// You start here. For whatever reason, you come to the Reversed shop. Perhaps you heard something, saw something, or just wanted a meal. Whatever the reason, to set the scene, I require every character for a week, at most, to post in here to learn about what's going on before you break off into your own roleplays. You don't have to wait for that week to be up before you wander off. So long as you have some sort of idea, no matter how small. After a while, I'll deem enough people having an idea of the situation and close this. When it will, yes. Count as a ORP.

⊞ k o r i Kori exhaled a soft sigh of relief as he finally came through the door of his favourite soup shop, his thick head of brown locks shifted every which way in disarray. Even the large pair of furry ears at the top of either side of his head sagged slightly in his emotional fatigue. For such an enjoyable place, did it have to be located through a labyrinth of dark, scary alleyways? He had certainly learned that the further away you kept yourself from potential danger, the better the chances were that you weren't going to get hurt. The Minccino didn't have much in the way of fighting abilities to defend himself from, well, anything.
Considering the chaos that was the laboratories at the moment, that was another one of those places Kori would rather avoid. It was hard to avoid the rumors flying about in the corridors... they were far too much for the young boy's fluffy, little head to worry about this moment. Not something he wanted to sift through the facts from the lies just yet. Majority of the rumors consisted of a powerful Pokémon wishing for vengeance and, 93.6% of the time, that never lead to anything good. So Kori chose to do his studying at Reversed and dodge those realities for the time being. He enjoyed the environment so much here as he could read his books in peace and enjoy the smell of rich soup coming from the kitchen.
With his gaze dropped to the floor, quietly as a Rattata, Kori quickly hurried over to his favourite little table in the back with his fluffy tail swaying anxiously behind him. It was normal for the awkward boy to avoid sitting too close to the other customers or spend his entire evening alone, fixated on whatever subject had caught his attention this time. Soon enough, his table was covered in books and stray pieces of paper. Some of the texts were more recent than others, a few with their bindings beginning to give way after so many years. Withdrawing a small pencil and his green notebook from his book bag, Kori began to scan through the reading, his large, brown eyes wavering very little on each page before moving onto the next, jotting down a couple words of text every other paragraph. Occasionally, his ears perked in the direction of conversation, subtly eavesdropping from his quiet corner.
Every time I get stuck, the words won't fit! Cause every time that I try, I get tongue-tied! Need a little good luck to get me by...

It had only been a few hours since her encounter with the strange purple Pokemon in the ruins of a mysterious lab. It still sent shivers down Prisca's spine. It was strange. Not just the Pokemon itself, but the fact a lab had been nearly in her own backyard and she didn't even know. Not that she took to the skies enough to see it in the distance. It must have been hidden before it was blown up. Somebody must have seen it, otherwise.
Banishing the thought momentarily from her mind, the Mewtwo sighed and opened the door to the Reversed shop. She felt she should come here, first. This was the gathering ground of others like her. Others who were once Pokemon. Something about this place changed them. And made them come back to seek others in the same situation. She couldn't trust the humans to know about the situation with the strange Pokemon. She wanted to enlist the help of her brethren. It there was more time, she would have set up fliers. As it was, who knew the damage that thing would wreck in the time before she could locate it. Although...
Reaching into her purse as she came near the middle of the shop, Prisca pulled out a device. This had been laying on the ground near where the journal had dropped. Amazing it hadn't been destroyed. Once turned on, it revealed a blinking dot on what looked like a small map of the Region they resided in. What exactly had those people been planning on using that Pokemon for?
Ignoring everyone else, the woman strolled straight up to the counter, turning her back to lean against it. She was too distressed to sit. How should she begin to find people to help with this matter? And what exactly should they do about it? So many questions. So few answers. There was only one person Prisca felt she could turn to. But she wouldn't. If he didn't already know about this, it was best kept that way.

Something managed to lure Kori's attentions away from the words in front of him and startle his thought process. Not the occasional customer who entered, but something else. A sharp frequency began to hover in the air from towards the center of the soup shop. The source of the nearly silent buzz was a portable, hand-held device, something far out of it's rightful place. Kori tilted his head to the side, curious as to why it was here of all places. The woman holding it didn't look like one of the lab technicians; the only people who should've been in possession of the device. If it was the device he thought it was. He would have to have a closer look at it to find out.
Against the fluffy Pokemon's nature (for the sake of others, he assured himself mentally), Kori snapped his pencil in two, feigning a small pout of disappointment before leaving his small sanctuary and approaching the counter where the woman idly loitered. Still keeping a good foot or two of space between himself and the woman, he peeked out of the corner of his eyes at the device once again and examined it quietly for similarities. Hopefully, the woman wouldn't murder him. The chances of that were unnervingly high judging from body language, demeanor, and, most importantly, species.

A pair of beige fuzzy ears rose into view over the edge of the table where Kori's papers remained, followed closely by a tangle of chocolate brown hair, the locks falling in cascades around a pair of small shoulders. Curious emerald green eyes blinked at the papers and such scattered over the table, then tracked towards the figure that had just vacated the space. Darn! She was going to ask him what all the papers were for, but he up and left!
Pouting, the little girl plopped onto the floor, cross-legged and crossing her arms over her chest in the same movement. Man, it got boring here in the soup shop when no one was around...then people showed up, and no one wanted to play with her! How lame.
Glancing up, the little Ninetales girl shrugged and climbed back to her feet. No sense staying down there where it was boring. She climbed into the vacated chair, and leaned out over the table on her hands, pouring over the papers curiously, but with little comprehension. Still, that wouldn't stop her from looking.
---
Eliana watched the adult pair from the shadows, choosing to ignore the Ninetales child for now. She wasn't in the mood for fighting at the moment, not when something much more interesting seemed to be unfolding. The Sneasel child narrowed her eyes, sharp senses focused on what the adults were saying, what their posture said...there was a lot of tension there, must be something important.
Finishing off the candied apple slices she'd been nibbling, she attempted to slip closer, keeping the counter at her back and staying out of sight for the most part. She noticed that people didn't usually pay much attention to kids; all the better for her. The adult female seemed preoccupied with some kind of box thing in her hands...what the device did, Eliana couldn't be sure, but if she was so interested in it, then perhaps it would be better to belong in the Sneasel's hands?

Long over night shift at the hospital had been ever so long. With one of the children needing emergency surgery the previous day, she'd been in critical care the entire night and Net had been the one put on duty to keep an eye out on her. Not that she minded, she worked at the Children's wing of the hospital for a reason. It had just thrown her schedule off a bit was all.
Giving a deep sigh as she reached Reversed, a pale hand reached out to open the door into the soup shop. She was absolutely starving by the time she left the hospital, having not really stopped to munch on much of anything through the night, and so figured she'd stop by here on the way home. Because there was no way she felt like cooking.
Hovering inside, bright blue eyes glanced around curiously it seemed only slightly busy today. Not necessarily weird, but there was an odd tension hovering around some one and it made her tail twitch a bit. Setting it aside for now, she moved for the counter in hopes of getting something into her stomach.
In doing so she passed a mewtwo with a strange device and she paused a moment to look at the clone. She knew there was at least one in the city, maybe two, but... This had to be the first time she'd actually seen one up close. Her ears twitched as her head titled, wondering what the pokehume was playing with. It was quickly forgotten as her stomach rumbled angrily, feed me!, and she glanced away for the menu.

Movement went on around her. She chose to ignore it. Her purple eyes stayed transfixed on the machine in her hands. It seemed to be off in the desert. Nearly in the middle, in fact. The last time she had seen it, it had been chasing something in the sky. Something wit two tails that shone like rubies. Someone living in the desert, maybe? Could be another Pokemon. Could even possibly be another PokeHuman.
When the Mew passed her, she looked up. In her distraction, she misjudged the signal coming off it and quickly stuffed the device back in her purse. She sighed in relief upon seeing it not only wasn't who she thought it was, it wasn't even the same gender. Under any normal circumstance, she would be intrigued with finding a Mew in her presence. Today, however, there was something more serious on her mind.
Her gaze switched to the voice directed at her.
"I found something," was her reply, the distress over this find plain as day on her face. "Deep in the forest to the east of the city. There was a lab out there. And something escaped shortly before I found it."

⊞ k o r i As the woman tucked the device back into her purse, Kori shuddered softly before turning back towards his table, his thoughts racing much faster than his feet. Even feigning urgency about his broken pencil was no longer a priority. The brief amount of time he spent analysing the device had been enough; it was the device he had remembered from before.
No, the Minccino couldn't tell her what that device was linked to. He couldn't tell anyone outside of the lab technicians. How would he possibly go about getting the device out of her hands without warning her about the foreboding dangers linked to it? It was best for him to tell someone the moment he got back to his lab that whatever coverup they had been going about using to disguise the mess clearly was not working. Oh, this shouldn't be something troubling the weaker likes of him...
Trying to force his mind back to focusing on what he had been studying, Kori reached out to draw his own chair forward and found (too lost in his thoughts to have noticed previously) a young child occupying his seat. Despite the general assumption that children were nothing to be startled about, Kori jumped back a good couple feet, releasing a small squeak as his lank form shook from the shock. "H-H-H-H-Hello?" Kori managed to stammer with his large, brown eyes focused on the emerald pair below him, body still tense with fright.

Aurora bit her lower lip as she came upon the restaurant. She could feel that something was up something bad but she just did not know what but she bet her shop some one in side there would know what was going on. Aurora opened the door and walked in to the restaurant. There were a few people in there nothing to worry... before she could finish her though she felt the presence of Prisca who happened to be a Mewtwo. Aurora wanted to fly out the door and escape the clone but she remembered why she was there. That something bad has happened feeling that always seemed to feel when she was around Mewtwo. May be she was behind it. No that did not seem right she seemed less scary than the other mewtwo she had ran into. She seemed to be worried about what had happened. She must know something Aurora guessed by Prisca body language. Aurora flew over to Prisca when she noticed another Mew again very odd. she was not paying attention to were she was going and hit Prisca. "Ack Sorry I did not mean to hit you are you ok." Aurora looked up at Prisca and dropped to the floor. "Please do not kill me and." She said covering her ears with her hands.

Flint busied himself cleaning tables and bringing peoples food out to them. He usually tried to ignore the happenings in the shop and concentrate on his job, but today that didn't seem possible. Their was an air of foreboding in the shop, and it seemed to originate from the Mewtwo woman near the counter.
As he worked he kept his eyes and ears open, hoping to pick up something about her, why she was here, and why there was such an ominous feeling comeing from her. Was she in danger? Was she dangerous herself? he asked himself as his mind began to wander before forceing himself to snap back to reality, he wouldn't find out anything if he continued to space out
A'ala lounged on a chair in one corner of the shop, it amused her to see her brother have to work so hard, and it amused her even further when he messed up or dropped something. Slowly she became bored with watching her brother and her attention began to drift, She noticed the group of pokehumans standing near the counter and became curious. Silently she slipped out of her chair and nonchalantly walked closer acting like she planned to order something.
She scowled in disgust as she witnessed a Mew act fearfully towards the Mewtwo, she couldn't stand it when people openly showed weakness. She stepped to the side and, ignoring the mew on the ground, began to fake looking over a menu while eavesdropping on whatever conversation was going on.
Rush scowled as he pushed open the door and saw the place full of other pokehumans, granted, they were better company than humans, but still, he would have preferred the place be empty. With a heavy sigh he walked into the shop and leaned against a wall, his whip-like tails flicking back and forth. He would have gone to get a cup of tea, but there were far too many people around the counter for his likeing, he would wait. He leaned his head back against the wall and closed his eyes, absorbing all the conversations going on. He liked to listen, just in case there was something said that might interest him.

Samantha seemed genuinely confused for a moment. What was wrong? Oh, perhaps she'd just surprised the poor man; he did seem a bit distracted. Putting on an apologetic smile, the child turned from the table, still standing on the chair, and offered her hand as she'd been taught was polite.
"Hi! I'm Samantha! What's your name? And what are all these papers for?" Ah the curiosity of youth, quick and to the point, while still jumping wildly from topic to topic at the speed of thought.
Unfortunately, along with her curiosity and rapid-fire questions, she forgot to mind her tails, now swishing eagerly from side to side...and sweeping the papers from the table. The brush of something against the fur of her tails caught her attention, however, and her eyes widened in realization. She looked over her shoulder to see the damage done and let out a soft sound of alarm. "Eep! Oh, I'm sorry! Here, let me get those!" She bounded down from the chair, dropping to her hands and knees to start gathering up the papers. She stacked them in her arms, no idea how to organize them, but thinking only of getting them safely back upon the table first. It looked like a crawling mass of tails and chocolate brown hair, with a couple ears sticking out the top.--- Eliana snorted softly to herself, mildly amused by the klutz across the room. Anyway, more important matters and all that. Her attention was back on the woman in the dress with the device. In the forest? Some sort of lab? How...interesting.
A distinctly feline sort of grin crossed her face, and she rubbed her chin thoughtfully. There could be good money in things like that. Say, money from the lab's owners? Or other not-so-legitimate parties...Eliana didn't care. The point was, if she played her cards right, she could have multiple parties offering bids for such a thing.
Honestly, Eliana could care less what the thing did. Why would she care about a blinking box? What was important was what sort of power and gain she could trade the thing for to someone who actually wanted it.
The problem now was getting it away from the woman. Eliana hissed softly as the device was shoved away into the woman's purse...that could make this easier or harder, depending.
Now, how were her pocket picking skills?--- There was a soft trill of alarm, then a small Pidgeot child seemed to appear at the fallen female's side. "Oh dear, are you okay, miss?" Celeste tilted her head, looking down at the female, clutching her ears and murmuring for someone not to kill her. The child looked between the female on the floor, then the larger female that she'd bumped into standing nearby.
Then she patted the fallen one's back, cooing in a gentle voice, "Don't worry, dear. No one's going to hurt you here. Accidents happen, and we're all friends, right?" she questioned, looking between both parties. The child seemed to exude the presence of one much older than her years, or at least more mature. Her wings were folded delicately at her back, and her eyes, while sharp, were also quite kind.
"Would you like some tea, maybe? I'm sure some of us could use a little tea to calm the nerves, hmm?" She could sense the tension in the room, and she didn't need her Pokemon instincts to do it. Celeste was sure that everyone could feel it, as they all seemed to be a bit...shaken at best. Best try to diffuse tensions and get everyone to sit down and talk together if there was business to handle.

The Mewtwo, equally, wasn't watching what was happening in front of her. Her purple gaze was fixed on Pierre. The most attention he'd likely ever get from her. As nice as she seemed, she held other people in little regards. No matter how nice they were to her. It would take more than a few months of kindness to change her tune about you.
When Prisca was bumped into, the woman's Pokemon instincts kicked in. But, instead of attacking like other Mewtwo would do, she Teleported behind the counter, to put something large and heavy between her and whoever had hit her. Upon seeing there was indeed no threat, she walked back out from behind to stand a few feet to one side of the Persian, looking down at the Mew on the floor.
"I see my species continues to give me justice," she sighed, really not in the mood to deal with such things while that stray Pokemon could be causing havoc somewhere. If she knew experiments-and she felt pretty confident she did, being one herself-she knew it would be likely to go on a rampage. Much like her own species was known for.
Glancing at the child at the female Mew's side, she ignored her DNA's drive to also help the young woman. She had help. Prisca wasn't needed. The foolish human DNA wouldn't make her careless.
"There is little time for relaxing over tea," she added. Sighing, again, she moved away from the group to sit at a nearby table. "But I suppose you can't feel it." The jewelry didn't expect them to. It was an experiment. Like her. She had better senses for these kinds of things.

Despite wanting to focus on food, because she was starving she really was, there were too many people about and it was distracting. Why? Because she wanted to talk with all of them
A social creature, she was drawn to groups of people and focused better when she was around more then just herself. And thus she gave up on food for now, pulling out the last of her cereal bars from the pocket of her nurse's scrubs, and turned to see just what was going on. Something had to be, judging by the little bit of conversation she'd heard between the mewtwo and the persian.
Even if she didn't know what was going on her head tilted a bit, which made her uneven short hair fall into her face a bit, she blinked and butted in just a little bit. "Is there anything I can do to help?" She liked helping.

⊞ k o r i Kori's eyes widened further in alarm as his papers, for the umpteenth time this week, went scattering all over the floor. Before he could dive to gather them himself, the young Ninetails already took upon the task herself. It had still been a genuine act of consideration, despite how the problem had begun in the first place. Kori offered the young girl a sheepish smile, a soft crimson staining his pale cheeks. No harm done, he supposed. He now had so much experience at sorting papers it could probably be considered an art form.
"T-Thank you." Kori shifted the one pile of papers into three somewhat even stacks. After a few seconds, the papers were placed into several other piles by headings and varied page numbers. Recalling the young girl's question, he began to speak while he shifted pages into proper order. "These p-papers are f-for some projects I h-happen to b-be working on. I s-spend a lot of t-time looking t-them all." It finally dawned on him that the girl still didn't know who he was. "O-Oh." He chuckled nervously, running his hand back through his hair as he looked away from the organizing, "I-I is a K-Kori. I-I m-mean, I-I'm a K-Kori. I-I'm Kori. Kori." He looked about at his previous seat before asking, "D-Do y-you want to s-sit here? I-I could t-take the other c-chair, if y-you want." He nodded towards the chair on the opposing side of the table.
