My best friend is christian and its hard for me to watch her waste time. She spends a lot of time and money there for nothing. She knows i'm atheist but she still likes to drag me to her church.

Well, that must be tough. But I think you need to talk with her and ask her to respect your stance-- your lack of belief, and if you do not feel comfortable going to that church,voice your opinion.
If she truly and really cares about you, she will understand.

Let her make her own decisions and do not stress over it too much.The best thing you can do is be there whenever she needs you, but do not cater to her whims. You,too,deserve respect.

your right and thats what i have been trying to do. she has gotten better about it.

My fiancé is a die hard catholic. I go with her to church every time she goes although she knows I'm an atheist and I don't believe anything said at church. What I'm trying to say is, you can live with someone who has a different point of view; or religion, per se; and let it not be a topic of conflict. I'm supportive in a way that I go with her to church, and she is supportive in a way that she doesn't even try to convert me into catholicisim.
