What would you be? Would you be a Herald? Or a Bard, or a Healer, or a mage or Hawkbrother or Shin'a'in or... anything, really.
I believe my answer is fairly obvious. biggrin I chose Bard for several reasons...
-Blood makes me ill, so Healer is out
-Heralds have a bit too high of a death rate for my liking
-Mages do cool stuff but they don't get to hang out in Valdemar, at least, not until really recently in Valdemar-time
-Shin'a'in don't get magic, plus I hate camping
-Tay'ledras don't get to hang out in Valdemar either, again, at least until recently.
-Mercenaries have to, you know, kill people
-Everyone else is boring, except for...
Bards. Which is the last thing left. Plus, I sing, I act, I write, I spend far too much time reading and I generally do a lot of Bardic things. So Bard Kayna Ashkevron I became.

Tay'ledras I think I would enjoy the most. I am a musician now- but I am not on the level that a bard would be. I also would definitely like to live in a vale.. no winter...

I'm not really Bardic level either... I just like to pretend I am cool I mean, sure, I sing, but I can't play any instruments except the piano and I only just started taking lessons in that a month ago and they don't have pianos in Valdemar anyway. So. crying

*Thinks of life as a Herald* BOOM! Head shot! *giggles* Err, I'd probably not keep my companion long would I? Heh, probably why I ended up choosing Herald-Mage.

I would chose Herald, if only because then....I get to be trained by Albreich. Oh yes....I want to be a Herald. They may have a high death rate but Albreich makes up for it...oh yes....he makes up for it a LOT....*proceeds to read the book dedicated purely to him and his epicness* heart

I did it with Albreich's book. *wink wink* heart But yeah....I do kinda like Vanyel....but Albreich is more of the tough veteran kind of guy that I tend to adore. ((Well him and Skiff.)) But well, I would say that her redone myth books are really good as well. She's even done a sort of beauty and the beast remake! ((The Fire Rose, it counts!)) Excuse me.....I must go look up pictures of man-meat now....
