It was once believed the four seasons lived in harmony. Winter, Autumn, Summer and Spring shared time and space equally, each understanding the important of the others and continuing their cycles as though it were a natural part of life. But things have changed.
The kingdom of Winter, under the command of a cold-hearted monarch, has begun to move its troops and seize control of territory of other kingdoms. Winter has already entered and destroyed the kingdom of Autumn, which is now forced into an alliance with the powerful empire. The two have now begun to attack the kingdoms of Summer and Spring, which have joined together in alliance in attempt to stop the war and regain peace within the kingdoms. However, the opposing force may have already gotten to strong for the warmer seasons to overcome. A war of the four seasons has begun, and in the end, there may only be one.

- As always, follow both the ToS and Guild Rules.
- Please be literate. People will ignore you if they don't understand what you're trying to say.
- No Godmodding. Not every hit can miss, just as a random lightning bolt can kill a character you don't like.
- You control no one else's character. Don't try to.
- If you have to leave the roleplay, TELL ME. I can make a convenient and logical way to pull your character out of the story.
- Please only take on as many characters as you can handle. I understand if you want to be two or three, but please do not have people depending on a character you won't touch for days.
- Romance, violence, and language is allowed up to a PG-13 rating. Go nuts.

Winter// Soyala
The kingdom of Soyala, ruled by a cold-hearted and intelligent monarch, has the most advances in technology and warfare. Ice and water are used as energy sources, powering crystal lights, heaters, military weapons, as well as other necessities. There are few, if any sources of entertainment besides children's toys and intellectual games. All business is controlled by the government, and trade and immigration is strictly monitored. To make things short, if the government doesn't know of it, it's illegal.

I measure: 5'4
My people say I'm: Sweet, kind, bubbly, insufferably nice, innocent. On the outside. The truth is that she's actually a cunning, deceptive, cruel, merciless and sadistic genius.
All the wonderful things: anything CUTE, power, doom, control, getting her way, scheming
These, I can live without: Idiots, losing, being belittled or treated like a child.
My story? Read it in a book: Noe is actually the cruel and unrelenting empress of Soyala who rules with an iron fist. However, few people have actually seen her face, and when she does go out she disguises herself as a man with her face covered in a black veil. Because of that, it is believed that the young ruler of Soyala is a male- the only ones who know are those who are closest to her. While disguised as a boy, she acts like her true self, but when she goes into town as a female pretending to be a peasant she puts up her kind and cute facade. It's her intention to dominate the world some day.
She inherited the kingdom when her parents were poisoned by a trusted servant. They had been kind and peaceful, but Noe was nothing like them, and the moment she seized power, she began her conquest.

Autumn//Lior The kingdom of Lior, once a place rich with culture and peace, has fallen. Lior is now known for its abandoned buildings, thieves, homless, poor, and chaos. Its government abandoned the fallen kingdom shortly after the invasion, and Lior is ruled by the cold empire. Under the control of Soyala, Lior is tortured by taxes by the stronger kingdom and abuse from its soldiers. Many have ran to the other kingdoms in hope of a better life, leaving Lior's history and splendor hidden beneath the rubble.

Summer//Udara
The kingdom of Udara consists of mostly rural lands, with an inner city near the castle. This kingdom is the most self-reliant with an abundance of resources. Udara is fairly peaceful and wishes nothing but peace with the other kingdoms, but the war has led its people to war to protect their way of life. Some of the outskirts of Udara have been taken by Solaya, detatching the kingdom from much of the information of the battlefield.
Udara Monarch My name? You know it already: Iliana Freumonte Age is but a number: Fifteen I measure: 5'6" My people say I'm: Determined, headstrong, a tad brash, but kind underneath it all. All the wonderful things: Open fields, eyes, trees, and bare feet. These, I can live without: Shoes, meetings, being underestimated, cold weather. My story? Read it in a book: Iliana, although young and female, has always been a tough and determined girl. She readily stepped up to the task of ruling the kingdom of Udara after her parents were killed by a group of rebels who supported Soyala's postition. She is deeply involved with the war effort, constantly sending soldiers to war grounds and increasing the effort to return the land lost during battles. She sometimes goes to towns bordering the war grounds in order to obtain reports and tally the death total. Her strongest ally is with Laverna and the young prince who helps assist in Udara's struggle. Her only wish is to liberate Soyala and return peace to her kingdom. Spring//Laverna Laverna is a kingdom rich with culture and prosperity. The kingdom consists of many small villages and one large city where peasants and the privileged can mingle among each other. The war is hardly mentioned inside the kingdom and wholly unknown by the people, many of whom consider it all rumor. Only the military and ruling powers discuss the war in depth, leaving the people in a clouded bliss.

My story? Read it in a book: Ellis is the youngest to ever rule Laverna. His parents, the former king and queen had died when he was the age of 15 in a fire. From then on he was determined to be a great leader. He is determined to stop the kingdom of winter from taking over his and the kingdom of summer. Though he dislikes fighting, he is quite a skilled fighter and will risk himself to save the kingdom. He'll often visit the town or go off into the nearby forest.

All characters, excluding monarchs, are assumed to be civilians. I really wouldn't prefer you to be soldiers or on the warfront in any way besides being an innocent bystander. Soldiers will be unimportant characters that anyone might be without pictures necessary. Just include in your post that a soldier did this or that, and I will be pleased. Believe it or not, I'm only: 17

These are some of my favorite things: Quiet places, peace, observing, staring intensely at beautiful people for long periods of time, pitch darkness, cats
I wouldn't touch these with a ten foot pole: Bright lights, loud noises, being hated, fear
People say I'm: Dark, creepy and mysterious, but she's really just socially awkward. She's mute, so she has difficulty expressing herself and just ends up seeming weird (like staring intensely at people she thinks are interesting because she doesn't know what else to do) Her lack of social exposure in her childhood makes it even worse. She's also a bit gloomy, tending to think or believe in the worst possible scenario.

Here's my story: Ermine was born and raised in the kingdom of Lior, but her family always had difficulty with money. They were deeply in debt, and as the taxes continued rising, it wasn't long before her family had to go into hiding. At the time she was 8, and she lived with her family in a dark underground cave trying to raise enough money to escape to another kingdom. Because of this, she grew to become used to darkness and loneliness and even enjoy it. When she was 15 they were discovered by the soldiers. They ordered her father to pay, and when he claimed that he couldn't and begged for more time, he was shot on the spot, and her mother was put in handcuffs and taken away. Ermine ran after them and tried to retaliate, but the soldier turned and shot her in the throat. She was left to bleed to death, but she was saved by a group of travelers on their way to Soyala to join the army. One of them was a doctor who had been falsely accused of fraud and was also forced to go into hiding, and he was barely able to treat her injury, but she was rendered mute. They brought her with them for the journey, but had no choice but to leave her when they arrived because she was not in well enough physical condition to join the army. So ever since then she has been fending for herself in Soyala.

People say I'm: Eilam is a very easygoing guy. He often gets distracted by things he finds interesting and speaks softly. Many people consider him lazy, but he simply doesn't bother with boring things, making him seem unmotivated.
I'm located in the kingdom of: Laverna
Here's my story: Eilam was born into the priviledged, noble family of Edrit in the kingdom of Laverna. He lives in a large building near the castle and has never left the interior city due to the harshness of his tutors, who find it unbefitting to associate with those of lower rank. His parents have little to nothing to do with him, and rarely see him except for special occasions. Eilam spends most of his time on the castle grounds, but rarely speaks to those who inhabit it. Instead, he makes a hobby of either spending time in the gardens or listening to the affairs of the royal attendants. Once while snooping on a meeting in the castle, Eilam found out about the war. He was astonished to find out that the entire kingdom knew so little of such a devastating event, one that had completely abolished the once proud land of Lior. Eilam now tries to find out as much as he can about the war, hoping to leave Laverna one day to help those afflicted by it.

These are some of my favorite things: Dusk enjoys time to think, daydreaming, plotting, and sitting in trees. Dawn enjoys looking at the bright side, exciting opportunities, daydreaming, and meeting new people.
I wouldn't touch these with a ten foot pole: Dusk doesn't like loud noises, strangers, being controlled, failing, attention. Dawn dislikes seeing other people hurt, worrying, 'bad people'. [dislikes]
People say I'm: Dusk tries to remain cool-headed about her situation, but deep down she fears a lot of things. She likes to keep things to herself, and trusts very few people. Even though she appears shy, she cares deeply about other's feelings once you get to know her. The girl also tries to stick to any thing she starts, and in most situations would rather know what's happening and decide rather than charging head first.
Dawn would be described by others as kind-hearted, open-minded, and very social. Unlike her twin, she insists that you can't fear strangers because they could make good friends if you got to know them. Even though she tries to help others and stay passionate, sometimes she thinks too quickly and ends up dragging other people (along with herself) into bad situations; even if it unintentional.

Here's my story: After Soyala 'making an alliance', or rather, forcing Lior's people to join their forces; the twins's family fell into extreme money problems. One day, soldiers came asking for pay; but their mother protested they had nothing. So, they took their father to work off their debts. Dusk and her twin, Dawn, were left with their mother. They were really living on the edge, and the urge to flee as refugees was resisted in the hope that their father might come back. If they left, how could he ever find them again? Eventually, more men came by requesting pay. Their mother was furious, saying her husband had already been taken, her daughters were starving; and they had no income of money at the moment. Lacking patience, one of the men fired a bullet at her leg, saying they had one week.
No matter how hard they tried, they couldn't find a single doctor; nor a job to get them money for the surgery. As they had promised, men from Soyala came a third time; irritable and ready to fire. Bursting into the house, they demanded everyone to stand; but Dusk's mother told them that she could not. In response to this, they fired. Horrified, Dawn and Dusk managed to escape with their lives and run as fast as they could. Now, they travel dreaming of how to stop the war and finding information, moving from place to place, and avoiding being captured.

Here's my story: Aki was once next in line to be the ruler of Lior, and is the last remaining of his family and government, although as far as anyone knows, he's dead. He spent most of his life either traveling meeting the important people his father knew from other kingdoms or in his own kingdom meeting all his people. Most everyone liked him and he had very few people who could be considered his enemy. He is a very dangerous person for Soyala to leave alive. So far however, he has remained hidden and always hides his face from sight to keep out of harms way. Although he has escaped his death, he is stuck in Soyala as of now, and leaving ins't a likely option. His best bet is to find someone who could get him out of Soyala and away to a place were he can safely bring hope back to his people.
In case you wanted to know: He currently pretends to be blind, allowing his hooded clothing and a dark blind fold to hide his eyes and hair. Those two things alone could give his identity away in an instant Especially if the person who saw him was from Lior.

Here's my story: Eden was born into a poor family who managed by working for the Royal family of Laverna. Her mother was one of the queen's servants and her father is a solider. They were poor, but still happy until one day two years ago. A mysterious fire had broken out in the castle. It had killed Eden's mother and had also killed the king and queen. Eden's father was distraught as well as Eden herself. But they both moved on. Her father took care of her on his own. It was until the war broke out and her father was sent off to fight, leaving his daughter living alone. Eden now spends her time in the cottage she and her parents lived in if not in her secret place. Her secret place is a gazebo within the forest, surrounded by all kinds of plants, flowers, and trees. And on one of the tree's there is a swing. Her father had built this place for her to play when she was younger. She is often there on the swing, thinking about her father and missing him.
In case you wanted to know: Eden has an immense fear of fire, since she knows its what killed her mother. Also, her father sends her money to live off.

It had been only a few hours since he was last "excused" from the castle grounds, and wanted to make sure that this time, he acted as a more amiable guest. He halted when he saw a guard stop, thinking he had been discovered, but luckly the guard had only stopped to speak with his co-worker. Eilam finally reached his destination- a small creek within the castle gardens- and dipped his feet in the cool water. It seemed almost crazy that a war was really going on just outside the border of Laverna, especially with the peace that resided in the castle walls. If he had not discovered the war himself, he probably wouldn't believe it. However, it was peaceful in the kingdom now, and Eilam could waste his time relaxing in the castle gardens, worrying of little more than being escorted out of his little sanctuary, and even that worried him little.●←

✾·.¸¸.є ℓ ℓ ι s·.¸¸. ✾ ✾Prince of Laverna✾ ╔══════════════╗ ✾Away from the worries within the Laverna kingdoms castle was its own prince, Young Ellis.. He was somewhere in the garden once again practicing with his beloved violin. It was quite the stress reliever especially at a time like this..The war..The possiblity of being taken over by the kingdom of winter..It all was very stressful.. The young prince had the habit of channeling this stress through the soothing melody of the violin.. He closed his light hazel eyes as the Melody of the strings filled the air.. The petals of the surrounding flowers danced with the gentle breeze that came through the garden, carrying the sweet scent..Yes.. To Ellis, this was like a dream..No war...Only peace along with the warm breeze of the spring time ✾

Curious, he cautiously wandered towards the beautiful sound. It was then that he spotted the ruler of Laverna himself playing the violin in the garden. Eilam kept his distance from the powerful monarch, both afraid of being discovered and intruiged by the peaceful sound of the music that produced such a sound that no being of peace should want to interrupt it. Eilam stood quietly in the distance, listening to the music and enjoying the peace and solitude the gardens held.●←

With a small content sigh, the prince brought the violin and bow to his sides separately.."That should do it.." he said. He figured he would most likely be wanted back in the castle, though he would rather stay. He turned on his heel not only to see the way back to the castle, but another looking at him.. "Hm? I've seen you around the castle" The prince said with a slight smile. "But I have yet to meet you" and with that, Ellis stepped forward towards the boy, still having a smile across his lips ✾

He started when his Highness spotted him, and his eyes grew wide like a deer in headlights. "Oh! Your H-highness! Please pardon me on my intrusion! I did not mean to interrupt you!" Eilam sputtered quickly, now realizing that he had not only been caught in the gardens again, but may be seen as a threat to the ruler of Laverna himself. He tried to say more, but from this point, his words were far more like a jumbled mess.●←
