When I role play, I tend to use realistic pictures, for example:

Tips for all of the new role players:
Make two topics. One for profiles, and one for the actual roleplaying[/1].
Set up rules such as, post your characters picture with every post, and please be literate.
Make your posts PRETTY, and here's an example of my roleplaying:
    MADISON LOE Madison lay in her bed, listening to the morning birds chirp, smelling the breakfast being cooked in the downstairs kitchen, and her mothers wonderful singing. Every morning, Madison would just sit and indulge in her happy, easy-going life. She had it good. "Maddie, dear! Time to wake up!" Her mother called, as walked up the stairs and into her daughters room. "Good morning, mother." She greeted her mother with a hug and a kiss. "What do you have prepared for breakfast? It smells divine!" Her mother smiled at her and nodded, "It does smell wonderful, doesn't it? It's your grandmothers recipe. Blueberry muffin, scrambled eggs, scones, and my favorite, southern-styled pancakes." She finished. Madison thanked her mother with one last kiss and rushed downstairs. Madison's family was extremely rich, and not to mention powerful, so she could always expect some extravagant. She asked the butler to make mer a plate, and Madison waited patiently at the dining room table. "Thank you, Relinda!" She thanked the butler when her plate was handed to her. She started eating as soon as the plate was on the table, and she sure wasn't disappointed. It was amazing! The muffins were soft and warm, the cheese on the scrambled eggs was melted exquisitely, the scones were browned perfectly, and the pancakes couldn't taste better! When Madison's tummy was filled to the top, she ran up the stairs, changed into her Sunday dress, fixed up her make-up and hair, and then sat down at her vanity. She loved looking at herself. She was a princess, and her attire reflected that. Madison's life was perfect. Yes, I did just write that on my own, no help at all. Even though she is a bit rough and rude but she is very kind. It's just that she doesn't show her soft side much. Raiko loves sports and challenges. Music is also her life. Sometimes she brings out her guitar and plays it.
She used to have a boyfriend when she was 13 years old but she realized that he was useless and weak so they broke up. Since then, Raiko dislike boys and she vowed to overpower every boys she faces.
