It's a very important role to be one of the Legendary Dogs and everyone needs a vacation, right? Let's join Nero and Leyna as they try to have a vacation of their own. What kind of adventures will they have? What kind of Pokémon will they meet? Let's continue on and find out.

Nero reached a clearing by a lake and gave a yawn. Glancing around, he took this opportunity to take a break. He walked over to the lake's edge and plopped down, stretching before he rested his head on a paw. Sure it was morning, but he was still tired anyway. Nero was also positive Leyna would probably show up any moment considering he was by the water.

Leyna watched Nero lay by her waters from below the surface her mane waving with the water's slight current. Feeling it was time to expose herself to Nero she took her leave of the waters using her powers to guide her up to the surface. "Hello there friend." she said in a musical tone smiling at Nero, her four paws creating ripples on the clear surface.

Nero tilted his head, never lifting it, enough so he could see Leyna better and he smiled. "Thought you'd show up," he said. He sat up and stretched once more. "How are you this fine sunny day?" he added, smiling softly. Nothing Nero liked better than a sunny day.  happiny

"Pleasant"she said smiling at the lazy beast. "And you dear Nero?" she asked tilting her head towards the sky and letting the sun's warm rays shine down upon her and she took step towards the shore, water crystals forming in her footsteps.

He gave a small nod. "Couldn't be better," Nero replied. He moved so he was a safe distance from the water--he wasn't in the mood to get wet. "Have anything planned today?"

Stepping towards her friend away from her dear water she answered "only as much as the clouds have plans to float though the sky." Leyna laughed her musical laugh, and lay next to Nero playfully rolling onto her back and gazing up at the sky.

Nero laughed a little and walked around so that when he peered over her head to look down at her, she was upside down. "Why don't we do some exploring?" he suggested. "Otherwise I'll end up lying here by the lake all day. Wouldn't want to be too lazy."

Giggling cutely Leyna pawed at Nero's mane, looking into his eyes she answered "Of course but-- this is our region we already know all of it, the only places I havent been..."she counted off in her head "are Latios, Latias, Groudon, Kyogre, Rayquaza..." she trailed on, straightened herself meeting Nero's eyes and stating "Well you know the rest" she admitted and giggled.

Nero let her paw at his mane and he didn't really move. Except to walk around and sit beside her. "Yeah I have an idea," he said and nodded. "Then why don't we go visiting the places we haven't been yet?"

Laughing cheerfully Leyna answered in a adventurous voice "I've been wanting to visit Hoenn for sometime." She pondered "Kyogre and I might get along---our powers are so much alike" a smile crept across her face.

"Well then, let's go," Nero replied as he got up. "It'd be good to see someplace new. And we'll see who or whatever else we'll meet along the way."

"Race ya!" a childlike tone escaped her as she let her fun side shine though her cool water-like personality.
Inhaling deeply she took to her river like speed darting through the trees and they blurred past her heading east, the wind lead her way to her destination. Leyna let her mane flow as she raced over hills through forests and over water on to Hoenn.

Nero grinned lightly and took off with speed on his side. He darted through trees, dodging with ease, and kept a decent pace. He wanted this race to result with him winning or at least in a draw.
