So apparently the people hired by BP have been saying that the oil is mostly gone, but someone else who went there herself to study it is saying that it is not even close to gone, and the critters that live there are still dying. Good read.

i doubt ill ever buy gas from that company again, mostly because of how porrly they have handled this issue
and i would be freaking amazed if most of the oil was gone already. im pretty sure than an issue like this will take years to fix before wildlife is safe in that area again

I'm not surprised at all. BP is just getting as much money they can out of this, and they really dont care at all what they have done to environment gonk
