"I wanna fly!"This says it's a crow, but can crows get that big? I'm more into ravens myself, so I don't know too much about crows. But that is amazing, I know at least ravens can reproduce a sound almost exactly how it sounded. They also can add their own version, the latter video reminding me of a wise old man. This gives much light on Odhinn's ravens Huginn and Munin, thought and memory. "Who's a good bird?"

my spirit animal is a Raven, and there are alot in my area. ^.^ i was walking one day with a close freind, now my boy freinds, when i looked up and saw a raven flying right overhead, the moment i saw it this spell came into my head (it was almost Imbolc)
Raven grant me wings of flight, Through each day and night, Show me something that is true, Something old, Something new.

D: Wow, I'm jealous. xD Sorta, but my animal can be a wolf or a puma, it appears in both forms depending on if I'm in a magician's mindset or a normal one. The feline form generally appears on a general basis while the wolf manifests as my magician's self. Sorta confusing I guess, but it works for me, obviously I love the two animals.
And I believe that is your animal, because the spell/poem sounds a lot like denoting the Norse mythological idea of the Raven, supporting Odhinn in thought (something now, new) and memory (something old). Also, truth can be incorporated as well since another Norse myth is to pay attention to the number of times a Raven will caw. Add it up and figure out which rune it adds up to. (if it is beyond 24, add the two digits together.) Very cool.

Ravens are very remarkable animals. I have two necklace pieces that I wear that have ravens on them, I have named one Huginn and the other Muninn, in honnor of Odin the wise.
Crows (Corvus brachyrhynchos) and Ravens (Corvus corax) are members of the same family, but the raven is generally a much larger and less social bird.
If you see one, you might want to think about which one your seeing, it could make lots of difference, spiritually speaking.

BanefulBekkah How do you tell what your spirit animal is? There may be other techniques, but as far as I am aware, if there is an animal that shows up in your dreams consistently, that would be viewed as your spirit animal. I know you can call upon this entity that is attached to you and it may or may not reveal itself. I'll have to check again, but it may even be possible for your spirit friend to appear as different animals. But there is generally one principle animal it manifests as. Knowing it is there will make it easier for you to communicate with it.
