Lately I have gotten a few pms regarding what a lot of new members on Gaia refer to as Noob Bashing.
I want to take the time to tell every member that these "Noob Bashers" can be dealt with calmly and prove that just because you are new does not mean you are a "noob"
If someone approaches you on zMOG, the forums, or even in towns and makes you feel poorly about being new BLOCK THEM! Don't listen to them you have more of a right to be on Gaia then they do. They may have been on way longer than you but if their one pleasure is to go around and make any one of you feel poorly about you being new means that they have insecurities on their own accord. Everyone has been new at one point or another.
I encourage any one who tells you that you are a noob to block them. There is no sense in dealing with senseless people.
And to those of you who have been noob bashed I give you my sorry and speak for the good part of Gaia when I say sorry for the mistreatment. You are a Gaian just like all of us, and I want to put an end to the noob bashing. Because the date you joined shouldn't matter enough to make fun of it.

I've noticed this too.
Once I tried talking to some one they said "go away noob" and walked away. All I said was "hi". D:
