I heard Supernatural is going to get pretty serious in the last few episodes, which is sad. I love their funny moments even more than the drama sometimes. Are there any fun episode coming up to break up the sad? — Diandra
I don’t think there are whole episode of funny (See: “The French Mistake”) but there is certainly some funny on the way. The next episode back, for instance, shows us the world that would exist if the Titanic never sank. (Balthazar decides he doesn’t like the end of the movie and decides to save the ship.) “It’s kind of about the butterfly effect of that,” she said. Other exciting moments coming up: Dean’s showdown at high noon. Sam on horseback. A saloon girl hitting on Dean.

1. WHAT. Is he making a joke or.... wtf? I know the episode is titled "My heart will go one" but.... really? I mean... really? WTF does that have to do with SPN? I know it'll affect the world but..... still.... wtf? O_o I hope that was a joke sweatdrop

2. WHAT ABOUT DEAN ON HORSEBACK?? *pouts* I WANT THEM TO RIDE OF TOGETHER IN THE SUNSET ON HORSEBACK, IS THAT TOO MUCH TO ASK? At least show us Dean failing at it or something, pweease? *puppy eyes UKN*

The episode back where the Titanic never sank is the one with Mary and Ellen returning. And something to do with the Mother of All. So it won't be what you're fearing, i'm sure. 3nodding

No, that's from episode 19 ""Mommy Dearest". Episode 18 is "Frontierland". He's talking about the episode we return on "My Heart Will go On" (episode 17). This is why I'm worried O_o;

Hrmm.. Bobby had said something at Paley fest about it being the same ep.. And he said a few switched air dates. I'll have to re-watch that interview.

You mean Jim Beaver?
I think the episodes got switched, yeah, but according to everywhere I can look, that's the order as of now. And I'm 99% sure that Ellen, Mary and Eve are in the Mommy dearest episode. Frontierland is what it is, and that just leaves this ep, for which we have no real synopsis (other than Balty appearing in the teaser promo, which also points to him in the episode since we know he's not in episode 18 or 19).

Went searching around for answers and stumbled on this in a forum for the "Mommy Dearest" episode:
Mary comes back and finds wire hangers in Sam and Dean's closets and proceeds to beat them with it?

rofl rofl rofl rofl rofl

*cough*
Anyway, figured out what they meant by the switch. The Frontierland episode was supposed to air when we returned, but it was switched for 18 for some reason. that was the confusion, but it doesn't change the meaning of anything, because that question was asked at PaleyFest anyway, so the spoiler is relevant to the change.
See?

Oh dug up this:

episode 18 of the show’s current season will be titled “My Heart Will Go On” with a character “Atropos.” In Greek mythology, Atropos was one of the three fates and the one who decided who died through the act of cutting the thread that symbolized their life. Recently Katie Walder revealed she was going to be guest starring on Supernatural. There are rumors that she would be playing “Fate,” so it seems likely that she could be guest starring in this episode.

OK that seems to make a lot more sense. Though now I kinda miss the titanic thing rofl That would have been dumb, but I still woulda watched it for the LOLZ.

I'm so confused!

Is the titanic thing happening or not? User Image

ALSO: ROFL @Mary comes back and finds wire hangers in Sam and Dean's closets and proceeds to beat them with it.
rofl rofl Psycho Mary !

And I thought there had been a switch because I had been under the impression that the Western eppy was going to premiere after hellatus but then I saw somewhere else that it wasnt .So I'm glad that's cleared up.

Guys i really don't know WHAT is going on. I'm totally confused. I mean the description I found involving fate could actually tie in with the Titanic thing, but...... I'm still hoping the titanic thing won't happen. It would be funny as hell to watch, but it would result in total jump-the-shark, and... i can't handle that.

ahh okay then.

Yea I have to agree with you, I mean they'd done some pretty unpredictable things so far and they turned out great, but this sounds like going a bit over board ( umm no pun intended whee .) Cuz what does the Titanic have to do with anything? confused

I think the idea is probably to show how changing events of the past can affect the future. So changing the way that events of the Titanic would probably effect a lot of people. In likelihood it would mean that people who were never born as a result would suddenly exist where they hadn't before and that would change things in the world too.

I think about these sorts of things more than I probably should.

Hmm well guess it is real.
But now it makes more sense how it all ties into the show with Fate and all.

Haha the boys are always tempting Fate and cheating Death. It's like their thing. lol

Fate will also be a reoccurring character. And yeah, Death said that they were a major problem in the natural order of things.. So Fate will be gunning to kill them for good, I guess.

What happens if they kill Fate, though? There has to be a natural order, doesn't there?
