I dont expect this thread to be a good one but yea say who got you into your favorite types of music.

I'll go first.

No one got me into black metal, however my dad had me listening to grunge, alternative, punk, and some metal. From there i started to explore various types of music which lead me to the main bands i lstened to in 07 , Ministry(indstrial metal) , Slipknot-Shitknot(nu metal) , and Dimmu borgir(new black metal)

I was getting so bored of dimmu and slipknot i wanted to expand, so one night I was on the computer and i forget how but on youtube i found a mysterious lookin song on there titled Burzum - Jesu død and after i clicked on it i could'nt stop listening. it was so much better then all the s**t i had listend to before. ever since that night it was just BLACK METAL BLACK METAL BLACK METAL !!!!!!!!!
So after all that i realized my dad kinda is the reason i listen to black metal mainly because his favorite genres were sorta my gateway into it.
