His parent's hadn't bonded because there was no reason to, and they believed it would be better to stay purely human, and this influenced him too. As a military family, they rose Raphael to be a good, intelligent person. Of course, like father like son, Raphael wanted to be part of the military, but his Dad declined because Eden's military was practically useless and was nothing like Earth's military.
Raphael's childhood dream was crushed immediately, but it didn't keep him from fulfilling his other dream: to be a rockstar. When Raphael entered high school he never talked to anyone or did anything after school, but play his guitar for hours upon hours at home to become a rocker. His life changed when he met an interesting Edonian by the name of Shroud. He looked a lot like a tiger, but was covered in flames as a result of living in a desert plain near a volcano.
What made this tiger interesting was the fact that he was unbiased on the whole concept of being on Edonian and it caused him to be careless, lazy, but somehow remarkable intelligent. Raphael decided he would bond with Shroud after having a good conversation with the flame covered beast, and discussing it with his parents. His father was very disapproving at first, but upon meeting and talking with Shroud he suddenly decided he was all for it.
After high school, Raphael took a break from school to start a band. When he turned twenty, his band came together and did their first live performance and rocked the stage with great music. They weren't noticed by the few record label companies, but the crowd enjoyed themselves. After a few more performances, a record label finally asked for them to sign, but they declined in believing that their sound would change and that their motives for being in the band would change.
Raphael did get paid tons of cash for doing something else though: Being a DJ. When he started college, he started getting into being a DJ, but didn't really care for it too much. When he had finished high school his focus on being in a band was split fifty-fifty with wanting to be a DJ. About a year before his band had their first performance, Raphael had his first live performance at a club and everyone loved his style and beats. The clubs wanted him and so did the musicians, and this got him paid.
With the money he got from being a DJ, Raphael decided he was going to finish school for good and attended a college that would advance his knowledge in music, and every other art known to man.xx◈ People say I act like this...:○ Kind-Hearted
Everyone only has nice things to say about Raphael. He has a huge heart and is commonly seen helping somebody do something. Few can recall the times that they've seen Raphael get angry or be rude to somebody, but people say it's never good when he is.

If you want your definition of a stereotypical man, Raphael is it. He has no fears, respectful, honorable, and is predictable like one too. Mixed in with his rockstar life is his sex life because after every performance he's usually in a private room with a woman "fulfilling a man's needs", as his band members would often quote. Regardless, he is quite the gentleman.

In order to keep everyone happy, Raphael usually finds himself having to think for others needs and wants, and has no record of getting on anyone's bad side (it's the other way around). Anyone who is a friend to Raphael always tends to be best friends because of this as he does things or gives them presents that mean a lot to them, and then he rears them in with his kind-heart.

Sei was furious at how they could tell him what to do, but as in the letter, a man showed up to take him. Sei had to abandon his life and go to this new world. At first he resented it, but he learned that Eden had the ability to grant special powers, he hoped that he might be able to get some as well, maybe saving the earth while he's at it, though he wasn't aware that's what the reason was behind sending him. xx◈ People say I act like this...:○ Friendly

xx◈ My strong points are...:○ Sei has a wire whip that he carries. It's extremely thin and acts like a bendable sword, cutting everything cleanly. Since the wire is extremely thin, Sei has developed better eyesight to be able to see the wire as well as slow down the movement in his mind.
○Sei also carries 5 throwing daggers, mainly as a last resortxx◈ I'm the worst when it comes to...:○ Sei is very protective of others, even risking his own life. Hostage situations and threats bring him down to nothing. He never risks someone else's life over his own. He also relies on his eyesight heavily, which can make for an easy target.
