Well mainly, its their attitude that counts. If they are the types that don't want to learn more about the fashion and are rude to other girls who try to help them in even the most polite way, then they can be pretty annoying at times. Most girls, however, are nice and willing to learn and just need to be pushed in the right direction.

Most girls, however, are nice and willing to learn and just need to be pushed in the right direction. I agree completely I feel that lolita has been only full of girls who think they're better than everything else on the planet lately, when their attitudes are the pits and it urges me when they call their outfits lolita cosplay and when they don't were their petti TT__TT I hate it so much!!!

Same same, it really gets me when they have a rude, catty, bitchy, "I'm a special snowflake princess" attitude towards people who are trying to help them and being as polite as possible and in the end they cry and act like victims and push themselves in the spotlight of "special".

While admittedly there are super bitchy, self-entitled girls who will criticize any outfit that isn't "burando." There are an equal amount of girls who can't handle criticism even if it is constructive.
That's fashion as is.
I think "ita" is a really vulgar word too... it's a synonym for "vomit." =/
So I would think about that before you use it to describe a personality that is more "weeabo" than anything.

i think people should be able to wear whatever they wish without judgement smile not that i'm a particular fan of cosplay lolita, but if it makes some people happy why not.

I understand how it is used in reference to "ita" lolitas. However I have seen it used in japanese script, roughly translated as "vomit." While it is not out of the question that the translator could have been mistaken, it seems obvious that if the word has such a negative connotation it is a truly rude thing to say. Also, to clarify since you must have misunderstood me, when people use the word "ita" it is generally in reference to people that ressemble a more "weeabo"-like behavior. So in those instances I don't think "ita" is really the word that people should use when they could really say something more specific like "childish" OR "needs a better petticoat for that skirt" etc.

I think it's fine if they're at least willing to learn from their mistakes. Or if they're "going to be getting a petti but want to wear it to look cute." (I've been in that boat.)

I'm going to be honest and say that in my personal opinion, I think that elitists are FAR worse than "itas". Most girls who would be pegged in the "ita" category are usually new to the fashion and need some nudging in the right direction. And, being completely honest, I think it's a phase we all go through. But, the ones who look down on other people for their lack of brand, or being more curvacious, or wearing Bodyline drive me nuts. And, it's funny because a lot of times, all they ever do is buy the same outfit featured on the model. How can anyone expect a fashion to progress if there is so much prejudice? But, that's just my thought on the matter... emotion_c8
