I'm writing a "book" for the first time and it's really the first time i've written something that wasn't for school. It's a fantasy about these fairies and they'd had a great war a long time ago and the main character is in love with her best friend...you know the usual but i've added a few twists like the best friend is gay and all the characters have some sort of secret. but i've come to a dead end in chapter 3. The group of 5 friends are at a pound and 2 of the friends are talking. from the pond i want them to start on a great adventure but i don't know what the adventure should be. Any ideas please?

Well maybe you could have the enemy of the faries attack the group of friends at the pond. Maybe kidnap one and then that friend ends up to have fairy blood line or something. And either begins turning into a fairy or is a rich blood heir next in line for the fairy throne.

Then they learn the magical world is dying and unless the friends get the 3(/how ever number you want) magically stones(/other item) all magical creatures will die and so will their friend.

Or i dont know. Think its good or something else you might have in mind?

i think its great. but it flows a little too quickly. one moment your talking about a ceremony then all of a sudden theres a guy. take your time and explain what this ceremony would give... if that makes sense

maybe the ponds magical or something have one fall in or something idk just ramble things through your head till there's something interesting that's what I do
