This can be just the place for people who want to test out anything for anyone's OC's or just to mess around in terms of combat.
RULES
1. Don't go overboard with the attacks if you are fighting with someone; make it decently fair so that your opponent can fight back.
2. To make things more by chance and less 1 sided you can go by dice (THIS IS OPTIONAL). Each character has 50 hp, and your damage die and resistance die are each 12 sided. I think you are intelligent enough to know how the dice work. They determine how much damage or if you hit the opponent, and the resist determines how much damage you can take or if you can avoid.
Ex.
I roll my damage die and get a 10, you roll your resist and get an 8, my attack hits, and causes 2 damage. then its your turn and you roll a 7 and I roll a 9, I take no damage because my resistance was higher than the initial damage dealt.
3. If any character has a one-shot kill/K.O. kind of move or something very very powerful, roll a 20-sided die and see the results. 10 or below and it misses or is blocked.11 or higher and it hits. However you can’t use it constantly, cuz that would be hax.
4. Obviously you can agree on who fights who, and NO INTERRUPTIONS. I’ll have Lihii push the reset button on you if you try to mess with someone else’s fight. Or if push comes to shove, delete the post.
5. Remember this is still part of the OCC area, you can fool around in terms of chatting on the side lines. Really imagine this being a fighting arena/ring, and there are seats on the sidelines for spectators.
6. If you don't want to fight another character, you can simply 'practice' against one or more reanimated gladiators and other things. i.e. test out your own things and see if anyone else has an opinion.
7. There can also be another chance based idea, a grappling function. There'd be 4 levels of grapple, a light damage "grapple", requires a 6 or higher from a 20 sided die to escape or break out of, a lvl 2 does more and requires a 10, lvl 3 requires a 13 and a lvl 4 reuires an 18; lvl 4 can be considered a finisher, and can only be used one an opponent's hp is below 7; In addition, they can be used if your resist is higher then your opponents attack, in terms of a counter.
8. Be a bit creative with your attacks, counters and grapples in descriptions, it should make things a lot more fun. Hopefully...
9. I will on occasion set up special challenges to anyone who wants to give a whack at it. Rules are a little bit different in those, first off, the characters you'd be going against ARE OVERPOWERED. HOWEVER, think of it as an endurance match. You get 100 hp, and the dice are the same, but as for damage, you receive double the normal amount. Every few posts/turns, the contestant will be caught in a situation where if they can get out of it or even survive the hit is based on the dice. There will be a total of 5 make or break moments before a technical victory via timeout. The big thing here is, if you are lucky enough to win, you get gold, as in around 10K+, for your time and trouble.
10. I can change any of these rules or add at any given time. Chotto can do this as well.
