Setting; Chocobo ranch Open to;
Nyow finished hooking the light leather armor onto Wakhakwi and hopped on board. She was supposed to be going out seeking greens - Gyshal Greens to be exact. Their farm crop had run out but off by the swamp there were more. Of course, there was a Midgar Zolem there too, and so she had been promised help in seeking out the greens. She patted her bird as he kwehed softly. She just hoped the wait wouldn't be long.

Carrying her owner with no difficulty, Rÿssha easily wandered over the lands and had done so since early that day. On her back, a rather lazy figure could be seen as his hat-clad head bobbed from side to side along with her walking. But the brightly coloured 'bo stopped suddenly, making her owner slip out of his seat and fall down on the ground in a mess. She laughed at him in her own way, a snickerish kwehing at Faust on the ground.
The man, waking up with that, swiftly sat up and looked around. Green eyes still blurred by sleep, looked over the land around them, then looked back up at Rÿssha -wondering why she'd stopped to wake him like that. Not that the chocobo cared much for her owners' confusion; she was buisy studying another chocobo over yonder; a brown spotted one with a rider perched on top.

Nyow looked up from her gear check at the other pair. Was this supposed to be her help? She had never seen the pink bird before, nor had she ever seen the rider... And it was a bit of a suprise. "Maybe they're new?" She muttered to Wakhakwi. The male bird was acting much like a cat and firmly paying attention only to himself, preening his feathers. Then the rider collapsed off of his bird. "Oh no.." Nyow said, leaping upon Wakhakwi. Was he hurt or something? A wounded traveler? It wasn't until the pair were half-way across the distance that the rider was perfectly fine, and had simply fallen off from a lack of skill. 'Well...,' the blonde thought, 'I suppose I'm most of the way there already. Might as well keep going.' Nyow rode up to the other pair, sitting tall on Wakhakwi's back. "Are you okay, mister?" She asked the fallen man.

Scrambling up from the ground ever so slowly, the blond looked over to the other pair approaching, blinking sleepishly at them. "Oh, no- no i'm fine, just Rÿssha my dear decided it was time to wake up i suppose." He replied, voice a bit dry from his sleep and he turned to his chocobo, looking up at her. The pink bird was still buisy tending to her own business though, promptly ignoring her owner while tending to her feathers. -Climbing back up again, Faust perched himself on the back of the tall bird, smiling towards the other rider "She's so warm and soft -y'know, all fluffy like... It's easy to fall asleep, don't you think?" That said, Faust also rode without a saddle of any kind, just the reigns. Not that he missed a saddle though, he could easily do without.
Blinking to the stranger, he offered her a curious smile "You on the way to somewhere?" He wondered, tilting his head softly while studying the other two.

Wakhakwi stared at Ryssha as his ears picked up the huma's words. Fluffy and soft? The pink bird did seem to be fluffy, but also tough as nails. He turned and chirped at his owner. Nyow was unimpressed with the pair, however. She snorted with disdain as the man - Faust was it? - climbed back onto his bird. "Well," she said "I was supposed to be leaving for the forest to gather greens, but I was also suposed to have backup. Looks like they're either taking thier time getting here or didn't bother to show up today, though."

Faust was still pretty merry, despite having fallen off his mount, though this other rider didn't seem to be quite in the same mood. Looking around them, as if expecting to see the people not there, Faust then turned back towards the girl -or woman- with a light shrug of his shoulders "You in a hurry then? -Need backup to travel through a forest... i could help, if you wouldn't mind, i'm not really on the way to anywhere any way." He told her with a light grin- though it was hidden behind the mask worn over half of his face. -Once he had offered his assist though, Faust blinked, and knocked his head easily with one of his hands "Oh, pardon- my bad, Faust's the name, and this is Rÿssha, what might be yours?" He introduced himself, having forgotten to introduce himself until that point.
And while Faust was buisy with the common pleasantries, Rÿssha was growing bored of just standing there. Her feathers had been preened, the weight was back on her again, so now she wanted to move before her feet grew into the ground and she'd be stuck in there forever. So without waiting for her master to finish conversation, the chocobo resumed her easy stride, wings shifting where Faust had ruffled her feathers slightly while getting up. But Faust wasn't quite done yet with the two they had found, and he softly petted Rÿssha "There, there, be a dear now and don't wander off like that." He asked of her, not expecting the bird to understand entirely, but it was enough to make Rÿssha stop. -And kweh irritatedly and boredly.

((OOC:Whoops, my bad. Forgot that he had't introduced himself. XD))
Nyow gave a bit of a wry smile at the man. "Well a pleasure to meet you I am quite sure." she said with a smirk. "Most folks call me Nyow. And this is Wakhakwi. He's a bit of a goof so please pay no mind. I was supposed to be out of here some time ago but was trying to wait. If you'd be willing to tag along we'd be happy to have you." she said politely. Wakhakwi was also getting bored. He tilted his head and as soon as he heard her statement of inviting he warked at Ryssha - an invite of his own. He wanted to run. It wasn't a long distance to where they were going but it was long enough to really stretch his legs. He shuffled his feet under Nyow who layed a hand on his harness.

Smiling back at her once the both of them had been introduced, Faust courtly lifted his hat just a little- still revealing enough of the unbrushed mess that was his hair to last a whole lifetime or more. "Pleasure to meet you ma'am." He replied, smiling behind the mask. He paid a bit more attention to the girl's bird once she introduced Wakhakwi though, tilting his head and looking towards him from his own perch on his own bird. Rÿssha didn't seem as interested as her owner though, she had too much of an ego to care much about other birds. "Why not, the pleasant company of a woman's never wrong. -Though, any company is always apreciated, Rÿssha doesn't talk much." He nodded towards his bird, whom turned her head just enough to give him a small glare.
Looking over to the other bird again at his wark, Rÿssha understood enough that he wanted to run. Turning her head again to glance at her rider, she wondered if the spindly little man could even stay on her if she did. -She could run, but she prefered just walking around in her own pace. On a second note; she wondered if she could outrun the other chocobo. On a third note; was it even worth it to bother? She usually didn't need much time to think about things, and neither would she this time- Rÿssha would see how this other bird moved first, then she would follow- and perhaps even pass him by the time they reached their destination.
[it's okay, sorry i'm taking such long time to reply every time _:'3]

((It's OK. XD I have been busy anyhow.)) Nyow nodded. Whoever this guy was she could only hope he would be a help. Midgar Zolem's were nothing to be trifled with. "Well, let's go then!" She said enthusiastically, butting her heels into Wakhakwi, expecting a trot. Instead she got an outright run as her brown and yellow bird shot off in the direction of the swamp. Nyow gave a small yelp as she tried to wheel in her unruly birds, but Wakhakwi was simply not listening. He wanted to run, to travel, to move quickly. And since it was only a few minutes to the swamp this way he would not allow her to try to pull him back to a reasonable speed. Why would he? They could most certainly catch up in due time once they got there. Besides... The funny man in the hat was not his choice companion for his master anyhow.
