Pokemon can only be traded within your respective Teams. Magma with Magma, Aqua with Aqua.
This is completely up to the Owners, and the trades of course have to be okay on both sides
You can trade a stage 3 for a stage 4 etc as long as your trading partner is okay with it
Legendaries can't be traded
