I usually prefer to work alone, even though I know working in a crew has many benefits, such GHI level rising which results in earning more gold, more orbs, rings and just drops, overall. More buffs as well.
I do know there are times where I have no choice but to work in a crew, such as EB.
But when it comes to farming, or in my current case, just working on badges, I do prefer to work alone. I don't know if your crew kills will count as your kills as well. I believe it doesn't count if the crew kills the animated for you, which is why I dread working on the sand pit badges once I'm done with the other animated in Village Greens. -_- So hard to kill on your own with no interference, since so many people flock to that area to make gold. And being in crew doesn't help when your crew members are competing with other crew members to kill as many fluffs as possible before anyone else can, which ends up leaving you with nothing to kill. xp
