Or maybe you would, if you were the ones selected to go into an alternate universe to close down the operations of Dark Sun Industries. An organization that wants to harness the power of an alternate dimension to gain control. And if you work for the Tesla Group, you'd definitely be one of those few.
The Tesla Group is an underground affiliation of those called in to take care of major mistakes. They are not well known, and you have to know where to look if you ever need them. Specialized groups of people known as tribes are deployed almost daily to take care of the little nasties in life that most people don't know about or are too happy with their sense of normalcy to acknowledge.
This time, it's bigger than even that.

Leid's Characters: Name: Sidney Nicholas Reeve Player: Leid Age: 26 Sexual Orientation: Straight. Very straight. General Appearance: Sidney is on the taller end of average height, wears his hair short and spiky and is overweight, with broad, strong shoulders. Personality: Sidney is rather grumpy and apathetic about life in general. He has a sweet side, but has trouble showing it. Passions: His passion used to be football, now it's just a casual interest. His current passions include anything that can be an escape of his life. Though he doesn't like bringing it up, being on stage, singing and acting, brings him happiness. Hobbies: Sidney has a mess of games to entertain him, however, he's a talented musician. He'll never play his accordion for you, so don't ask, and it's almost as rare for him to be convinced to sing in public. Contrary to the before statement, Sidney has been in a few low budget plays at a small local theater, some times with lead roles. Bio: Sidney grew up with his mother and father breathing down his neck to be the person they wanted him to be. A leg injury and a sleeping disorder lead to Sidney being moved from star quarterback on his high school team to line backer. He stopped being able to tolerate living with his parents, so, for his last year of high school he moved in with his uncle Sanglais. Ever since he has been living there, almost like a son to his uncle, working at a convenience store, not planning on going to college. While Sanglais knows Sidney can do better, Sidney refuses to better himself and move out. The both of them to like living together, however. Other: Sidney suffers from Nocturnal Sleep Related Eating disorder, where he sleep walks and eats food and sometimes not food from the kitchen. Luckily Sidney hasn't had too many problems from this other than weight gain, but it can be a very deadly condition if he were to choke or ingest something poisonous. Pic: SidneyName: Solshia Teldesram Morimonae Kolknit Player: Leid Age: 20 Sexual Orientation: Uncertain General Appearance: Olive-green skin, hairless with dark eyes, four arms and brown and black lines tattooed on his skin. Personality: Solshia tries to be polite and is usually soft spoken. He's quick to smile and laugh, but just as quick to quiet down. He's more introverted than shy. Hobbies: Solshia enjoys quiet and relaxing hobbies he can perform by himself or with a small group of friends. Bio: Solshia's people, the Eldana, are an odd sort, much like elves, but much more structured and secluded. They are a a peaceful people and a half-Eldana is quite unheard of. From birth an Eldana is raised in a group of peers, a whole community bonding with them. As the young Eldana show their skill sets they are given jobs to perform in their lives. Solshia was born to a group and showed great artistic strength and love. He was given a job as a child raiser, someone who would take care of the children in addition to a handful of others, teaching them things like music and art. Solshia was also chosen to bear a child. Child birth for an Eldana is a difficult affair yet can be done by either outward gender and inside an Eldana is both. Something about the Eldana makes it very hard for a parent to survive labor, possibly because an Eldana will commonly have three children at a time, causing them to lose a lot of blood. It's a safe bet to say hormonal changes make an Eldana very fragile. Fearing his fate and too scared to risk his life and possibly not see his own children he declined, dishonoring himself and his community. The Ceremony of the Deserter was held for him, and he was branded with the name "Kolknit" (translates to "one who disappoints severely"), branded with dark marks of the exiled, and calmly asked to leave as he turned down a very important task. With what he was given from his community he managed to survive just fine, but is not really starting to learn who he is as a person. Other: Solshia's full name translates as such: Solshia = Happy Child; Teldesram = One who is artistic and musical; Morimonae = Fair and sweet parent; Kolknit = One who disappoints severely Pic: Solshia

~ Liz's Characters:Name: Elizabeth Nichole Michelle Greyfox Player: LEG Age: 20. ((Nov. 5th, 1990)) Sexual Orientation: Bisexual General Appearance: Standing at 5'2", at first Elizabeth is everything short of intimidating. It's her wide, deep brown eyes that throw people off their security. If her features don't show her thoughts and emotions, her eyes certainly do. Her hair is long and brown, some days laying straight, others in soft waves. Being rather short, Elizabeth is of a medium build and is rather well endowed in the chest area. Her arms and legs are rather long, her torso short. She has a slighly upturned nose and full lips. There's a birthmark between her shoulder blades in the shape of a fox head, and a scar around the outside of her left eye in the shape of a crescent with a silver sheen to it. Personality: Liz is kind and motherly. She has a penchant for making friends wherever she goes and is fiercely loyal to them at all costs. However, Liz is still a human being. She gets angry quickly and can hold grudges as well as the next person. Passions: Elizabeth is driven by her passions for magic and singing. She's a quick learning mage and she has the voice of an angel. Hobbies: When Lizzie isn't training, she can often be found with friends, or at home cooking and singing. She also likes to volunteer at the orphanage every so often to hang out with the kids. Bio: Elizabeth was born into a loving family with many friends in a wonderfully sheltered life. That was until she was seven and her parents were killed in a "freak car accident" that she was also in, leading to her awakening as a mage. She then grew up in her grandparents' mansion where she befriended their ward Sarah Arnette. The two became fast friends, Sarah being a mage from the beginning. Then, upon finding Naomi Stanton a year later, they became a close knit trio of mages. At the age of twelve she lost her grandmother to another "freak car accident." This turned her grandfather into a strict, overbearing man. At the age of 16, Elizabeth left home with her two friends to live on their own, taking her girlfriend of three years, Danielle Ravynwulf, with her. At the age of eighteen she lost Danielle to "a racist shooting." Broken and lost, the innocent girl Elizabeth was is now but a mask for the vengeful and angry girl she is. This is why Tesla Group hired her, and this is why she's part of one of their best tribes. Other: Lightning Mage Pic: Hello there!*********************************************Name: Naomi Renee Stanton Player: LEG Age: 20. ((Jan. 13, 1990)) Sexual Orientation: Straight General Appearance: Standing at a nice 5'7", this 137lb girl can almost be described as dramatic in looks. Her hair is long and black, and it curls its way down to the middle of her back. Her eyes are a striking lime green set in long, dark lashes and naturally pale skin. Her sense of style is simple, if it's comfortable, it's wearable. She particularly enjoys her worn in jeans and a flannel button up over a tank. She's never found without her Doc Martens, which are, as she states, "broken in to being perfect." Personality: Naomi is a rip roaring b***h if you don't know her already. It's hard to earn her trust, and even harder to gain her respect. She's a shoot first, ask questions later type person. However, there is a softer side that shows toward her surrogate sisters. Passions: Naomi loves to train, and trains well. She also draws exceedingly well and likes to quite often. Hobbies: Naomi keeps to herself, but it often found on XBox live or playing with someone on the wii. Bio: She has Schizophrenia, a mental disorder that has her hearing and seeing things that aren't there. She wasn't always this way, though. When she was small, her father committed a murder/suicide in front of her, killing her big brother and himself. No one knows for sure what caused it, and she's not telling. The trauma from this event sent her into a catatonic state for a month and a half. When she came out of it, she just wasn't the same. Since then her mother had tried extensive therapies and medications. She'd spent time in more than a few mental institutes and talked to many psychiatrists. That was how she came into her powers, and that was how she came to meet Elizabeth. One night when she was particularly unhappy, and the orderlies were mandhandling her, she suddenly poofed out of the asylum. No one knew where the girl disappeared to. Unfortunately for her, she couldn't remember anything... at all. Elizabeth and Sarah found her in an alley, cold and alone. Something inside them said that she was their missing piece, and took her home. From then on she had a stable, understanding life. When Elizabeth was hired on with the Tesla Group, so was she. Recently Naomi's taken to Geodon and it seems to be keeping her semi-normal. Other: Ice Mage Pic: That's me.*********************************************Name: Sarah Paige Arnette Player: LEG Age: 19. ((Oct. 10th, 1991)) Sexual Orientation: Straight General Appearance: At a cool 5'5", Sarah can remind one of a lifesize doll. Her eyes are a light purple set into a pale, heart shaped face with a small nose and almost pouty lips. Her short, coal black hair frames her face in delicate whisps. Her build would remind one of a small libraran with thin shoulders and an even thinner build. She has pianist's hands and a ballet dancer's feet, making her appendiges seem a little disproportionate. All along her body are little nicks and scars from a very sad past. Personality: Sarah is rather shy and withdrawn. She's afraid of most things and is much of a peace keeper. She's very smart, but doesn't like to impose it on others. Passions: Sarah loves to learn. She's always got a book on hand. Hobbies: Sarah likes to bake in her free time. It's a wonder she's part of Tesla Group and doesn't have her own small bakery somewhere. Bio: Sarah was born into a very uptight family as the youngest of two children. Her parents were only concerned with her when it came time to keep up appearances. It was her brother who did most of her raising. As Sarah grew from a toddler into a little girl, her brother showed indecent desires toward her. He acted on them, and as she grew even gave her out to his friends for some "fun." This unwanted attention caused Sarah to become a very quiet girl, living in books, all kinds of books, when she had a moment to herself. She often stayed over at the Greyfox manor instead of going home, learning as much magic as possible. When finally, her brother was caught. One night things went wrong and a friend of his got a little... blood thirsty. Her brother was taken into custody after a trip to the hospital and she was taken into Elizabeth's grandparents' home permanently. When Elizabeth was hired on with the Tesla Group, so was Sarah, more for her brilliant mind than for her battle prowess. Other: Fire Mage Pic: Hot stuff.

Name: Hailey Wolf Keirnan Player: Wolf Age: 25 Sexual Orientation: Straight General Appearance: Hailey is abnormally tall for a woman, standing at 6'3", she has longish dark brown hair and blue-green hued eyes. She tan and has a lean, stout build. Personality: Hailey is a bit on the quiet side. She gets along with horses better than she does most people. There are times she can seem a bit cold, but really she just does not know what to do. She never had much other people interaction. By nature she is a bit of a loner. However she is extremely protective of others and tends to put herself between others and danger. So she seems kind of the hardened body guard type to a lot of people she has just met. Passions: Hailey enjoys horseback riding more than anything else. Although animals in general catch her attention. Running is a favorite past time of hers as well. Hobbies: Hailey collects many small things, she is a bit of a pack rat. Rocks, feathers, post cards, and bottle caps are only a few things to mention in her collection series. She also rides and trains horses, reads, and writes short stories that never get published or anything like that. Bio: Hailey lives out near a ranch, where she has worked for a long time. Virginia is her best friend and even took her in at one point when she needed some time to get on her feet. She is a registered horse trainer and has a dog that stays with her all the time. The half show-half rottweiler is completely trained and is usually the condition on which Hailey accepts a job offer. She is good at what she does even outside the ranch. Lately more and more things seem to keep coming up that keep her from the ranch, and she misses the simple hard work and sweat that comes with the horse business. Other: Hailey lost both of her parents to a tornado when she was eight and was passed from orphanage to orphanage until she was old enough to be out on her own. Pic: Hailey

Name: Faye Reynolds Player: Wolf Age: 17 Sexual Orientation: Straight General Appearance: Stands an average height of five foot six, and has jet black hair. Faye has a teenage sexy build, that she tends not to notice. Her skin although not tan is not ghost pale, she tends to wear more professional clothing. Pale brown eyes grace her face, as well as a small nose and easy smile. Personality: Faye is very outgoing and is always doing something. She likes being around people and is very friendly and easy going. The young woman enjoys a challenge and finds it hard to perform a task that is not challenging. She is a little bit spoiled and sometimes it makes her hard to put up with. Passions: Reading. Faye is most often found in a book in her spare time, which is not much. Of course she does not leave herself much spare time between job work and the swimming she enjoys so much. Hobbies: Reading, swimming, biking, and people watching. Bio: Faye lived in a very close knit community when she was younger. It was not until she left for college that she realized how much she had been missing out on. Her parents were sad when she moved to a larger location, but they always encouraged their daughter. She came from a good, complete home, even if she was an only child. This makes Faye a little bit used to getting things her way and it was frustrating at first in the real world when that stopped happening for her. Although not a little rich girl she did get quite a bit of things as she had a large family with her being the only child to bestow things upon. Other: Faye best friend from high school and college was possessed by an old spirit of the opposite gender. She helped him out and through it all is how she got recruited for her job. Pic: Faye

Name: Kyliga Terreur Player: Wolf Age: 23 Sexual Orientation: Straight General Appearance: Ky has really pale skin and one blue eye while the other is green. Her hair is also a white color and is on the longish side. She is taller than most, but that comes from a more natural reason. Personality: Ky is kind of quiet, but is very protective of the people she calls friends. A quick thinker she has been known to get them out of a tight spot once or twice in her time. Very much the leader type she finds that sometimes she forgets to listen to other peoples input. Quite the friend if you can look past her few quirks. Passions: Computers are Ky's life she spends most of her time on them and can get past almost any block you put in front of her with a few simple keystrokes. Her laptop is almost always with her in the field, it comes in more handy than most people would think. Hobbies: Ky enjoys being outside, enhancing her computer, and hanging out with friends. Bio: Ky was raised in a pack of her own kind, but as she got older leadership changed and things went downhill. They went from a group that minded there own business to one that terrorized every place they came across. Ky refused said lifestyle and found herself locked in battle, next to her brother, against her birth family. Her brother was killed in the fight, but they destroyed the pack. For a while she wandered here and there before she was recruited to The Tesla Group. Her life is spent protecting others now and working for a living. She works from home and on her own so that she is available at any time for her group. Other: Ky is a were wolf, in a not so myth following sense. She can turn into a wolf at anytime she pleases. [[ If my velocity starts to make you sweat... ]] Ladies and gentlemen Truth is now acceptable Fame is now injectable Process the progress Elizabeth was busy writing up her last report. Her tribe had gotten called out to investigate claims of an escaped incubus. Nothing new or interesting there. If she had a nickle for every time they got a case like that... She sighed as she continued writing the report. Desk work was the pits, but as tribe leader it was her job to fill it out and file it.
"Greyfox! You and your tribe need to see me about a new case, ASAP!" The chief bellowed from his door. Liz gave him a salute and continued writing up her report. Whatever he wanted, it couldn't possibly be more important than finishing her - "NOW!"
"Gotcha boss." Liz put down her pencil. Alright, maybe it was more important than paperwork. She made a face and headed down to one of the lower levels where the training rooms were located. She found Sarah and Naomi sparring together. "Chief wants to see us." She said before turning around and disappearing down the hall again. She could hear Naomi curse and grinned lightly. "My sentiments exactly." This core is critical Faith is unavailable Lives become incredible Now please understand that[[ ...Then just don't let go! ]]

[[ And though you can see me smile... ]] If there's a place that I could be, Then I’d be another memory. Can I be the only hope for you? Because you’re the only hope for me. Naomi was just about to win their match when Liz announced that they were wanted in the Chief's office. She was just distracted enough that Sarah was able to come through and take her legs out from under her. She landed on her back with a smack and cursed. "s**t!" She laid there for a moment, gaining her breath back. With a groan, she sat up and shook her head. It had been a good match.
"You're getting better at that." She said as she sat there for a moment. The girl was rather good anyway, and it'd been a long time trying to get Sarah to understand that she shouldn't let it go to waste. "Alright..." She stood and went over to the bench they'd set their things down on. She picked up a water bottle and took a long drink. "I suppose we should go see what the cranky one wants." She said, referring to the chief.
After applying some deodorant and taking another long drink, Naomi headed out and up the stairs. She knew that Liz wouldn't have come to get them if it wasn't that imperative. She sighed lightly. As long as it wasn't another damned incubus case. Those were getting old and rather annoying. They were too easy anymore. And if we can find where we belong, We’ll have to make it on our own. Face all the pain and take it on, Because the only hope for me is you, Alone.[[ ...I still think of the guns they sell! ]]

[[ Everybody wants to change the world... ]] And right here Right now All the way in Battery City The Little children Raised their open filthy palms Like tiny daggers up to heaven. Sarah felt triumphant as she followed Naomi up the stairs. She'd beaten the other girl at a sparring match for once. It was a rather nice feeling, no wonder Nams trained so much. She quietly followed the other girl into the Chief's office where Elizabeth was already waiting for them. She hoped this was important, because neither Liz nor Naomi looked pleased to be here.
"Ladies, if you'll have a seat, what I'm about to tell you is very important." The chief shut the door and closed the blinds. This worried Sarah as she took a chair and crossed her legs, folding her hands in her lap. "Dark Sun Industries has opened a portal into a demon realm." His face was grave as he watched all three of them. She heard Naomi curse and Liz hiss slightly.
"What exactly are their plans with this other dimension?" Sarah wanted to get straight to the point, but they needed answers first.
"No one's certain, but we're sure it's a power plan. We need you girls and a few other tribes to work together to go in after their operatives and shut them down." He said, folding his arms. "You are ready for this job, aren't you?" The question was aimed at Elizabeth, but all three girls nodded at once. There was no denying that Naomi and Liz had been itching for a challenge. Sarah was just along for the ride.
"When do we leave?" She asked, glancing at her three companions. The sooner, the better.
"As soon as your other partners have been chosen." And all the juvee halls And the Ritalin rats Ask angels made from neon and ******** garbage Scream out "What will save us?" And the sky opened up.[[ ...But no one, no one wants to die! ]]

Looks can be deceiving ...
Ky was busy typing a way at her laptop on her desk filing her last report. It was ridiculous all this stuff about demons, banshees, erinyes, yales, etc. It was all simple s**t that she could deal with in her sleep. Sure her little tribe of three was one of a few she was sure that was set up for dealing with supernatural beings that terrorize the better half of society. The earth was running itself into the ground with how weak it was becoming. Used to fighting orcs and nymphs was an actual challenge and something that would seriously threaten an untrained, undisciplined person's life. Now it was an easy wipe out as humanity got weaker, easier to corrupt, and so the demons need not grow as powerful as they once did.
Brushing a strand of hair out of her face she sighed and leaned closer to the computer just to see a figure step into her doorway from the corner of her eye. Trying not to frown she turned to face the chief, if he gave her another stupid assignment she just might quit, and she liked her job. Her cold eyes met the bosses and she cocked her head waiting for him to speak.
"Never could sneak up on you could I Ky?" Ky shook her head slightly and stared at him waiting for him to continue. She used to ask what he wanted, now a days she did not want to know half the time. "I'm really beginning to worry about you Ky, you were never talkative, but now you hardly make a sound. You, Faye, and Hailey need to be in my office as soon as you can round them up." Kyliga looked him over for a moment, a bit more curious now, after all only serious cases got that kind of personal attention.
"Yes sir, we'll be there immediately." Ky pushed back from her desk and stood, by the time she was on her feet the boss was gone. Kyliga was one of the only people that he did not scream orders at, he had made that mistake once. Let's just say that if was not so damn good at her job she probably would not have one, that and she was in favor with the chiefs boss and he stepped in for her.
Closing her laptop down she slipped in its bag and onto her shoulder before she left, locking the door behind her. Strolling down the hallway she peered in different rooms searching for her little group. Faye was in the library and she did not look happy about the interruption, but she put her bookmark in her book and got up. Leaving her there Ky let her long strides carry her on down the hall. Hailey was on the treadmill in the gym partaking in her running fetish for the day and Ky called her a long as well.
By the time Ky got back to the chiefs closed door Faye was waiting for her and Kailey joined them shortly. The three entered as a group to another three already present. Ky looked them over and wondered what this was about. After all very few things now a days required multiple tribes and these were certainly not clients.

... it's what's inside that matters.

Someday we'll live like horses Free rein from your old iron fences There's more ways than one to regain your senses Break out the stalls and we'll live like horses
Hailey brushed the sweat off her face with a dry towel and took a swig of water. She could feel the refreshing liquid spread through her body. The glass enclosed gym was where she often found herself at work. The place kept her in shape for her horse work, whenever she would be able to get back to it. She missed the horses, and she was sure they, as well as everyone else at the barn, missed her. She got home last night to find that Virginia had called her twice and left her a message wondering if she was okay. Hailey knew she would be asleep at the time it was though and had not called her back. She did not wish to talk to the other woman's answering machine, she wanted to be there with her, training the new yearling that she had heard about. Kari looked up at her from where she was laying on the floor and whined a bit.
"I'm okay girl." Hailey squatted down to pet the dog before climbing onto the treadmill and setting it for a rather fast pace. Allowing her thoughts to wander she hoped she would have a challenging job soon. She loved her little tribe here, but at the same time she wished she had more time away. Used to it was not so bad and the things that arose were actually powerful. Oh how Hailey missed those days. Her mind was busy whirring down it's own intricate corridors when an all too familiar voice snapped her out of her reverie. Looking at the numbers on the machine she punched the off button and glanced to Kyliga who had just said the chief wanted to see them.
"I'll be right there," she said with a nod. Stepping off the treadmill she picked up the already damp towel and wiped herself off. Tossing on some deodorant and a hoodie she whistled for Kari. Leaving the gym she remember to flip the light switch. She was the last one to arrive outside the office door and when they stepped in Hailey was surprised to see others already present. Turning to Kari, who could be a bit rambunctious she commanded her to sit and stay. Although the large dog whined she followed the order, situating herself at Hailey's feet.

Sidney Reeves If I only could make a deal with god and get him to swap our places be running up that road, be running up that hill, be running up that building
It doesn't hurt me, let's see how deep the bullet lies. You wanna know? Know that it doesn't hurt me. You. You and me. You and me won't be unhappy. It was getting late and finally the little one stop shop had been cleaned up and shut down for the evening. Sidney waited with the manager for her boy friend to show up and drive her home, the light chill in the air brushing his bare arms before he managed to pull his jacket on. He removed his name tag and tucked it away as he moved around the back to the building to get in his own car and go home. Making his way around the back of the building his eyes found the small lot to be empty. The young man slowed to a stop, looking at the place he parked his car in disbelief, only seeing a bit of shattered glass on the ground. This couldn't be happening. This wasn't happening. He thought back to the beginning of his shift and tried to remember where he had parked his car, begging silently with fate that he had parked some place else. All he came up with was the empty spot before him.
"s**t!" his voice cut loud and sudden through the silence of the back parking lot, frustration filling him. Of all the cars, or all the people; why him? Why did it always have to be him? Why did the world like to s**t on him? He dialed his Uncle's cell phone in vain, leaving a message after several rings. He tried the house next, then opted for the police.
"Hello? Yes? Yeah--my car has been stolen. I-I parked it out here and locked it before my shift at work and now it's just gone and there's glass and s**t on the ground....stuff--sorry," he rattled off into the phone. He sighed heavily as he was transferred and had to repeat his case to someone else. He talked for a while, telling them the make and model along with his plate number. They assured him they contact him if and when they found his car, and advised him to contact his insurance company. With a hollow 'thank you' he sighed, hung up and tried the next number. He figured he might as well start walking while he talked with the insurance company. The walk home would be long, so he went to a bus stop. He waited and after a while his call was finally over.
Sidney rubbed his hands on his face wanted nothing more than to shower and get out of his stupid uniform; it was just slacks, shoes, and a tucked in, collared shirt, but he felt like s**t in it. He slumped into the bench at the bus stop, swearing once more under his breath.

~Faye Reynolds~
Faye shifted a bit in her chair and flipped the page in her book. She was probably too old for this book but fairy tales always intrigued her. Blowing through her mouth she attempted to get the strand of hair that had fallen out of her face and sighed when she had to reach up and brush it away as it fell right back against her nose. A voice from the library doorway caused her to jump a bit as a startled look crossed her face. Pale eyes shifted up to see Ky and she processed what the girl had said.
With a short glare she made a big deal out of putting her bookmark on the page and tossing the book lightly onto the side table, but by then Kyliga was already gone.Placing both hands on the respective arm of the chair she pushed herself up onto her feet. Striding out of the room she let one more longing glance drop on her book before disappearing around the corner. Faye really was not even interested in this, she knew that being called to the chiefs office usually meant a more important job, but things had just become to easy over the past year or two. The job was still interesting, but only barely. She needed a fresh challenge to re-perk her interest. Stopping outside the office door she waited for the other two.
When they stepped in the room Fay gazed around and stood up a bit straighter, she could already tell that this was going to be different than most jobs as of late.
"Alright guys, here's the deal. Someone has finally called us in on Dark Sun industries." He paused here for effect and continued on when they just nodded. "Apparently they have went to far this time. They opened a dimensional portal into an unknown realm, but apparently this dimension has the evil manifestations to destroy the world. You all up for this?" Faye was one of the first to respond, but only barely.
"Hell yeah, we're up for this!" Her voice mingled with the others as they started to agree as well. This kind of thing excited Faye, maybe they were actually going to get to see some action this time.
I feel it's gonna rain like this for days So let it rain down and wash everything away I hope that tomorrow the sun will shine With every tomorrow comes another life

Sidney had been waiting t the bus stop for only a few short minutes when he heard the sound of quick footsteps drawing near. Opened his eyes expecting to see someone hurrying and a bus just off in the distance, he was surprised to find no bus and a small group of people advancing toward him. How could this evening get any worse? Now he was sure they were trying to mug him. However, they didn't seem like they were poor or any sort of street gang. They were dressed fairly normal, slacks and jackets, but they all had the same style of clothes and the same emblem on their shirts; it almost looked like some sort of sun.
Sidney reared back as the largest of the three moved in. He opened his mouth to yell at them to not touch him, plus a few swears, but before he could he felt his body go ridged as pain shot through him. For a moment he was stunned and his eyes found a scrawny guy a few steps behind lower his hands to his sides seeming rather satisfied with himself. How did he do that? More importantly; what did he do? Before he could shake off the stunning effect that had gripped him one of the larger two men placed a moist rag over his nose and mouth, holding it in place until Sidney passed out. Before the veil of darkness enveloped him his last thoughts were that this had to be a dream and he would wake up soon. This couldn't be happening.
When Sidney finally came to he had no way of knowing how long he had been out for, or how far away he was from home. Expecting to see the walls of his bed room he was quite confused by how sore he felt and why he was laying on the ground. He pushed himself up, trying to shake off the groggy feeling of the drugs or whatever it was in his system and looked at his surroundings. His heart sank as he saw with what little light filtered in through a small bared window in a huge metal door that kept him locked in the small dank cell. He took a moment to feel for his things in his pockets and found that he had been stripped and redressed in a robe. Embarrassment filled him as he realized that someone had to have stripped him nude first, and that the robe wasn't more than a flimsy slip that rested on his shoulders and gathered a bit around his gut. The garment fit, but wasn't too flattering.
Sidney's fear and worry was soon replaced by a desperate rage. The blanket that had been laid across him he tossed aside and he pushed himself up. Any hypothetical plan in his head for this sort of situation fled instantly and he rushed to the door and beat against it yelling.
"LET ME ~THE ********~ OUT OF HERE!" his voice echoed down the dimly lit hall, the pitch cracking in desperation. His hands hit hard against the sturdy metal, sending ripples of pain through his fists. Sidney continued to swear and threaten as his hand searched his side for any kind of hand hold, but found none, and found the door the be secure. "What do you want from me? Let me go!" he called out in vain, wondering if anyone could even hear him. Tears stung his eyes, as he turned from the door and did a hasty search of the room, his hands feeling along the walls for some sort of way out. He searched even though he had a distinct feeling he would find nothing.
((Leaving it open to you guys if they are in the other world now or not, I figure it would make things fun to go there now and discover the other world and see both of it's livable places and it's possessed places. lol IDK Also, your group could know that they are collecting sacrifices to appease the demons. Just run with it!))

[[ If my velocity starts to make you sweat... ]] Ladies and gentlemen Truth is now acceptable Fame is now injectable Process the progress Elizabeth listened quietly, eyeing the other tribe quietly. They weren't ones she and the girls had worked with before. How would they work together? Would they be able to get along? She looked at her chief.
"What else do we know about what they're doing? Their modes of operation?" She asked as she leaned back in her chair.
"We know that they've been collecting humans to sacrifice to the demons to appease them. People have been disappearing all over the city. Mainly those who are still sleepers." Sleepers were those that were unaware of the magical, said-to-be mythical world around them. It was illegal and punishable by death to breach and let a sleeper know of their world. Leave it up to the Dark Sun Industries to breach so horribly.
"Sleepers? So we really do have a big case on our hands..." This core is critical Faith is unavailable Lives become incredible Now please understand that[[ ...Then just don't let go! ]]

[[ And though you can see me smile... ]] If there's a place that I could be, Then I’d be another memory. Can I be the only hope for you? Because you’re the only hope for me. Naomi shifted uncomfortably. She couldn't remember when she'd awakened first, but she remembered when she first realized it. She was glad that Liz and Sarah had been there to help her cope. She'd felt awkward and scared, finding a whole new layer to a world she already disliked.
"How many people have gone missing?" She asked, leaning forward, resting her elbows on her knees.
"So far we've counted up to thirty seven." The chief raked a hand through his short cropped hair. "We've got to get a move on ladies. These numbers will only rack up."
Naomi stood. "Then we should probably get going asap." And if we can find where we belong, We’ll have to make it on our own.

Sarah wasn't nearly as antsy as Naomi. "Where's the rift? What other activities have been going on in the other dimension? Who exactly is in charge over there?" She asked, getting some other questions out of the way.
"The rift was created on the west side of town in a suburban area where they can hide easily. No one's sure of what's going on on the other side, but obviously it can't be good. Who's in charge is questionable. No one's seen anyone of seeming importance go in or come out yet." The chief answered her questions quickly.
"So not only are we wanted to shut this thing down, we're running a recon as well."
"You'll be kept in touch with us, yes. We want to know everything you find out."
"Are you sure contact will hold?"
"Nothing's certain at this point, but it's worth the effort."
Sarah nodded, satisfied. She stood and folded her arms. "Alright then, let's get a move on." And all the juvee halls And the Ritalin rats Ask angels made from neon and ******** garbage Scream out "What will save us?" And the sky opened up.[[ ...But no one, no one wants to die! ]]
