Anyone been to any good shows lately? I saw my favorite band, Dreadful Children, last night. I got to punch a guy that ******** with my boyfriends sister, and a guy that always gives me s**t (I swear, I'm not violent!).I'm still having some trouble hearing, but it's alright. The show was ******** awesome. It was at this small club, owned by the DC singer, Lonny Bristle, who used to be in Bristle. It was a tiny place, but very cool. People brought their dogs, and one guy brought a huge ******** pot of pasta. Overall, fun times. Has anyone here been to any good shows lately?

haven't been to any recently. but i see some good shows in my future. adicts on march 4th and subhumans/mdc in april. been going to less shows lately because of all the bullshit like security and the "NO STAGEDIVING"

Just got back from an Oh s**t They're Going To Kill Us show. It was pretty good, but I missed the opening band.
I'm seeing the Subhumans too! Can't wait.

Off With Their Heads and Less Than Jake four weeks ago. Murder By Death last week. Both of them were pretty good shows. Except for one of the openers at Less Than Jake and Off With Their Heads that was a just piss poor generic reggae / ska band that had no originality.

supposedly blackbird raum is playing in march on the 23rd i think in san diego lookin foward to that other then that theres not much

Dr Suicide93 haven't been to any recently. but i see some good shows in my future. adicts on march 4th and subhumans/mdc in april. been going to less shows lately because of all the bullshit like security and the "NO STAGEDIVING" That's why you go to the locally owned places. The one I went to was full of booze and cigarettes. No security or anything. The place is owned by one of the most highly respected punks in the area. The dude's amazing. He's very accepting. I'm always the youngest one there, and I get s**t for it. But he talked and danced with me. Cool guy.

^ i guess it depends where you are. i mean, i'm in orange county, one of the birthplaces of punk, so you'd think there'd be cool places but no. this one place called the riff haus used to be good until recently. i know some one who is security there but he'd still throw me out.

Dr Suicide93 ^ i guess it depends where you are. i mean, i'm in orange county, one of the birthplaces of punk, so you'd think there'd be cool places but no. this one place called the riff haus used to be good until recently. i know some one who is security there but he'd still throw me out. Ah, that sucks. Just keep looking around. Look for house shows, too.

I have half a mind to go to the Last Supper tour, but I'm on the fence about it.
Pros of going: this probably will be the last time any semblance of Crass goes on tour and I'd really like to be able to have seen them (even if it's just Steve).
Cons of going: Some of the videos I've seen of the tour so far are just...not Crass. At all. It looks nothing like the footage of Crass I have seen or like other punk shows I've been to.
It's Steve Ignorant in a polo shirt and a light show.
Also, I'd have to hoof it over to Chicago.
Any of ya'll going?

I have yet to find anywhere worth going to within reasonable biking distance in the North Hollywood area. Yes, biking, as in on a bicycle cuz my car is back home in Jersey. I got to see my pals The Sex Zombies play New Year's Eve when I was home for Christmas Break and that was an okay show. Other than that, none. Can't wait till summer though, gonna ******** rock. Hopefully in time for the annual Angry Drunk Graphics BBQ Show. Also going to be doing a few new projects myself so hopefully those will be up and running ASAP.

I'm working on setting up a show for a tolerance benefit. I've got tons of bands that want to play, but no money to rent the venue or equipment.

Find a small bar or recreation hall that has their own house PA and mics, and you're set. Try like a Moose Lodge.
