Hey, there! I am very, very new to the whole lolita thing, I don;t own anything yet. The reason I do not own anything yet is because I am plus sized. Basically I'm gigantic. I was wondering where all the plus sized lolitas shop? I know of fanplusfriend, but there has to be some other places, although my googlefu isn't yielding any results.

Well, I'm not a plus-sized lolita, but I know of some different places you can shop for larger sized dresses.

Baby, The Stars Shine Bright: Surprisingly, you can find lots of dresses that will fit plus-sized girls from BTSSB. It just takes time to look. Full-shirring is your best friend, especially if you have a larger chest. I've seen many bigger girls that own lots of their dresses.

Bodyline: They have a huge range of styles and sizes for you to choose from on their website. I think it runs anywhere from XS to XXXL, if I'm not mistaken.

Closet Child: It's basically a resale lolita store and website. You can find gently used clothes from them for cheaper and sometimes bigger, as well.

This is also a wonderful article that can help you find what kind of dresses and styles that fit you most for your size: http://ptlolita.blogspot.com/2010/01/tips-for-plus-size-lolita.html

If all else fails, you could try commissioning someone to make you a dress. There are many extremely talented seamstresses out there that would love to make you your dress dress.
I hope this helped! ♥

You should learn to make your clothing. When other people see that you make your own clothing they'll respect that. Also, this way you can let your creative spark flow even more.

It's not really hard to sew up a skirt, blouse and petticoat according to my mom. Also, there are plenty of places you can buy form that'll make custom sized Lolita clothing for you. Just bing or google it and even better try looking at a place called Etsy.
