A long time ago, in a land far far away, there lived two races in a land called Eigora. One was human, and the other neko. They fought each other in constant battles. The neko thought of themselves better than the humans, and the humans thought of the nekos as inferior.
In one of the battles between them, almost the whole population of both the civilizations joined in the fight. This was the battle to end all battles. But there were two righteous groups, one human, and the other neko. They joined together and prayed to the angels.
The angels heard there prayers and looked down upon them, they saw their distress and separated the two raced with a large river. Then they forbid them to ever cross it, and went back to heaven.
Along with the river, the angels coming down affected the world. The neko could then use magic, and the humans could use alchemy. Immediately they started building themselves up and built up to a modern world.
Now, in the present time... both the humans and the nekos are seeking to connect their sides of the land so that they can conquer each other.
