An example of the Main Suite Room:

Uelhraîm's suite contains a series of rooms that are connected to one another through several small winding hallways. Each room is enchanted to have an aspect of the season to it. In the main room, where Uelhraîm keeps his alchemical materials, potions, shelves and shelves of books, small wooden furniture cramped with old books, and simple stone floors and walls, the light of the Fall bleeds in through stained glass windows. If one looks outside, they can see the beautiful autumn trees, vibrant oranges and reds silently slip from the trees in the form of leaves, which from time to time, when Uly opens the windows, leaves slip into the room and disappear when they tough the ground. That is the only indication that they are enchanted.
In Uelhraîm's bedroom, where no one, not even his apprentice, is allowed to go, he keeps his most treasure belongings. The room is very open, with arches that lead to the outdoor fields in which his bedroom is set. It is set to the spring, in a grassy field where a small river trickles past and several grape vines wrap around the beautifully etched ivory columns that support the roof of his bedroom. The walls and floors are made entirely of a white marble, and the bed is made of the finest white satins Uly could come across. The room is designed for spring time, and when it is night, the stars are clear in the sky and the curtains surrounding the room sway in and out comfortably.
In Uly's tea room, its theme is that of summer, with a bright day in a crisp japanese-style cherry blossom forest. He often invites guests here when they wish to come, and it is a very simplistic room. The room, like Uly's bedroom, is open, without walls and instead only columns supported the engraved ceiling. One cannot, however step out onto the ground, because the tea room is set above a mountaintop.
In Uly's potions room, the room where he designs and plans all potions out, collecting ingredients and placing them there, where the giant cauldron sits directly in the center of the room. It is indeed a closed in room, but instead there are no doorways other than the one used to enter the room. The doorways instead are open archways, and the white fields of soft snow can be seen outside. Small snowflakes drift in and out of the room, and Uly ensures his materials stay here in order to preserve them. It is not freezing, though it is does have a bit of a brisk chill. Uly only wears his mantle indoors while in this room. There is no roof, though instead it is covered by a tapered canopy of glass and fabric, creating beautiful dome. The snow outside is a bright white, and the sun seeps through the frosted trees.
There are of course, rest rooms, but they are not designed for any particular season and therefore remain simple rooms. Normally people can find Uly within his lobby, usually making small scale potions on his small cauldron or teaching his apprentice in the Potions room.
A set of long and winding circular stairs connect Uly's Suite to the suite that belongs to his apprentice Ash.

"Wisdom sails with wind and time..."
{Master of Alchemy, Elite Mage}

The sound of soft bubbling could be heard in the silent stone room... The soft whisper of autumn leaves could be heard as traces of red and orange slipped in through the open window in the form of leaves... One leaf landed in the small black cauldron that was perched atop a small wooden table. The cauldron sputtered and bubbled for a few moments before rumbling on with its steady boil. The scent of freshly brewed herbs wafted throughout the man, as the steady breath of a man pulled in the delicate scents through his nose. The scents tickled his senses, making him more aware. He was seated cross legged in front of his small wooden table, surrounded by countless shelves filled with books, as well as potions and doors. The room was silent, with the exception of the boiling liquid in the cauldron and the hiss of the wind brushing through the autumn tree outside.
The man slowly dipped a stirrer into the cauldron, slowly coaxing the liquid into gentle circles as he sprinkled in a few more herbs. The cauldron gusted a short blue flame that licked at the man's face, but soon returned to its normal state. The man's eyes did not seem to move, and his concentration was unbreakable. With what appeared to be completion, he quickly released the burner, turning off the steady flow of flames that roasted the bottom of the cauldron. The man quickly ground another few herbs in his mortar with a pestle, creating a fine power in which he drizzled into the solution. The liquid quickly shifted into a lime-green color. With a content smile to the face as steam released from the open mouth of the cauldron, the man poured the liquid into two small vials with a bulb at the end. He set one to the side, keeping the other in his hand as he stood up.
The man was wearing simple black hakama pants with a black open shirt. He had long, black winding messy hair that he kept tied back in a thick ponytail... The sound of wind chimes rattled in the soft breeze of wind that trickled through the wind. The man was Uelhraîm Grans, master Alchemist of the Mages Guild. He slowly sat down in a comfortable arm chair, admiring his hard work by looking at the vial... the lime greenish-yellow seemed to swim within the vial. As usual, his work was flawless...

Why?
Ashylnn "Ashe" Moth
Apprentice to Uelhraîm Grans
Soft, barely audible footsteps came from the spiral stairs, echoing around the only space in Uelhraîm's room that was actually stone. The steps paused as they reached the top; observing, taking in everything. They resumed just as quickly and soon their owner could be seen.
Pale purple hair cut to stop just above the shoulders, framed a pale face. Two-colored eyes, one brown and one orange, gazed about the room to take everything in. The young woman shifted the leather bound book under one arm and her gloved hand lightly grazed the sheathed knife at her side as she checked her pockets. She had everything then, time to begin the day.
Ashlynn Moth, better known as Ashe, continued into the lobby where she knew her Master was. At the "doorway" she stopped and rapped on the stone wall with the metal of her gloves to knock. After three knocks she stopped and bowed "Good morning, Master Uly." she righted herself and entered quietly. This was their usual greeting before lessons.
This time, however, Ashe stopped a little ways from her Master and tilted her head "Do I detect Withering Moon? The color indicates a charm potion, but I am unsure of whether you have made a Cast Light or Luck. The more likely would be Cast Light because of the easy access to the ingredients, but that's an assumption." the girl remained calmly where she was and awaited an answer, her face calm.
A single autumn leaf drifted through the window, floating through the air and to the young mage. Without hesitation she slipped off her left glove to reveal several long scars and held out her palm so the leaf could settle. It remained there for only a moment before disappearing, but that didn't stop the small smile on Ashe's face as she pulled back on her glove.
Tell me.

Uly had heard the soft footsteps as they approached the entrance to the room. With a calm, yet humored glint of an eye, he continued to twirl the vial within his hand. With her entrance, his mouth did not curve into the slightest hint of a smile, but the softening of his eyes and the release of his firm self brought about the room a calming sense of welcome.
His mind begin to conjure soft thoughts as he watched Ashlynn softly catch the leaf that had floated into the room.
"Good morning, Miss Ashlynn." Uly had responded, his soothing deep voice sounding a bit more formal than usual, but most likely in an attempt to play along with the way Ashlynn had formally addressed him. He was surprised, her quick and easy observation of the potion he twirled ever-so-calmly between his thick fingers, but then again, she was known to learn very quickly. "Indeed, it is a Cast Light." he said once more, holding out the small vial to Ashlynn as if to give it to her. "Again, you never cease to amaze me." He said as he looked to her orange and brown eyes. She, like him, had heterochromia, and as all mages did had two different colored eyes. Uly's brown and green eyes trailed down to glance at her book.
He turned around to clean up the small mess he had created. "So tell me, my dear apprentice, what has caused a mind such as yours to wake up so early? Perhaps you had a desire to know something else that troubled you? Or have I lost my track of time entirely?" He asked, clearly oblivious to what time of morning it even was.

Why? Ashylnn "Ashe" Moth Apprentice to Uelhraîm Grans Ashe accepted the small vial with a smile "Thank you, Master Uly." She was pleased that she'd gotten it right and it showed as she held the vial up to the ruby bracelet on her left arm "Hold." The gem glowed and enveloped the vial in a red light before it disappeared.
She glanced at her Master for a moment before putting her book on a clear space and helping with the clean-up "No I don't have any questions yet today, Master Uly." she swept spare herbs into her hands and put them back where they belonged "It is indeed time for shops opening and normally our lessons..." mortar and pestle were cleaned and put up as well "...however you had asked Miss Marabelle to come by with the book you requested and as such lessons were canceled. Ah, now I have a question. May I ask which volume you asked her for?" Tell me.

Uly rubbed his chin in thought. "Ah yes I beleive I had asked her for the latest... or rather third volume of the Mysteries of Alchemy. It is indeed a good read and can provide much more aid to my research. There are many theories within that book that I would also like to test, if you wish to borrow it you may." He finished his statement, probably the most words he would speak throughout the day. He was only most talkative to Ashlynn, and that was mostly because she was his apprentice and his main source of daily company. When he was in public places, his responses were short lived and brief.
"I did wish to cover something today actually." He began, looking back over to Ashlynn with his serious expression. "I believe you recall we had done the majority of our training on smaller potions, gradually working on tougher and tougher combinations as you escalated in experience. Now I know you are ready to work on a much more difficult potion, on the big cauldron within the winter-room. I shall instruct you how to use such a complex cauldron and observe your performance in making a more complex potion." He said, obviously providing Ashlynn with a difficult task, however he believed she was well capable of doing it.

Why? Ashylnn "Ashe" Moth Apprentice to Uelhraîm Grans The girl nodded as she continued the clean-up "Thank you, Master Uly." Ashlynn was notorious in the guild for her various experiments when it came to her curiosity. She'd been known to blackmail people to make them help her though both herself and Uelhraim knew she'd never actually do anything to hurt anyone.
She didn't pause in her work as she listened and merely nodded as she put up a vial on the shelf. She dusted off her gloved hands and turned to her Master. The girl was straight and to the point, she'd never been one to shy away from a challenge "I understand. Do we begin now?" Tell me.

Uly admired her quick response to the challenge. "You are welcome, and thank you for helping me with this mess... Why not we begin now? I suggest you wrap that cloak of yours around yourself." He said, gesturing to the cloak on Ashlynn's back as he fastened his black shirt together and slung his mantle over it, giving him a few layers to shield him from the brisk chill of the winter-room. Before heading towards the door, he quickly pulled a slip of parchment paper from his desk and scribbled a small note on it, fastening it onto his front suite door with a small thumb-tack. The note read:
Miss Marabelle, Feel free to enter, training Ashlynn in winter room, second door to left.
He then turned to look at Ashlynn, gesturing for her to follow as he slipped through the open door that led to the winter room. As he entered, a fresh chilly breeze rushed past him, and he took slow calm steps as snowflakes drifted in lightly... The room itself was bright, walls and floor made of ornate stone, brilliant designs and white curtains everywhere. Uly walked to the very rear of the room, where it appeared to be rounded. In that rounded off area sat the enormous brass cauldron, covered in dials, handles, gears and wheel-like handles. Behind the cauldron was a staircase that circled it, ascending on the right side and descending on the left, making somewhat of a raised walkway around it. On the railing was a book-holder, where a spell-book rested neatly, it's dry pages still open, fluttering lightly with the wind. Next to the cauldron was a large carved table. On top of it were several ingredients, vials, alembics, calcinators, mortars and pestles, and a small open book that contained the recipe for the potion.
Printed at the top of the page on the open book was the words: Potion of Luck
Uly opened his arms as if to say 'ta-da!', as he gestured to the table. "I shall wait until you are ready." He stated simply.

Ashe nodded and drew her green cloak tighter around herself. She couldn't say that there was exactly any nervousness in her, but the softness of the cloth was comforting nevertheless. The cloak had been a gift, from who she had never said. She waited as her Master scribbled the note before she followed after him into the winter room.
The first thing she was greeted with was a chill breeze that stung her eyes. She took a moment to take a breath of the cold air and closed two-colored eyes, remembering a village white from the snow...
She blinked and realized she'd stopped in her tracks before she hurried over to the cauldron. She took in all the ingredients and the recipe itself and a smile danced across her lips. "I am ready." she nodded.

Uly nodded. "Excellent." He noted as he proceeded to walk over to the cauldron, ensuring that Ashlynn was watching and paying attention before continuing. He gestured to a series of knobs, then pointing to the temperature dial. "These maintain the temperature of the cauldron, now keep in mind it takes a few moments for the cauldron to heat up, so do not start with the actual recipe until at least five minutes have passed." He ran his fingers along the labels. "Now if you see, turning this knob~" He said as he pointed to a red knob, "~ will, as you guessed, cause the heat to rise." There were little notches above each of the knobs themselves, and Uly proceeded to explain the blue one, which was the same except for colder temperatures.
"Do not heat something, and then suddenly cool it, unless you are looking for drastic change, but that might harm the cauldron." Uly went over to explain the next knobs and handles, some maintained the pressure of the cauldron, others helped to release steam, some activated the internal cooling system of the cauldron so that it would not overheat. It was indeed a complex machine, but Uly explained every detail with efficiency and accuracy, ensuring his instruction was simple enough to be understood by anyone.
There were specific compartments for each ingredient to be placed in. There were tubes for liquids, powered ingredients could be poured through a slot, and other ingredients could just be tossed in through the top. Uly pointed out the large lever next to a few numbered notches that indicated there was a stirrer inside. This lever, when pulled to a certain notch would activate the stirrer and bring it to a certain speed. In the case that there was an emergency, there was another bright red lever at the side that when pulled, drained the contents of the cauldron into a deep endless well below. The spell-book at the top was specifically designed to enchant the contents of the cauldron, however it was unneeded at the moment.
"Let us fire this up and have a practice run shall we?" He asked as he activated the cauldron, pulling on another lever that caused a large pipe encased in wood to lower from the wall, pointing straight into the cauldron and filling it with water. "We shall test this with simple water, however if you need other liquids to be poured in here, you just send down one of these tokens through a slot and that specified liquid on the token is sent through." He explained. He held up several tokens from a shelf on a small table next to the larger table with the ingredients on it. The shelf was organized, and had small legible labels that indicated what each token would request. The tokens appeared to be long wooden rectangles with small slits at the top. They had different printed designs on them, depending on the specific liquid, and they were colored differently.
He then gestured to the cauldron. "Go on ahead and have a shot, it is water, so nothing bad should happen on your first try. Once you have gotten the hang of it, we can try that Potion."

Why?
Ashylnn "Ashe" Moth
Apprentice to Uelhraîm Grans
Ashe watched carefully, two-colored eyes taking in everything as Uly pointed to each part of the cauldron and explained the purposes. Her mind soaked up the information like a sponge, thriving on the knowledge. It certainly was an interesting device, she'd have to be careful.
Her mind drifted back for an instant a few months back with one of the alchemy labs. The students involved had never quite been the same afterwards and had looked at her in fear and run away for the next few weeks or so until she had reassured them she was no threat. That lab had never been quite the same, it probably had something to do with the rainbow colored stains on the walls of the room.
She couldn't help raising one brow at the mention of "nothing bad" happening on her first try with water. That theory had been disproved in another of her experiments where the walls had been charred black. Of course, she trusted her Master and knew he knew her well enough to stop any insane experiments before they began. Then again she was rather well-behaved when it came to lessons, it was all the other times you had to watch out.
The girl tilted her head slightly before approaching and beginning experimenting with the different liquids. A sweet smell, like perfume, drifted into the air and Ashlynn paused. After a moment she continues, weaving together a simple concoction through smell, something familiar to her. When it was done she took a step back and stared at the cauldron with calm but somber eyes.
Tell me.

{Master of Alchemy, Elite Mage}

Uly eyed her actions carefully with dark, bottomless eyes. The hood of his tangled black hair seemed to stir in the delicate silky breeze that brushed past, stinging his nose with the sweet and light scent of a most interesting concoction. With a nod of approval and a quick gleam of the eyes, he looked to his apprentice as he approached the massive cauldron. His mind clearly swimming with interest and thoughts, he stepped onto the small staircase behind the cauldron and peered into the liquid. He had somewhat of an idea of what she had been able to make.
"Excellent! No harm done, eh?" He asked rather casually as he took long strides to the bronze lever. With a swift tug he slowly drained the contents of the cauldron, releasing the lever and returning to Ashe's side. Rubbing his stubble covered chin in curiosity, he peered down to the potion book and quickly observed the ingredients necessary. He had set everything out perfectly for Ashe.
Taking seat in an old creaking chair, dilapidated, moaning under the soft weight of Uly, Uly's gaze returned to Ashlynn. "You may begin."
He was very cautious, observing her actions with a close eye as to prevent any accidents from occuring...

Why? Ashylnn "Ashe" Moth Apprentice to Uelhraîm Grans Ashe stood back and waited a Uly observed the contents. As her master emptied the cauldron she closed her eyes and took a deep breath, suddenly aware of the tense atmosphere in the room. It was like the whole world had stopped for a moment to hold its breathe and watch. She reveled in the feeling, pushing back memories of snow-covered villages and autumn leaved fields in wake of the knowledge of the path she had chosen.
When Uly's voice broke the silence with his command she opened her eyes and began.
Everything was laid out perfectly before her, the girl didn't even have to bat an eyelash to double-check having confidence in her master. She picked up the mortar and pestle along with the motherstone and set them to one side before taking in the ingredients before her once more. She carefully calculated what she would have to do and how, which ingredients would go first...
Let it never be said that Ashlynn was afraid to try something new.
She set the temperature of the water to boiling and then the Withering Moon was first, the leaves floating lightly along the surface before the rest of the necessary parts of the plant followed. She stirred the water lightly, gazing calmly into its surface as the water slowly began to boil. The soaking of the leaves in combination with the growing heat added to the efficiency and she waited patiently until it the cauldron was set to a steady boiling before she truly began.
Alchol was poured in first, the dark liquid dancing lightly upon the surface of the cauldron for but a moment before disappearing among the water. Honey came right after, it's amber glow standing out a bit more and a bit longer before it sank in. Once more she stirred the contents of the cauldron, waiting for the peak of the concoction.
She left it heating and turned to the Motherstone and mortar and pestle she'd left aside. She ground it quickly and efficiently, working it into a fine powder and pausing occasionally to stir and restir the cauldron's contents. When it was ready she tipped the bowl of finely ground Motherstone slip into the cauldron. A surge of magic washed over her senses as the Felhum's most precious stone was added to the concoction before her and the potion bubbled even more, turning a sudden, dull gray color.
She wasn't concerned over the odd color of the potion, she knew what would change it to the finishing stage color in the end and so pressed on in her work. She added a touch more honey and alcohol before dropping in the Dragon Scale and taking a good step back.
As expected a jet of flame rushed from the cauldron and straight up. The heat grazed Ashlynn's face but she didn't blink, only waited for the effects of the Dragon Scale to calm down before stepping forward again and continuing. She smiled at the nearly finished potion as it swirled in the cauldron before her, now a pure, silvery color.
Raising her hand delicately above the cauldron, she let the Glow Dust clenched in her hand float down to the surface of the water. The dust stayed on the surface of the concoction for a moment, gold stars among the silver clouds, and then the water rippled and shone a bright gold. Ashe squinted her eyes against the sudden glow, waiting calmly for it to finish before at last staring into the face of her finished Luck potion.
"..." a barely audible sigh escaped her and she took a step back, waiting calmly by the side of the cauldron for her master's observation and judgement. She knew that she could have done much better but she was still proud of the work she'd done and would seek to improve it. Tell me.
