Discussion thread about the new arrival in Dynasty Warriors 7 : JIIIN~!!
Lead by Sima Yi, Jin is the new dynasty which succeded Wei and went on to unifying China in 280. The Characters List is :
-Sima Yi (self explanatory) -Sima Shi (eldest son) -Sima Zhao (youngest son) -Wang Yuanji (Zhao's wife) -Zhuge Dan (Kongming's cousin, later betrayed Jin) -Deng Ai -Zhong Hui - and finally Xiahou Ba (Yuan's son, betrayed Jin and joined Shu)
Honestly looks like a later Wei to me! Some of these guys betrayed Jin (Xiahou Ba, Zhuge Dan, Zhong Hui) Disappointed Wen Yang or Sima Yan weren't in.

TERRIBLE idea.
There was no Jin until the very end. I like the characters and story though :3
I don't remember Deng Ai betraying Wei and Xiahou Ba in... Jin... seriously WHAT THE EFF???
Now we have 4 kingdoms...?

Finished the story so I can clarify several things. We actually never get to play Jin. Jin's more like Sima Wei or Later Wei. So no odd ones out in there. The name "Jin" for this faction surely bothers some but Wei would be overpacked if they were combined. XP Otherwise, Deng Ai's still loyally serving the Wei Banner and... Xiahou Ba left for Shu in the beginning of their story mode. So yup. 4 kingdoms.

Eh, yes and no. Jin was more of a province, if I remember correctly. Not it's own kingdom, since it was Sima's little world, and he was still under Wei.
At the same time, though, when Jin was formed, Wei had already fallen due to Cao Cao being dead. More safe to say that Wei changed names.

Well Jin, Shu, Wu and Wei are all provinces at first. But it then grew into a kingdom but that was beetween the fall of Shu in 264 and the fall of Wu in 280. But the story of DW7 ends in 264 (the fall of Wu was shown in the ending cinematic and also Sima Yan's coup.) But it's safe to say Wei ended about the time of Cao Rui (Both Cao Cao and Cao Pi died.)
