I really got into anime in 1995 with Sailor Moon. I later became a huge Fushigi Yuugi fan. Gravitation holds a special place in my heart because it was really the first non-girly kind of anime that I watched. It just had some kick-butt music. The story wound up being really funny too. Gravitation got me into watching shounen-ai and yaoi series because I realized that some of them actually do have good stories and not just about the lust.
While Gravitation doesn't make my top 10 fave anime, (I know - for shame
sweatdrop ), I still love it dearly. I pull out my DVDs at least once a year to rewatch it whenever I need a good laugh.
aww yay i liked sailor moon and Fushigi yuugi too..though i didn't like the ending and i stopped watching/reading it.. (i skipped to the end) ..i just really loved Chichiri and his voice--and lucky, his voice actor was in gravitation too!
gravi was the first shounen ai i read too! it got me really into that genre for a while! --i like a lot of different series, but only a few turn into a giant life changing fandom for me XD lol, gravi was one
