Q & A

1. Why is there so much information needed?
In order to make the game more realistic you should provide as much information as possible. It forces the player to become more in tune with the character and make proper decisions as if you are this character.

2. Why are the stats important?
Stats make all the difference to a character, someone who is really strong isn't going to be beaten up by someone really weak. Someone who isn't weak isn't going to be a pack mule for the other characters when they have a big strong warrior type.

3. Why are the stats set up as 8+?
The stat system is one similar to the available one from Dungeons and Dragons Online. You get 32 points that you can spend anywhere you choose up to a max of 18 unless a race allows you to go higher. But keep in mind you get +1 Bonuses based off of Tomes and every 4 levels.

4. Can I put in any level I want?
Unfortunately no. You start off as Level 1 unless otherwise stated by the DM AKA Me.

5. How do I level up?
You level up based on how many posts you make. HOWEVER, if you spend a bit of time on your posts and present your character well then I give out bonus experience and often enough if decided by captain and crew we can instantly level you based off of performance.

6. How do I determine my Hit Points?
Hit points are based off of your Constitution and your Hit Die. For example. Humans have a hit die of 8. and lets say this human had 14 Constitution then he would have a +2 bonus giving him 10 hit points.

7. Why do I need Hit Points Or Armor class for that matter?
In order for the RP to become more fair in fights it is used more or less as a teaching aid. A huge Orc Barbarian will not likely be taken down by a tiny human bard in hand to hand combat.

8. What do I use for equipment?
Generalize it. I use leather armor and a long sword. As you progress through the lands you can buy or even find better items such as. "DM: Determines you successfully find a hidden chamber containing a Long Sword of Fire Bane. Bonuses:
+2 Strength
+3 Fire
+3 Dark"

9. How do I determine Armor Class?
It works the same way as in D&D your base of 10 + Armor + Shield + Dexterity Mod + Natural Armor + Deflection Bonus. You only really start with Armor and Dex bonuses, items you can obtain will have Natural Armor and Deflection Bonuses.

10. How do I determine my spells?
Spells are complicated for every RP no doubt about it. You need to come up with your own spells and give them a ranking from 0-9. At level 1 you are only getting 0 rank spells. They can't be too powerful. As you go up levels the spells you get increase and you can acquire higher level spells. Every now and then you can find items or books that will provide you with higher level and helpful spells.

11. I am still confused about building my character, can you give me an example?
Certainly.
