This is another story that I had already written here on Gaia but this is going to be the revised version of that story. Back when I was a kid there was a cartoon show called Sky Dancers that was modeled after the toy itself, the show Sky Dancers was about five teenagers who attended an academy called High Hope where they discover that the dean of the school Skyla was the queen of a kingdom known as the Wingdom which was under constant attack by the villain Sky clone. The five teenagers whose names are Jade, Camille, Slam, Breeze, and Angelica who is their leader vow to protect the Wingdom and it's ruler.

Plot: After another defeat by the sky dancers Sky clone decides to fight fire with fire by finding his own sky dancers, and at the same time new students come to High Hope Academy.

A/N: There will be some bashing on Sklya since she's not one of my favorite characters but the four original students are all mine.

Chapter 1: High Hope Beginnings

In a dark castle that's located in the very eye of the storm clouds was Sky clone who was furious at yet another defeat at the sky dancers who thwarted his plans on killing Skyla. His loyal imps known as Muddle, Jumble, and Snarl raced out of the room lest they be hit by his lightning bolts as his temper raged. At the same time the gondola lift stopped at the station with two sets of twins and their luggage getting off making their way to the academy. The older of the two sets were boys named Mark and Jonathon and the girls names were Rozalin and Liddell. The four of them each had their own dream: Liddell as a famous lawyer, Jonathon a famous chef, Mark a famous fashion designer, and Rozalin the famous dancer. Yet one would wonder why three out of four would attend a dance academy when their goals were different and far from dance at all? The answer was family always sticks together and for these four it was especially true as Liddell, Jonathon, and Mark being siblings and Rozalin was their cousin. Rozalin or Rozy as her cousins called her was a bundle of nerves and her low self esteem didn't seem to help matters either, so they decided to attend High Hope as well, and the new program that had been started.

As the four of them stood in front of the academy doors they were confused. Where was the principal of the school and why wasn't she here? The letter clearly stated that she would come and greet them personally yet she was late indeed. Breeze whom had a free period was taking a stroll when he spotted the four of them at the front and decided to see what was up.

"Yo, can I help you tots with anything?"

"Yes, you can by first not calling us tots and the second is answering this simple question. Where's the principal? She was supposed to meet us here according to the letter, here and take a look for yourself."

Liddell handed Breeze the letter and as he read it the four of them continued to wonder why the principal wasn't there as she promised. He handed back the letter which was instantly pocketed and told them to follow him to Dame Skyla's office.

"Thank you for helping us. What's your name by the way?"

"It's Breeze, and what's your names tots?"

"We are not tots Breeze. As for our names I'm Liddell, this is Rozalin, and my brothers Jonathon who is the oldest and Mark who is the second oldest."

The five of them soon arrived at Dame Skyla's office who was busy doing paperwork, upon inquiry she was handed the letter, and than called Angelica to the office to take them to their dorm rooms. As they said their goodbyes she gave the new students a hard stare which slightly unnerved Jonathon who caught the stare. Once at the dorms and the unpacking was completed did she show them around, they all made maps of where everything was, and found themselves outside at the end of the tour.

"... And this is the quad, now are there any questions?"

"What dance do you specialize in Angelica?"

"Liddell was it?..."

"I'm Rozalin and she's Liddell."

"Sorry about that, well I specialize in country rock dance, and what about you four?"

"Belly dance for myself."

"Flamenco for me and Cajun dance for Mark."

"My specialty dance is... Mortal combat dance."

"That's pretty interesting and..."

"Hey Angelica Dame Skyla wanted to see the five of us right away."

As Angelica who quickly introduced her four friends to Liddell and her family did she leave them alone in the quad. Interesting enough did the four glance around making sure that they were all alone in the quad or at least out of earshot.

"I don't want to alarm you guys but as we were leaving her office Dame Skyla gave us a hard stare. I don't have enough to call it a theory but when I do I'll tell you guys soon enough, but for now let's just stick together whenever we can because that stare unnerved me."

Meanwhile Sky clone called for his imps and asked them the question of what did Skyla have that he didn't besides flight?"

"The... Sky dancers?"

"Correct and I think it's time to fight fire with fire by creating my own sky dancers... yes I shall create my own: Storm Dancers ha ha ha ha ha.

I've been hit by inspiration and even know what the third chapter is gonna be like, but for now here's chapter two, and remember all feedback goes in the feedback section.

Chapter 2: High Hope or Low Hope?

After his laughter had died down Sky clone than ordered the imps Muddle, Jumble, and Snarl to observe anyone in the Wingdom whom could have potential that he could recruit as his own Storm Dancer army, however it would quite take some time, and another thing is that it must be done secretly. Later at High Hope academy Dame Skyla was looking over the files of the new students and so far she wondered if letting them into the academy was the right thing to do. For she didn't like what she was reading a the moment not at all... The girl Rozalin was incredibly gifted but her self-esteem was rather low, the boys Jonathon and Mark spent some time at an asylum, and the last girl Liddell whose IQ being off the charts had a rather large history of violence. As for the said students themselves they did their best to adjust to their new surroundings and did their best to take things in stride however classes didn't seem to go so well for them...

A few weeks later during class Rozalin had slightly sprained her ankle yet was still told to do the steps, when Dame Skyla saw how swollen her ankle at the end was she was given a rather harsh scolding, and was told not to show up for anymore classes until the swelling went down slightly. Later that day Rozalin's ankle could be seen soaking in a bucket with some ice and making sure that the door was locked did her cousins give their opinions on their teacher.

"Just slightly?... Does she want you to lose your foot or something?"

"Not too mention... being told that I'm not doing the steps right........"

"It's not your fault Rozy you just need to practice... once your ankle is all better of course."

"Jonathon's right Rozy, don't beat yourself up over something like this. In fact you did pretty well today and we're proud of you."

"Thanks you guys that really cheered me up."

The four of them smiled and decided to watch a bit of television before heading down to dinner. Time had passed for both events and when two months after the sprained ankle incident had passed did Dame Skyla make an announcement for their class. A special show was going to be put on for the sponsors, specially invited guests, and the parents both the older students and for their class would give each a performance of their best dances plus a special choreographed dance for each of them. She told them to practice hard and practice hard they did, and when the big day came... their own show wasn't put on at all and when an inquiry was made.

"You weren't ready for such a performance, is that a problem?"

"Not at all Dame Skyla and thank you for answering our inquiry. Come on guys let's go practice our specialized dances again."

However later at night students stole out of their beds and made their way to the fountain which was located in the quad which had been a favorite spot for some young students. Indeed even though Rozalin, Liddell, Mark, and Jonathon seemed quite fine with the answer on the outside, but on the inside they were steaming mad, and it showed on their faces when they had their late night meeting.

"We weren't ready? Not ready? That's a rather bold face lie if I ever heard one in fact we were far more than ready to show off our skills."

"If you ask me... I think she planned on doing this from the very start, getting our hopes up and all that jazz."

"High Hope? More like Low Hope academy. We know practice makes perfect but she should practice on being a better teacher. Since we got here all she does is put us down, blames us for getting an injury because of a mistake we make, and she's not even there to teach us half the time."

"It's like... Guys I have a theory that you should all listen to right now. What you three just said really helped my theory out and I thank you for that immensely."

"What's your theory Jonathon?"

"My theory is... That Dame Skyla has never wanted us in High Hope academy in the first place and she still doesn't want us to be here. In fact I wouldn't be surprised that she decides to kick us out of her school simply because of our low standards. Low standards which she herself gives us and I bet it's because of... our past. Mark and I were thrown into an asylum for saving Rozalin's life when we were little, Rozalin was constantly verbally abused and degraded since she was small by her parents, and as for Liddell..."

"I'm more of the shoot first and ask questions later type, and let's not forget what a firecracker I am when it comes to explosions. If people didn't try and see if they could bully or cause me great harm I wouldn't have hurt them *frown*."

"Dame Skyla doesn't even try to correct us just telling us that we're doing it wrong but never showing us how..."

"Like I said it's before, it's like she doesn't want us here, and I gotta say that it's a good thing that grandma and auntie weren't here. They probably would have words with Dame Skyla about keeping her word *snicker*... and maybe make her stand in the corner for an hour thinking about what she had done wrong."

They all shared a laugh about that and decided that the talk was over, and so they made their way back to their dormitories. The four of them didn't go to sleep as Jonathon's theory went over in their head, could it possibly be true that Jonathon's theory was correct? That Dame Skyla never wanted them in the first place? If that's true then why make such a program to enlist younger students? Finally they closed their eyes, decided to explore the questions for another day, and went to sleep. Who knew whatever adventures would come to them the very next day if at all.

I was hit by a bit of inspiration though it looks like this chapter will be my last until this tiny case of writer's block disappears from my mind. Oh and before I forget... HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY EVERYBODY heart

Chapter 3: The Recruiters

The next day the very four of them could be seen spending their lunch break outside tossing a frizbee around, Dame Skyla's dogs called Whirl and Twirl joined in on the fun, and everything seemed great until Twirl ran off with it. The five gave chase only to find Dame Skyla who gave them all a scolding before confiscating it, Twirl and Whirl growled before whimpering from yet another scolding, and so they decided later to ask for their frizbee back. Instead they decided to walk through the gardens all the while planning on getting their frizbee out of Dame Skyla's office before she could throw it in the garbage or something. It was than that they noticed a path that they didn't see before when Angelica gave them the tour. The question was explore it now or explore it later when they had more free time? After a few short minutes of debating it was decided to get the frizbee first then check out the new path when they had more free time later. At the end of the day Rozalin and Mark went to talk to Dame Sklya on getting the frizbee back, the answer was negative with yet another scolding but somewhat lighter, and as they left her office Whirl and Twirl showed up with the frizbee in Twirl's mouth. It turned out that the two of them stole the frizbee from the office and handed it to Rozalin.

"Good doggies, yes you are yes you are."

After a reward of a good scratch behind the ears the two dogs took off and the duo headed to their dorm room. It was during the weekend when they decided to take the new path since the trip home had been shot down because of a business trip came up instead. The four of them walked on to find themselves in front of a building, upon entering did they find it was filled with music boxes all playing the same melody, and so they decided to look around.

"Wow... this one is so pretty."

"Hey, check this one out it's absolutely gorgeous."

"Man, you would so need to be able to fly down in order to check out the other music boxes..."

"Hey guys come over here for a second and check this one out."

Jonathon called out to them and they made their way to the music box that he was staring at. This music box was the tallest of them all and was shaped like a tower with a star at the very tip top of it. They all gazed at it for a while wondering about the shape of it and who could have make it.

"I wonder... do you think the jewels are real or fake?"

"They must be fake gems because I can't see any of these having real jewels."

"Not to mention... why so many music boxes?"

"And why do they all play the exact same melody?"

"It's kind of strange... though it could be her hobby."

"What do you four think your doing?"

They turned around to see Dame Skyla with an extremely angered look on her face, they were so busy checking out the music boxes that they didn't hear her coming up behind them, and needless to say they knew that they were in trouble... again.

"We were admiring the music boxes Dame Skyla."

"Out, get out of this building now."

They hastily made their way towards the exit only to pass a quick hello/goodbye to Whirl and Twirl whom both barked their own greetings. Once they were outside they awaited Dame Skyla who was more pissed off than before. It wasn't until she had spoken that they knew that they were in rather major trouble.

"Never enter this building again, if I find out that any of you have dared enter... I will expel you from High Hope academy and your future dancing careers will be over before they can even start. Is that understood?"

"Yes ma'am... it is indeed understood."

"Now get out of here immediately."

The four of them headed down the path as did Skyla at a much slower pace when she thought she heard something about correctness but didn't hear anything else. As Liddell, Mark, Jonathon, and Rozalin made their way to the school they continued talking about the oddly shaped music box and Dame Skyla.

"It looked more like a signal tower or a beacon above anything else."

"If that is so, than what's it's particular use for it?"

"Must be some kind of a secret is my guess."

"More to the point... Jonathon's theory seems to be correct."

"You mean...?"

"Yes... Dame Skyla has never wanted us here in her academy in the first place. Think about it for a second, she's strict with all the students, but when it comes to us four she attacks us without provoke or a warning."

"That hard stare she gave us on the first day here was unnerving, not to mention her teaching skills for our class, and the treatment we received on more than one occasion."

"It's unanimous than... we were never welcomed into this school."

"So do you think you guys should leave and peruse your own dreams? I'll be staying behind of course but still..."

"You heard what Dame Skyla said earlier and I bet she wouldn't hesitate to expel you anyway. The world of dance is full of competition and aggressiveness but were not leaving you behind. We all go or none of us go."

Unbeknown to them that at that very moment they were being spied upon by Snarl who like Muddle and Jumble could not find anyone in the Wingdom so with a magical talisman did he get transported to the academy to search there. He disappeared back to Sky clone's dark palace to give the evil Sky clone the news of the potential recruits.

"Boss... hey boss, I found someones, four in fact who could be your storm dancers."

"Excellent."

"However boss... they're just kids."

"WHAT? CHILDREN YOU SAY?"

"Y-Yeah boss but they don't really like Skyla. I heard them say that she didn't want them in her presence."

"Interesting... I must bring them here and recruit them for my plans... ha ha ha ha ha."

Since I have been hit by a very small spark of inspiration I have decided to update this story but due to the unfortunate event known as writer's block updates will be few and far between... so enjoy this somewhat crappy chapter.

Chapter 4: Spying

The magic of the transportation talisman's power had waned greatly to bring Snarl to the academy and back to Sky Clone's evil lair, upon the discovery Sky Clone was enraged, and he studied for a way to bring those four children to his lair. At the academy said four children were working hard on their dance moves, Dame Skyla was teaching their class for the day, but didn't bother to correct their ballet stances, and scolded Mark when he almost turned an ankle. After classes were done they headed out into the quad/garden for some fresh air as was their usual after class schedule, they would discuss about their classes for the day, and the popular topic was the threat placed upon them recently... being expelled. What was the real reason that Dame Skyla wanted them out of the building? Why go so far as to threaten to expel them? They shut up as they noticed Slam running towards them and Camille who was also coming up to them as well.

"Hey Camille, Dame Skyla wants to see us in the music box room."

"Alright Slam I'm coming..."

The two teenagers did not hear the children's greetings as they ran past them, the four of them wondered what Dame Skyla wanted to see them about, and why in the same place that they were threaten to be expelled?

"... We've noticed that Dame Skyla always summons those five upperclassmen practically daily."

"I wonder why myself at times... and why that music box room too?"

"We may get expelled for this but... we should check it out."

"I'll go... I'm a faster runner than you three."

With words of good luck Rozalin followed the path that Slam and Camille took to the music box room. Upon arrival she stood just outside the door and couldn't believe what she just heard with her ears, Dame Skyla was saying something to the five of them, and strained to hear the renemants of her speech.

"*Mumble mumble*... I summon my Sky Dancers to defend my kingdom."

"If it is to be it's up to ME..."

Without a moment's hesitation she stepped into the room just in time to be blinded by a bright light, the five teenagers, and Dame Skyla had suddenly vanished. With wide eyes Rozalin hurried back towards her cousins and told them what she heard and saw, and the four of them made their way back to the music box room.

"... And they just vanished into thin air."

"I find that hard to believe Rozy."

"It's the TRUTH... Dame Skyla said something about defending a kingdom, those five said something, and that bright light came from where they were standing."

They went to where Rozalin pointed and it was right next to the beacon-like music box. Little did they know what exactly was going on to where the six of them disappeared A few hours later the six returned to the academy unaware that they were being spied upon as Liddell's head ducked out of the doorway and the being ran down the path with the information she was going to share with her family. She entered her room completely outta breath as her brothers and cousin looked up from what they were doing, and she was instantly given some water to which she gulped down.

"*Pant*... I... *pant*... s-saw them."

"Easy Liddell... you saw them?"

"Y-Yeah... right out of that yellow egg/oval music box, the very one that was next to the beacon one, and that's when I ran all the way here to tell you guys... luckily they didn't catch seeing me before I could make my report."

"We now know where they disappear but... where do they go exactly?"

"We should find out, what do you guys think?"

"I say we lay low for now and act like we normally do, once their guard is down, and than we check it out... agreed?"

With the hearty shout of 'Aye Aye' did they go back to their business, and little did they know that they would soon meet the Sky Dancer's worst enemy.

The next chapter will be up in a while.
