I wanted to vent about how mad I am at three different games, and doing so in the threads already there would have been out of place. However if the powers that be don't like this thread, lock it up. ^^
Anywho... I tried to play Tales of Destiny today. But the disk is messed; of course it didn't start acting up until AFTER I figured out I had to go to Trash Mountain to get some thingy to fix the dargon ship thingy. I could have sworn I was a lot futher along than that. -.-;; I have to come across another iso to finish that game.
So I went on to play Lunar SSC, but stopped since my boyfriend is playing it and the story is too fresh in my mind. So I searched through the four different 100 stack cd holders we have looking for Lunar EB. Finally found it, and got to the part after you find Lucia and you're on the way out of the shrine and that funny Zophar[sp] guy takes away her powers. ...I got my arse handed to me by the Guardian thing ...and I didn't save. D:
So now I'm mad at all three of those games, and I don't know what to play. crying

I'm sort of playing Suikoden Tactics, but I haven't picked up the controller in a bit over a week now because it just isn't holding my interest. Unfortunately, I have this thing about only playing one game at a time and as a result I heven't gotten around to Dragon Warrior VIII or Atlier Iris yet (much less Makai Kingdom or Katamari Damacy, both of which I'm waiting to buy until I've gotten through those other games). Then there's the backlog of reading I need to do, which battles with the video games for my attention... sweatdrop

I get busy a lot with school and having my truck stolen isn't making "pay the bills" any easier. But I started playing FF VIII months ago. I got busy with school and I never got off the first disc. I'm still really early in the game too. (It's sad.) About a year ago I started a project with FF VI and I was trying to get an item and "The World of Ruin" and ended up getting bored of it and taking a this year long break. I really need to get back to it though. (Kefka is waiting.) I started playing the new Castlevannia(Sp? God I hope I didn't kill that too bad.) I'm all the way at the end of that and I just want to go get finish making all the items. So you know I'm just sitting at the end doing nothing. I just haven't had the time or want to play them lately, though I should really start back on one of them and finish it. sweatdrop

I am struggling to keep from falling asleep in Phantasy Star 3. Man, and I thought Quest 64 was boring.
I am also alternatively beefing up my characters in Phantom Brave to see if I can complete all the End Game challenges. Just wiped the floor with Level 2000 Sulphur, getting ready for Pringer X.
But man, I hope that by the time PS3 is beaten Grandia 3 will be available, because I SERIOUSLY need a good RPG to wipe this thing from my mind.

I made it halfway through Dragon Quest 8 when I rented it. Been considering buying the game since then, but the price is scaring me away. So I'm just kinda watching my significant other play through the game. I'll probably steal it from her when she finishes it.
So until then, I have Ape Escape 3 to keep me happy.

I have yet to beat the patriarch in Xenosaga II.
I bought that game not long after it came and got to the patriarch around 8 months ago. I have yet to pick the controller back up and put in an hour's worth of leveling up to beat him.
Way to go, Monolithsoft. You made one of the greatest RPGs ever and used it to start a series that cannot capture my attention enough to even beat once.

Wow, Threads of Fate is boring. Next maybe I'll try my hand at Cosmic Fanatasy II.

On the subject of putting down a game midway for a long period of time, roughly three years ago I got frustrated at the shapeshifting boss on the snowy mountain around Tibet in Terranigma. Then, last saturday, I picked it up, gained a level, and then played for hours until I realized I was supposed to work.
Man, I could've finished this game three years ago! Gah, I hate having to add games to my pile of unfinished ones.

After someone mentioned Live-a-Live (Ess?) in a post in one of the other threads, I remembered I had a ROM of it and found a translation patch for it. And yes, it's awesome, but I find that some of the stories are too short. Like Sunset's.
Oh well. It's sure fun though. And some of the stories are pretty wacky.

Probably me, yeah. And yeah, the stories ARE too short, but it's still neat. Sunset rocks hardcore!

Playing Breath of Fire IV and it will forever have a special place in my heart simply because of Ershin's existence. People who think she's a stupid character also have opinions as important as that of soylent green.
Even without ::SPOILER::being the container for Deis, a being of almost unlimited power as that's what GODDESSES kinda have::/SPOILER::, Ershin is still the most entertaining character I've seen from an RPG lately. Her speech patterns, stat growths and the way she resembles a domo cosplaying a trashcan all add to a coolness that I am having difficulty doing justice to.

I have yet to touch it after that first day of playing.
