Okay...so I am one of those people that will listen to any sort of music once. I am not picky nor do I discriminate. I have however, over the last year or so found myself leaving my usual...which is punk, metal, rock in general...for Irish music.
I love Irish and Celtic punk, and the Folk Punk sound. I don't know what it is but I'm addicted.
Some of my favorite bands are the usual, Dropkick Murphys, Flogging Molly, but I also love Gaelic Storm, and flatfoot 56 and Black 47
as well as some other folk sounding artists that are American folk, not Irish...like Joshua James, I adore him.
I don't know, I just have found myself still loving my rock music but straying away for this more...unique sound. Most of the ones I listen to are politically and socially aware, which i love. and they are generally talented people. I'll have to post some links up for you guys to listen to.

I LOVE Flogging Molly. I have heard of Gaelic Storm. Haven't heard any of their music, though. smile

sadly though i am a smoker, so i have to
singing...which is only still available to me because
i have trained my voice...
and playing my bass guitar

I've personally never seen them in person, but I don't put it passed my mother to have it. I've seen a few signed cd's lying around here are there actually. 0.0
Though, you've probably never heard of those. xD
