Books, Thick leather books bound in rich, red leather, stacked as high as the carrage roof could reach. Tacky scarlet wallpaper tinted every filing cabanet and every stack of papers rose-red.
It was when you realised the equally red reading glasses resting on a smothered work table that you did realise you had wandered into Conchordia's Work Wagon.
Cluttered, chaotic and yet erily stil,.This room of secrets was the singularly most exclusive sight you had beheld since your talents were requested for this unpredictable place.
Making most of the unguarded goods, you investigate, not for too long, before you notice a thickly bound string of parchments- All with hasty handwrittend personal Info on the labeled 'New Recruits'

Carny Job: Firebreather, Foodstand/Food cart owner (Cirque du Gothique side)
Age/apparent age: 25/20
Gender: Female
Apperance: She has fiery orangish red hair, green-blue eyes, and very pale skin.
For her short than average, she is slender, but a bit curvy in the bust and hips.
Normally she is seen wearing a tight fitting long sleeved shirt, jeans, a checkered apron, and canvas flats, and a belt of many side bags where she carries smelling salts, spices, and her money belt for the food cart.
Her headgear changes from weird cat-hats to flower wreaths to barrettes, depending on her mood.

Abilities: She is a firestarter, part of the reason she's at a circus instead of leading a normal life elsewhere.
Not that she would go anywhere else, she loves the people there.
Temprament: She's a bit motherly towards other people in the Cirque, constantly making sure everyone is eating right and getting plenty of rest and such.
She is also a closet romance (of any sort) fangirl, and notorious for mathcmaking.
Details: Mira was born in a improvished area, and it was discovered that she had a "special" ability at a young age. Because her mother was able to keep her calm after the first of accidents occured, she was thought to have some control of the pyrokinetic ablities.
With that worry gone, she and her mother lived a happy life, her mom being a waitress at a small cafe famous for it's pies, all of which were specially made by Mira's mother, and the small girl learned to cook as well, finding it easy to put love and happiness into food.
However, this was not to last. One night, Mira's mother was working late at the cafe when men came in asking for money that she had owed them. When they slammed the woman into the counters and were going to cut her, Mira, who was hiding in the cabinet, got so emotionally distressed with the feeling of helplessness that her firestarting powers literally exploded out into the room.
The cafe burned down, with only one survivor, a small girl who ended up walking out into the darkness by herself, crying as she wandered towards the blinking lights of a traveling circus.

In her trademark boots, she reaches 5'9". Long black hair is a crown on her head, though only worn up in a bun to go outside. It is only to the one she gets to know that she will lower her hair for. A milky white complexion with painted lips and eyes. In essence, looking like a porcelain doll. She is almost blind in one eye, but corrects it with her monocle. Her waist is cinched exaggerating her figure even further, though to begin with, she didn't need help. Portrait:  Abilities: (Will work on and add if we do indeed start having battles) Temprament: Though viewed as having a superiority complex, Mme Adora does not look down on others. She was raised a lady and still hold true to the fashion, this only adding to the 'snooty' appearance. To those she knows very well, she is kind, though to those who cross her? Well... that's another story. Details: Adora Molyneux was born in a small town and from a young age she had loved the circus. This was ingrained in her mind and soul as her grandmother took her to the circus each time it came to town. When Adora was with her, she would practice different routines seeing as she wanted to be the star of the show one day, and be the head of the acts! This would be none other than a Ringmistress' role of course, and she was more than eager to get that job. Finally one day as the opportunity arose for her, she jumped on it for the job. It was finally hers... a job in the center stage... and she couldn't be happier.

OC Name: Known exclusively as 'Gala', tells no-one his actual name. Carny Job: Manical clown//a*****e Age/apparent age: 'appears' to be about 35 years old Gender: Male Apperance: Gala is 6'7" tall and incredibly thin, bony and spindly. He wears a dirty purple and green Harlequin's suit for performances, and simply throws an equally dirty trench coat and hat over it all when he leaves the circus grounds. He has no eyes, merely empty, soggy sockets. Wherever he goes, he wears an offwhite porcelain mask with a manic sharky grin and a black leather strap keeping it to his head. The eye holes of the mask are simple round holes showing into his empty sockets. Portrait: (his outfit varies from picture to picture : P) ONE /// TWOAbilities: Has no extraordinary abilities, though since he is technically a reanimated corpse, he feels no pain and is unhindered by most wounds. Wounds sustained during the course of a day gradually heal to his default state of loose decay overnight. Temprament: Gala is a jerk. He loves terrorizing those weaker than him, and annoying those stronger. When he can't orchestrate things to go the way he wants, he becomes irritable. His loyalties lay almost exclusively with people in places of high power, and happily does their dirty work. Details: Gala is technically a Zombie, though retains all the high-functioning abilities of his brain. He has an unwashed smell of dirt and damp earth constantly around him, and despite his state of decay, smells very little like rotten flesh. He is an indeterminate amount of years old, though occasionally tells stories of long-past times as if he was actually there. One of the only times Gala has experienced pain in recent memory is when he was injured by a woman protecting someone he was harming. It is uncertain whether this result can be duplicated, as he makes extra sure not to be harmed in these situations anymore. He has a dark past, which he shares with next to no one. He loves women, and he loves making children cry.

Abilities: Wild beasts love him, other than that he's normal.
Temprament: Quiet and distant towards everyone, but becomes energetic when he's with his friends.
Details: His interests lay with animals as he has always felt a stronger connection with them than humans. He feels animals are always honest towards him. Unfortunately, he came from a white-collar family who urged him to receive an education. On his high school graduation, he ran away to join the circus.

Age/apparent age: Her apparent age is 19.
Gender: Female
Apperance: She is 5'10. She has green eyes along with long, blondish hair that is usually put in a ponytail. She wears a dark blue coat that extends to her hips and has a hoodie that covers her face most of the time. Underneath her coat is a dirty grey shirt with a skull on it. Her hands are unusually skinny and long, and her nails are immensely sharp. She covers her hands in dirty black gloves.

Abilities: To be able to cut anything in half with her sharp nails. She can also make her target a puppet and beat themselves up.
Temprament: (She gets a long with only a few people. She is silent most of the time, but will speak when she wants to comment on something. But, she has a short temper and become very violent at times.
Details: She was abandoned as a child because she was far too violent and scary to be in her family. She lived in the woods until one day she stumbled upon Cirque du Gothique when she was 13. She had been carrying around a eerie puppet at the time that she would always play with and decided to be a puppeteer because she was deeply interested in puppets.

Lauriet wears glasses, as well as an unique vintage coat. Portrait:  Abilities: Lauriet's ability is tied to his Classification - Puppetmaster. His ability allows him control over objects and people via touch. This ability can be sustained for a limited amount of time depending on the person's mental fortitude -- their willpower, and Lauriet's concentration. Lauriet can see through the 'puppet's' eyes long as he remains in control. However, If Lauriet manipulates an object, it is dependent on the weight and Lauriet's willpower. Temprament: Although Lauriet comes off as polite and distant, he is sadistic and simply monotone in everything he does. He takes little joy in anything that doesn't work to his benefit. He is usually blunt, as well as quick to point out someone's faults. Lauriet is darwinistic and an utilitarian. Details: Lauriet's life was pleasant, to say the least. He lead a boring life and was eventually made valedictorian in his final year of Highschool. He refused to go to college however and enlisted in the army. When he was in the army, he discovered in ability of manipulation over things and people. He abused this power often, and through certain events that transpired he was discharged. Lauriet is loyal to his circus, usually going on reconaissance and information gathering whenever he's asked to. To anyone else that he isn't loyal to, he's treacherous and cruel.

Gender: Female Apperance: Short brown hair,small orange hat. One green eye(Left),and one very light blue eye,which seems to be blinded.Always has a pocket watch,and very unique clothing. Details: She was raised by her parents who were killed when she was around 14. She was roaming around,and the Cirque du Dark welcomed her warmly. From then on,she forgot all about her past. Gender: Female. Apperance: Silencieux is a species of Shape Shifting Fae, and as such has the power to change her appearance as she pleases. Generally though, she shows herself as a young woman, appearing to be in her early to mid twenties. Waves of black hair falls down to her shoulders, and her eyes are a burning red color. Her ears are long and black, being pointed to an elven shape at the end. She stands at about 5’5” and boasts a curvaceous figure. Portrait: Silencieux - CLICK Sil Alsopp – (Will be available soon) Abilities: As a Shape Shifter, Silencieux has the ability to shift and morph her body as she pleases. She can stretch out her limbs and even make extra ones if her needed. She can change her limbs into sharp blades and use them for offensive attacks. She has no magic to speak of, and carries no real weapons on her, save for her natural born abilities. Temprament: Before there are any misconceptions about Silencieux, it should be known that she is a very mentally disturbed woman. Her years of imprisonment and slavery has left her mind in a manic state, and her psyche is a very fragile one. Externally though, Silencieux appears to be charismatic and confident, holding herself with a very graceful air. She appears to be kind to her troupe, even if she is more willing to send them out to do her dirty work then go herself. She’s passionate, and wants nothing more than to show the world how horrid this twisted, sick form of entertainment is and demonstrate just what it can do to its victims. Details: Silencieux, or Sil Alsopp, was born as any Shape Shifter is. She never knew her biological parents, as her society raised their young in a communal nursery. Her people worship the great moon spirit, as they believe that is where their ancestors are from. She has a very strong connection to the Great Spirit, believing it is through her will that she performs her actions now. Sil left her home at a young age, traveling around the land of Gaia, despite her village’s protests. The elders often told their children not to wander, lest they be captured and used as living weapons, as was the fate of so many before them. Ignoring their warnings, Sil traveled on, intrigued by the world outside of her small community. Her travels lead her into many perils, as any good adventure will do. One night the poor young Shape Shifter found herself in the middle of a deadly blizzard. She wandered for hours, unsure of where she was and where she needed to be. She had no food, so she soon ran out of energy, forcing herself to revert back and reveal her true form to anyone as foolish as her to be out in the weather. Cold, hungry and scared, Sil stumbled upon a group of tents. She called out to the shadowed figures on the other side of the canvas tents. They looked comfortable, content inside their dwellings, with their warmth and food and bedding. Once again she called out, though stumbled and fell into the snow, unable to get back up. For the next sixty-five years Sil was forced to perform in the Cirque du Gothique show as a captive of the Ringmaster at the time. When she was nor performing, she was held in a small cell. Her shape shifting was blocked by a charmed collar, so escape was made next to impossible. The woman was absolutely miserable. For years she attempted to starve herself, positive that death was her only way of escaping the hell she had found her in. However, once her plans were discovered, she was forced to take in nutrients; most of the time being held down with food forced down her throat. So with starvation out of the picture, Sil slowly schemed up new plans, most of them being shot down before ever becoming more than a thought. The wonderful thing about metal though, is that it rusts. Slowly, but surely it will rust. Over the decades the collar that kept her restricted all of that time deteriorated until the point where she could pry it off. The Cirque Du Gothique troupe never found out where their money making Shape Shifter vanished to. After ten years they haven’t put much thought to it, most assuming that she withered away and died. Facts:♦ Silencieux doesn’t hide what she is to her troupe. But only her troupe. She will openly speak of what she had to go through in her years of captivity and passionately speak of her hatred towards the people who did that to her. ♦ Silencieux will go on as long as she can without sleep. Sleep brings back memories that she would rather not have to relive. Sleep only comes after days without it, when she finally passes out from exhaustion. ♦ Silencieux is a very religious woman. She believes that the Great Moon Spirit was the one to get her through her years of tribulations, and wills her to carry through her current plans. ♦ Silencieux likes extravagant things. The more expensive, the better. Keep this in mind, as one can use it to their advantage when they are in need of bribing the woman.

Appearance: If you were to describe Eli in only one word, it would be androgynous – possessing traits of both male and female genders. With a slim face, large eyes, slender form, and thin fingers, it is difficult to define Eli as either. That is not, however, to say that Eli is unattractive. Strangely enough, golden blonde shoulder-length hair with pink tips complement cornflower blue eyes quite well. During performances, Eli often dresses as either to reduce confusion or scorn from the audience, but if feeling especially playful, will take the stage in normal appearance. Eli has different outfits for masquerading as different genders, but they always seem to look a bit like formal wear.

Abilities: Absurd balance, practiced agility, quick reflexes and enhanced hand-eye coordination. (In other words, nothing more or less than the typical skills your average circus juggler would possess)
Temperament: Playful and carefree, Eli isn’t the type that gets stressed or upset very easily. Either hyperactive or lethargic, Eli knows no middle grounds when it comes to level of activity, and when in more fidgety moods, can often be found juggling whatever relatively small object is within the general vicinity. A lover of challenges and games, Eli loves riddles, illusions, puzzles and tricks, and will often subject others to them if bored. To be honest, aside from the gender ambiguity, Eli is quite normal in terms of appearance, actions, emotions and mental state. With a competitive nature, Eli has a fondness for playful little bets against other circus members, which often result in Eli losing and landing in a world of trouble, but the Juggler never seems to learn. Eli can come off as naive and ignorant, but also has no qualms with a bit of verbal flirtation. With both genders, of course. Eli bears few grudges and actually quite enjoys attending other circuses' shows, though it sometimes causes trouble.
Details: The pronunciation of Eli’s name varies, either as the masculine “Ee-lai” or feminine “Eh-lee”. What is Eli’s true gender? Male, female, neither, both? Well, it’s no fun if all the tricks are revealed! Just for the record, Eli does not have a preference when it comes to pronouns, and can be referred to as 'he', 'she' or even 'it'. When confronted with anything regarding life before the circus or time of joining, Eli simply laughs and changes the subject.
