About Me: Name: Psycho.Origami aka 'Gami Age: 18 Birthday: November 17th 1989 Likes: Cloudy days, the color blue, scarves, my OCs, baking, and cleaning (most of the time!) Dislikes: Loud noises, the dark, semi-trucks and big cars
Hi! I'm 'Gami and.. this is my little plug-post about myself. I'm not very introspective so I don't know what else to talk about that has to do with me. I think everyone else is more interesting than I am since I'm kinda boring. ^^; I hope one day to be a pastry chef and maybe even decorate wedding cakes for a living.

Journal:Unspecified Date- Valerie Bakes Muffins: Valerie paced anxiously in front of the oven. Over-sized oven mitts covered her tiny hands, sliding off once in awhile even. Every few seconds or so she would peer into the oven window; trying to see if her light and fluffy experiment was a soft golden-brown yet. Normally she was more patient when baking, but since it was a new recipe she rewrote mostly herself, she was nervous. Making-up pastries wasn't really her forte, which lies in beverages, but it was something she had always aspired to try.
As a few more minutes passed she stopped pacing and remained squatting in front of the oven. She dare not open the door until the timer went off, that would disrupt the delicate balance of heat that the muffins relied on. Eyes racing from the timer to the oven door, time seemed to slow down.
Tick.. Tick... Tick.... Tick..... Dong!
Valerie jumped, falling back on her rear. Even though she was anticipating the timer to go off, it always made her jump. She quickly scrambled up to her feet, not bothering to dust herself off, and at long last, opened the oven door. A rush of hot air blew in her face, along with the sweet aroma of fresh banana-nut muffins. (A simple recipe on its own, but Valerie added her own touch to them.) Carefully she slid the tray from the oven and set it on a pot-holder. Then she panicked, where was the cooling rack? The muffins had to be perfect! She went through the cupboards until she came across a smaller cooling rack than what she was looking for. But at this point anything would do.
She let out a heavy sigh of relief and began to relocate the muffins. As she came to the last muffin she hit another minor dilemma, the last muffin wouldn't fit. Now Valerie realized that fretting over all these petty things was silly, but she couldn't help it at the time.
After much deliberation, she decided to keep the last muffin in the muffin-tin. That one would be burnt, but that one she could keep for herself. She planned on giving the rest away.
[This silly silly adventure is to be continued!!]
