Large humanoid creatures that may look close to human, but seem to be far from it. They are unusually tall, strong, and if they do weild magic, it appears to be very brutal. These people seem to be confident of their ability and will happily battle you for their honor, or anything. Do not take this as stupidity, they are cunning, intelligent, and deadly. Their stregnth is known by anybody who has come in contact with these reclusive people.
The Atminti seem to have a sixth sense in any battle, or war itsself. This makes them able commanders and warriors, that, coupled with their society. Conflict for them is a learning experience, and is to be actively sought out. Having one of these people as a friend, you can believe that they will be a friend for life, unless betrayed. With Magic, they call their people shaman, and utilize mainly elemental magics. With, they both help their people, and use it in skirmishes.
These people worship ones they call 'Ancients', Those being great dragons from many millenium ago, and then because of this, the ones of them that become dragon riders, become basic nobles of their society. By a great rule, they trancend the boundaries of their tribes and become guardians of their people as a whole. They do not know much of the dragon riders of the rest of the world, but are not unknowing of their existance.
As a people, they tend to be amiable, not truly terrible people, but their opinion of outsiders, and eachother, varies from tribe to tribe. In fact, one could visit their land and be treated well, but come back and end up killed by a different tribe.
The Atminti tend to be rather tall, about 6'0'' on average, with elongated pupils, like that of a snake or lizard. These eyes give them sharper vision and ability to see better in low light, but this also makes them susceptable to flashes of light. As well, their bone structure is denser, making their bones stronger, but rather akward swimmers and such. Their lungs are strong, allowing them to survive at high altitudes and less than sanitary air, and their heart has more chambers, allowing more efficient blood pumping.
Outside their homeland, they are rather rare to find, and usually masquerade as humans when traveling throught human society. With their stregnth, Lucifer wants these people gone as well, but the problem is, any Purge Police sent, usually wound up dissapearing. Where the main of them are, are a large island off the coast of the Shadowlands.
