I have an idea for a roleplay world, not much of a storyline to follow just yet. I'm sure all of you could help it unfold with me though biggrin
the world/scenario that the RP would take place:
A cruiser class battleship in deep space, somewhere nearby the Andromeda Galaxy. That's the location, the ship itself isn't under attack (for the time being) and it isn't damaged in any way.
The rules of the world are simple, imagine any species you can. And it's a part of the universe this story takes place in. That's right, humans, vampires, dragons, merfolk, unicorns, partrelians (you guys know where I'm going with this right?) yeah... every single race/species you know.
Just no magic, it's all science baby. So "magical" creatures such as dragons and unicorns keep all of their attributes, but no "magical" things are effected outside of themselves.
So an example of a character could be:
Stormold
-Sev
-Dragon-Kin
--abilities of a dragon in human form, super speed and strength, highly intelligent, nearly unbeatable eye-sight. no flight without wings.
-position: fighter pilot of the Galactic Fleet
-no family
blah blah blah, savvy?

Hope i can help! that's the thing, I created a world but I have no real conflict as of yet... I can think of maybe rebel style, the lone ship against an armada. or maybe an investigative team going into deep space to check out a lost transmission, etc. etc.

Kurgistar i wanna do a star wars rp based in the time of the great war which is just before the start of the new old republic game. The story would start on a planet on the outer edge of the mid rim. there republic forces go head to head with the sith imperial army. the battle of the planet had already raged for two months and now a new group of republic forces including some jedi are now being sent in to try and break the stalemate. i could allow one side or even both sides of the conflict but the number of jedi would be limited to 3 (aside from the jedi master already in charge of the planet) not too sure of where to go with it yet but its a start Thats a great idea! i recommend you start by making a list of abilities that the jedi can do, or certain character or roleplay classes such as soldier, smuggler, and you can start out on the space ship's journey towards the planet.

Jedi master Doth Morell, the general in command of the planet, has requested a tactical force be sent to break this stalemate and win the battle for the republic. his request was answered by a small group of fresh republic troops and lead by 19 year old Jedi knight Fortanis Archeal and two other young jedi on board a new corellian defender-class light corvette. this is their tale... will the sublet call of the darkside corrupt these young jedi? will light triumph over the dark? will the average troop be able to kill a force using opponent?-
come join in an rp where you may fight for glory and the republic on the surface of Ultimis III!
you may use what ever race you wish and pick from three base classes:
-Jedi (only 2 slots open)
-republic trooper

Try to be as professional as possible.
