifications of Mages, and that's just scratching the surface. First come the Tetramancers, or Mancers for short. A Tetramancer is an Elemental Mage, or, in simpler terms, a Mage that uses Elemental Magic in combat. Next come the Support Mages, nicknamed Boosters. Boosters have no attack magic of their own and instead support other Mages in combat. Most Boosters are skilled with weapons. Finally are the Mediums, or Mages who call on spirits to help them. They're considered the strongest Mage Type, but they're also the rarest.
Now that that's down, you should know about the Council. The Mages' Council regulates the usage of all magic in the world and also has a list of all Mages. All Mages have to register with the Council, or they are considered rogue. Mages whose powers have only recently awakened are known as "Freshies" due to the fact that they're basically "Fresh meat for the beasts" if they don't get found.
On the subject of Beasts, I think you should know what they are, don't you? Beasts are actually common animals mutated by magic. They're actually quite common, but every once in a while one will mutate into something bigger and nastier. When this happens, Council-appointed "Hunters" are dispatched to take them down and rehabilitate them once the magic is drained from their bodies.

Before I get to the skeletons, here are some rules to follow.
1. PG-16 Maximum. NO EXCEPTIONS.
2. Please, please, please try to be at least semi-literate! If you don't your profile will not be accepted. Occasional spelling mistakes are fine, seeing as they happen to everyone.
3. No god-modding. If you're unsure of what god-modding is, ask a Veteran RPer.
4. Control the romance. This is an adventure story, not a romance!
5. Always use the skeletons. And make sure you use the right one, too!
6. Please have at least a paragraph for the history.
7. PM the profiles entitled "WoM Character".

Elemental Affiliations: Xander has experience enough that he utilizes each element skillfully, though not without playing favorites.
Appearance: An old man with gray hair mixed with black streaks of what used to be his color. His hair is slicked back and goes down to about the middle of his neck. Despite his age, Xander's skin is only slightly loose on his old bones and is fair toned. For clothes, he's got a dark blue--nearly black--cattle coat above his Mage Council uniform.
Personality: Xander is calm and collected, a result of his years. He's extremely willing to help out any Freshie when it comes to the registration process. He rarely fights, although when he does, he's powerful enough not to be taken lightly. Xander is a powerfully efficient combatant, using his expertise in Circle Drawing (The method of casting Tetramancy spells) to cast multiple spells at once.

Other: Xander is nearing retirement and he's looking for a successor in Anthony Orikama.

Everything else is done, so it's time for the story. Still with me? Good. Basically, Magic is on a rise, causing more Freshies to surface and become registered Mages. Unfortunately, that same incident is also causing more Beasts to form and more Rogues to come out of hiding. As a result, the Council is divided on what to do. And Hunter Anthony Orikama is in the middle of it all!
Poor Anthony just wants to get his job done, but the Council leader, Xander Leoben Ardeus, has his eyes set on Anthony as the next Council head. Thankfully, Anthony's best friend since childhood and Council confidante Maria Dejere has his back. She's a supporter of Anthony becoming leader of the Council, but not right away. As a result, she has Anthony training her daughter Lily, although Anthony prefers to call it "babysitting". When it comes down to it, nobody knows how this whole mess'll work out, but here's hoping it works out for the better.
