This is the obligatory introduction thread. Say hello to everyone. It's not hard but here's a template if you really need one:

My name is James, I'm 19, I've been smoking for 4 years, and I use a pipe to smoke out of the vast majority of the time.

I'm Littledreamer/Dreamer, but never little or IRL Valerie, I'm Drickt's girlfriend, I'm also 19, as of yesterday, and I guess I've been smoking for about a year and a half. I also tend to use a pipe, and I have, or used to have, a fairly high tolerance. I'm also a very responsible smoker, and although I'm not a noob I do like domos domokun

Um... I argue pro-legalization of drugs in those threads. I ride horses, I swing dance, I'm a raver. I don't do just pot. And I have snuck alcohol on my dry campus that looks like water. Oh, I also have a car that right now is leaking CO.

I'm Sara, I'm 18, and I've been smoking for about a year, although I've been around pot since I was a child.
Um, wow, I'm a real Young'un.
Ok, I'm a college student, I'm interested in biology and medicine, and hope to become a doctor (specifically a psychiatrist) one of these days, unless I find something else just as interesting. Sadly, the local college sucks, so I haven't been able to get any science courses.

4-5 years consuming marijuana.
I don't consume that often. 1 or 2 times a month. I prefer to eat weed, for the body high, but I won't say no to smoking.
I've been around pot, shrooms and LSD for most of my life because my parents are crazy new age hippies. My parents actually came up with a list of baby names when they were high on LSD, that's how I got the name Zinger. I'm amazed that my sister and I are not retarded.

8 or 9 years, on and off.
And um...I use a bunch of other drugs, but nothing regularly. Especially not lately, as I just got a job as a pharmacy technician and they'll probably give me random tests. Hopefully this fall I'll be in pharmacy school (yeeeah, I really like drugs...) Anyways, I love me some C. sativa and I've never met a drug I didn't like (much). And I'm a huge megalomaniac, so I'll probably think of more stuff to say about myself later. 4laugh

How long you've been smoking : I never was interested in drugs in High School I think I was about 26 when I started smoking and I had a good time getting high with friends on the weekend. Now I only really have one pothead friend who lives 2 hours drive away so I don't often smoke for fun. I use marijuana medicinally. A couple times a month I use it for one of my various "problems". Most of the time it is anxiety. I have depression and anxiety disorder with panic attacks. Marijuana does a great instant job (although I need to learn my species, etc. because some works and some doesn't) and I believe that it is far safer than the benzodiazepenes (like Valium) which I DO have a legal prescription too. Also it makes me happy as well as calming me. I also use it for stomach aches, migraines, insomnia, and sometimes even just for fun. My husband used to do drugs in high school and early college. But by the time I started getting into it, he wasn't really interested anymore. I think I've seen him smoke a total of 3 or 4 times in the last 6 years. But there are definitely times when I'm freaking out that he says, "Go smoke some pot, I need you to feel better".
I am also a drug policy activist. I would love for all drugs to be legal and all people to learn the truth about the drugs they or their friends encounter, instead of the exaggerated scare tactics that the government, schools, and some churches give us. I am a big fan of harm reduction. Some people may choose to smoke pot, so they should know that the more they can filter it, the less the smoke can hurt their lungs. They should know about vaporizers in case they want to get high without any smoke. If people choose to shoot up, they should know about the possibility of AIDS through sharing needles and where the nearest needle exchange is. If people want to do Ecstacy, they should know that there are places they can buy test kits so that before they do it, they can find out if they really have pure ecstacy, and they should know the importance of drinking water and cooling off. If peo-le choose to drink, they should know the dangers of drunk driving and that they can each get their own personal breathalyzer on the internet for as little as $10.
Okay, I'm soapboxing I guess. Right now New Mexico is trying to pass a medical marijuana law (for the 6th or 7th time I think?) before the session ends at the end of February. It just got tabled by a committee I feel it has no business in, so we are trying to put pressure on the Representatives to support it and bring it out on the House floor. It has already passed the Senate, like it did last year.
What else? Oh, I have the most gorgeous 2 year old daughter in the world! You'll probably hear me talking about her a lot, and she might type on one of my messages sometime.

How long you've been smoking I have been smoking for the last five years but In reality I have had pot in my system sence the day I was born and from the size of my belly I've had the munchies ever sence....yes I have really self abusive humor but don't worry there is some left for everyone else... I am a very active participent in the all too common ritual of my friends to have the philosphical conversation while we are stoned and actually record it....very often we make no sence but so goes life... I love to have active conversations with you all and maybe have a few good laughs together...

How long: Not long, since about last November. I still consider myself a bit of a newbie when it comes to pot, but any info/tips are absorbed readily lol.
I don't use any other drugs besides pot...
I live in England, so yes I have that funny accent thing going on.

My name's Kayla, and I'm 17 years of age. I've been smoking pot since about the end of May 2005, though I didn't become a regular smoker until just a few months ago. I've always had a certain love for things other than pot, like Adderall (for a longggg time), writing fan-fic's (not of anime or anything, just random series of books like Animorphs when I was a few years younger. Go ahead, call me lame!), music (listening and writing), and just gaining new perspectives on everything through the use of herbs, meditation, and other substances. I smoke pipe tobacco because it's so much cheaper than ciggarettes and has such a wonderful taste (depending on what kinds you buy), but I still have a love for Menthol's. I puke at the smell of vodka because of a hangover I had which ultimately ended with me discontinuing the downing of nearly any alcoholic beverage (makes me want to hurl no matter how small the amount). Another interest of mine I hold dearly is learning about the BDSM lifestyle. I ultimately yearn for a 24/7 true M/s relationship. I've thrown around the idea of becoming an erotic author, or just an author in general. It's one thing I believe I have some talent in. Another one of my aspirations is to become a Computer Programmer, as computers are just something I've always dealt well with. I've taken part of a College IT course provided by my High School, but I was f'n stupid as all hell and dropped out when I moved away from my parent's house the first time at 17. I admit it was stupid, and as I'm re-enrolled in a different high school program at my school. It's called GED option, in which I take the GED test, and, granted I pass, recieve my high school diploma. It's almost like a 2nd chance at life. I may get to return next year, granted the college will allow it. As I stated before, I enjoy many types of music, and I help set up local shows. If any of you live around the St. Louis area, come to some of our shows! My production company is known as "Vengence", and I previously worked with "Broken Hearts Productions" and I'm currently also work with "Sick Ent". Both projects are going very nicely in my opinion. The local scene is a big part of my life, and the Creepy Crawl is my favorite place on earth! Sorry I'm ranting, but Adderall makes you want to I suppose, and currently I'm buzzed as all hell off of it. I think that's all I've got to say, though, so Au Revoir!

Age: Sixteen. I think I am one of the youngest ones here...
How long I have been smoking: Since sixth grade... So I was around eleven or twelve years old at the time? Yeah, I think that's about right.
I'll add more later on, I have to leave for the moment.
Edited to Add: I'm currently a Sophmore in Highschool, and next year I will be participating in a Computer Repair and Networking program at a local career college while going to highschool. It's not that I want a career in that feild(hell no, people only call in for repairs when they are irritated and frustrated), it's just that my recent obsession in in robotics and I want to learn more for myself. I'll probably get a career in Arachology or the like; not certain.
