The first six books will be re-released on May 6, 2011. Wondering what peoples' thoughts were on that. I'm not sure where the original post was that referenced it, but figured we could make an official thread for discussing.

I was browsing around on their Scholastic website, and they have a quiz~ for which Animorph you are. I got Jake. Kind of a .... moment. Still.. hm. Well, appearance-wise, I do prefer most of the original characters. Guess it's because I'm used to them. I do prefer the Tobias they have this time to the one they switched to near the end of the series. Jake looks spiffy, too. xD Cassie doesn't have short hair though. @.@

I did really like the animations though~. They look awesome. I have to say the trailer really hyped things up for me, too.

Not yet. I only just recently finished reading all the old ones! I figure I'll start collecting the new ones (all hardback to offset my all paperback old ones) sometime next year.

I have all the new books up to #5 now, but I've only read the first two so far. I'm really interested to see the changes they've made.

I'm planning on buying them all to support the rerelease, because I'm holding out the slim hope that if sales are good enough, maybe we'll get a new TV show or movie, haha!
