Black Swan stands out to me the most because the lighting is very well done.... and maybe because I prefer studio work =P. American Apparel would be interesting but it looks to me like his face is slightly out of focus (the neck & down is more in focus) and the lens flair distracts from the subject. For Walkin' On Sunshine I would crop out the building to the left. Born This Way looks good. Id like to see the original. & The last two are obviously just you messing around.

Thank you. Thank you, Thank you. Thanks for critiquing them all. I'll be sure to post some more. Oh, and for the American Apparel, the focus was mostly suppose to be on his clothes, that's why i did that. American Apparel is a clothing store. and I'll look for the original Born This Way for you.

I know what american apparel is but for a clothing ad to have a effect on the viewer it has to convay some sort of emotion and if the face is out of focus then a lot is taken away from the image. Typically in commercial shots like this everything is very clean and crisp. This looks like a sloppy mistake to me. Cropping the whole head out may have been a better way to do it or simply hiding the face (like with a big hat) would also be effective. Even if the image was sharp and clear that lens flair is still very distracting from the clothes.

I'd have to say I loved "Walkin' on Sunshine" and "Born This Way" the most. They're both truly beautiful, and I can't think of anything else to say except, "Keep up the good work! biggrin " Just a fun fact about me: Every summer I like riding my bike around the neighborhood and taking pictures of all the crape myrtles (fave tree) because all of them are in bloom. I'm not so techie, so Idk about how to get the downloaded photos and share them on the Internet, but I wish I could show you guys the photos. They're really pretty. heart
