 What is it like to fight for something you have to feel? To six people it's hell. Each of them was condemed with the feeling of love in their souls. And for each of them a soul mate was created. These beings are their protectors, and their soul mates. Some linger in the background, staying hidden from their perfect other half, and some make themselves noticeable. But they all have the same objective. Protect them with their lives. These Gladiators cannot die unless their partner dies or unless they are struck with an ancient dagger that is used by those who wish to seperate the two beings.They are called the Exterminators. Gladiators are always looking for them, since they wish to exterminate their human. If the human learns of this it seems to look like they are protecting them for their own life, but really they do it for love. The feeling of love is burned into their souls and it seems to control them...

Rules
- Follow Gaia TOS and guild rules.
- Romance is GREATLY encouraged, but if it gets serious use TIMESKIPS ONLY!
- Violence is encouraged, but not really reccomended to human characters.
- Cussing is allowed but make your point clear!
- Use "" for speech, '' or italics for thought and (()), [[]], or {{}} for OOC. DO NOT USE ** or -- for actions!
- Be semi-lit please. Have at least four sentences per post.
- Post frequently! Post at least three times each week.
- No godmodding. Giving a hug, giving a kiss to the cheek, or a slap to the face etc. are acceptable action. Forcing the other character to kiss back or knock out are not.
- Don't take every hit, don't hit every character every time and don't dodge every hit. Although the Gladiators are skilled fighters they can't do everything!
- Be polite to other roleplayers!
- PM the profiles titled "Fighting for You".
- Include a ninja in your PM to show you read the rules.
- I have the right to edit the rules.

Guidelines
- Gladiators can be killed by only temporarily. [Ex: Say Bob was shot. He dies for around five minutes and is alive again. It was like he woke up from a deep sleep with the exception of feeling the pain of wounds.]
- Humans are pretty much helpless against the threat.
- Two things can kill Gladiators for good. An ancient dagger used by the Exterminators (threat) or if their human dies.
- Not all humans realize who their Gladiator is or what the Exterminators are after.
- Exterminators are dark beings with dark powers that range from telepathy to force fields. There is a limited, but wide variety.
- Gladiators are very easy to pick out from a crowd. They usally have some sort or physical attribute that determines them from humans. [Ex: Tribal tattoos, colored hair, 6-7ft height (usually males), scars, etc.]
- Humans cannot be touched inside their homes by the Exterminators.
- Gladiators will gather together once every week to create plans against the Exterminators and report any suspicious activity!
- Some love triangles form between fellow Gladiators and humans! [Ex: Lilly the Gladiator has a human named Rick who is in love with another human named Chelsea. Ex2: Bob the Gladiator falls in love with the Gladiator Teresa along with his human girl Yumi.]

Her father was always ranting on about how life isn't always love and games. She had taken to it. He had pretty much forced her into his ways. She thought that it was a waste of time to always be thinking about one person all the time. Then she was condemned witht the feeling of love. All she can ever think about is him. She'll die to protect him, which has happened a few times already. She's got scars all over her to proove it. She lived on the streets, begging, and learning her way into thievery. She doesn't know of her Gladiator, yet, nor does she have any knowledge of the Exterminators. In order to keep his family safe he left home after this 'love feeling' was condemed onto him. It simply wasn't safe with the Exterminators around. He found his human quickly and desires very much to protect her. His natural protectiveness takes in very quickly and he's always there to watch her, even if he leaves quickly after that. Scarlett's violet eyes narrowed. She stood atop a small building, looking down at the passers-by. Nothing was happening tonight. Nothing big anyways. The other Gladiators were most likely out and about, watching over their humans. Scarlett, on the other hand, had taken the chance to leave her human for a short period of time to hunt down Exterminators. Their prescences were difficult to figure out, but their feelings gave off the only aura. Cold, hateful, and determined, they'd stop at nothing. Rosella, Scarlett's katana, jangled quietly, a small silver bell at the end of its hilt jingling. It was how she was so easily recognized. When someone heard this bell, she was around. But when the people below looked up to investigate this sound, she was gone.
Xavier's eyes were closed and his legs propped up. He was laying on a slanted roof, watching the setting sun. It was getting dark. Scarlett's bell could be heard a distance away and he had the idea she was roof leaping again, jumping from roof top to roof top until she reached her human's house. He gave a quiet sigh. He opened his eyes slowly and stared up, breathing deeply. It had been quiet lately, though he knew something would happen eventually. He rested his hands behind his head, closing his eyes once more. It'd be normal if another Gladiator came and shook him awake. His laid back personality often got his fellow Gladiators annoyed.

Kira Forest was sitting on top of a very tall tree in a park in town. He came to the town just to see whats happening and because he knew his human had to go to school every weekday. He just liked nature and it relaxed him... He sighed and leaned against the thick trunk and looked around at the people who walked about. He was thinking about going to her school and hiding till she got out... He smiled lightly and got up, steadying himself with the base of the tree. "Time for a school trip."
Donavon Night calmly walked down the streets of the town, hiding his mischievous grin. So many people around him, so many people who he can easily take care off to destroy the feeling of love. He laughed inside and kept walking, his hands inside his pocket. He was assigned a human already and he was wandering the streets to get accustomed to the new town. Donavon had to get the town memorized for then he can battle easily. All he had to do right now is find the humans scent... where could the human's Gladiator be?

Praveena walked out of her 7th period class, Chemistry. She walked to her locker and put her Chemistry textbook away and took out her Spanish book. She then shut her locker and walked to her Spanish classroom. She sat down in her usual seat next to her friends, and looked at the front of the classroom as the teacher walked in. She then began to take notes as the teacher lectured.

Kira jumped down from the tree, careful to make sure no one saw him. He started his walk towards the school his human went to and stood just outside its gate. He didn't want to get too close or anything but he kept his eye on the school. He sensed her preseance here and smiled to himself. "I'll see you soon enough, Love." He said mostly to himself.

The class flew by as Praveena continued to take notes. The bell rang as she smiled and put her notebook back in her bag. She walked to her locker, put her textbook away, and walked outside to the courtyard. She then walked towards the school gates.
