The Dark Brotherhood is hands-down the best faction in Oblivion. The great writing and well-designed missions really made me feel like an assassin, my two favorites of which being The Purification and Whodunit?. Having to kill my entire sanctuary was a very nice twist, and Whodunit? was simply very entertaining.
By the way, since I couldn't put them individually since they're were too many, please post and specify your favorite quest.

The Purification, Whodunit, and Next of Kin are my favorite Dark Brotherhood quests. Whodunit is hands down my favorite of the list, getting the others members of the house to kill each other off while I sat back and watched it all happen. smile

Whodunit was my favorite, as well as the Draconis Family quest. Killing the mother then going up to her children and telling them "She bleed like a pig", and having them attack you, and the moment they hit you, suddendly Guards....thousands of them, appeared to kill the family member. Ah, good times.

I hated having to kill the sanctuary... I was so emotionally attached to them all... I did enjoy the quest when i picked up the mother persons head. I carried that around forever. That and the last quest

OH GOD! My favorite quest in the WHOLE GAME was Whodunnit!

It was just like those old slasher movies!

The last three people were me, the Dunmer girl, and the Redguard. The Dunmer thought that I couldn't possibly be the killer (teehee! whee ) and was convinced it was the Redguard! We killed him together and she says "It's over!" Then she bends down to check the Redguard's corpse and I'm standing behind her with The Ebony Blade drawn!!! xd

Oh, just remembering that... Nothing could be more perfect... mrgreen

Whodunit, hands down the most fun quest.

I like to save the Dunmer chick and the Imperial guy for last and see what happens.

Whodunit?, obviously. From a writing perspective it's a goldmine. So many interesting possibilities...and I don't even like mysteries.

Also probably Following A Lead. I'd start that quest and then use the brush of truepaint that I stole (I'm a thief! Come on, you'd so do it too) from that other guy whose name is a blank to me, and rewrite that whole quest.

Basically to where I save Lucien and have a fun old time slaughtering the rest of the Dark Brotherhood. Starting with Arquen. Never liked those fancy high elf types.

And then I'd be happy and not all sadface at the end of the DB questline.
And now I'll quit rambling ninja

You know, I was just wondering... What would happen if you used that paint brush on one of the Elder Scrolls?
