Well I cleaned up my room today and found an old journal I kept when I was nine. This story was in there so I said what the hay!
A little girl stared down at her father, laying in the big wooden box. 'Why won't you wak up daddy? You promised you'd always be there for me. Why won't you wake up?' She thought as she stared at him. She wanted him to wake up from his rest so he could bring her to the fair. 'Please daddy? It's noon. You have to wake up so we can go!' She willed him to wake up. He never moved though. She saw everyone crying and walked up to her mother. "Mommy why is everyone so sad?" She asked her mother. "Your father is dead." She replies to the little girl. "What is dead?" She asks her mommy. "It's when someone sleeps forever and never wakes up. They leave their body with us and live with God for the rest of their lives."Her mother says softly. "But daddy will wake up! He promised he would always be here! He promised to take me to the fair!" The little girl says stubbornly. "I know he promised you many things, but God wanted daddy to go live with him." Her mother says. "But that's not fair!" The little girl yells. "Shhh one day you will sleep like daddy and he'll take you to the fair as many times you want." Her mother says as tears fall down her face, "But daddy will never leave your heart. He will always be with you." The little girl nods at her mothers words.

Yeah, I never really wanted to add to it because it's a special story. I wanted to keep it the way it was, but I might add on sometime. And thanks. ^.^

Thats pretty dang amazing for a nine year old. WHen I was nine I wrote stuff like "The clown was scared uv the cat."

I used to write when i was 9 as well but they were horror stories xD

Hey. I was hired by the captain to bump up some of the threads in the subforums. He doesn't want them to be too empty. There are other thread bumpers, too! smile

Oh, and i liked that alot! That's really good for a 9 yr. old!

Thanks everyone. I was surprised at how good it was too, when I found it. But I got my feelings out like that for once and it really helped. I put all of my feelings into words on paper ^.^

wow that's pretty good for when you wrote that at nine I wish I hadn't thrown out the stuff I wrote when I was that age
