Ⅹ ＪａＸｉＮｅ Ⅴ  Jaxine walked through the portal as well and both she and the boy ended up at Beast's Castle. She looked around, taking in her surroundings, then decided to wear her hood because she felt more comfortable like that. As she was done doing that she looked at the boy, "Seeing you're new, I might need to explain some stuff. We are not supposed to be seen or heard, so please don't get me in trouble by making yourself known. With that, we need to be done as quickly as possible. Got it?" "Hm, you know what... lets be interesting." The girl turned towards the castle in front of them. "You lead the way, for now." "I wonder what he's up to... " "Am I even serving the right side?"

he looked around the large dark room as the girl spoke taking in the history of the castle shadows. "very well. if you want me to lead then lets go to the ballroom, i am interested in this shadow thorns powers" with that he walked up to the castle stairs not making a single sound. briefly he turned and spoke again "be careful of those statues, they are posessed"

Ⅹ ＪａＸｉＮｅ Ⅴ "Shadow thorns?" Jaxine asked, not really knowing what he was talking about. She figured it was most likely a Heartless, seeing it sounded like one. The boy then said something about those statues. "Statues can't harm me," she answered shortly as she wondered how this guy knew all this. Yet it was very useful seeing this was a recon mission and he already knew a lot, somehow. As they reached the doors to the ballroom, she opened it carefully, making sure there was no one else inside, and walked in. "Well, here we are..." "I wonder what he's up to... " "Am I even serving the right side?"

upon entering the room a dark aura surrounded a spot in the center of the room and materialized into a large black and red heartless seemingly weakened by a previous battle. with a grim smile the boy said "i think that this would be a perfect time to test what else i can do"

although his body stayed relaxed the boys red eyes gave a vicious look. "you said not to be seen or heard right? then i think that my darkness could be useful here." with that a pitch black aura rivaling that of the heartless radiated from his body.

Ⅹ ＪａＸｉＮｅ Ⅴ Jaxine looked at the Heartless with a frown, then at the boy. Wouldn't it be a bit dangerous for someone like him to fight using Darkness against something like this if he doesn't even know what he's capable of? She sighed and shrugged it off, thinking about the last thing he had said, wondering if he even knew what her power was. Most likely not. He seemed pretty sure about his own power though. Which was hopefully good. "Then stop talking and lets kill it. Even though the mission was recon, not go off to the most powerful Heartless and defeat it." She summoned her bladed gauntlets that were made of nothingness, the weapons she called Eternity. Nodding at the boy, she waited for him to attack the Heartless first, seeing he wanted to fight it so badly. "I wonder what he's up to... " "Am I even serving the right side?"

the shadows around the boy deepened at this as he stretched his hands as if to lash out like a heartless. quickly the darkness rushed to his fingertips and extended outward forming long chains tipped with black knives. "looks like its time to prove myself" he said as he lunged toward the looming creature, his weapons moving as if with minds of their own burrowing deep into the hands, legs and neck of the heartless as dark bolts travelled through the chains stunning it before it could lash out

Ⅹ ＪａＸｉＮｅ Ⅴ Jaxine watched the boy for a short while, chuckling to herself as she saw how this was his first time fighting with his new powers and it immediately went pretty well. It was also nice to see he wanted to prove himself, actually. It was better then being as lazy as Demyx was. After a short moment, the girl lunged at the Heartless herself, slashing at it at first, but as she got hit by one of it's attacks she just kept at a distance, shooting ethereal beams at it to do damage anyway. "I wonder what he's up to... " "Am I even serving the right side?" [OoC: I suck at writing battles, especially against Heartless. -_-')

he spoke as if nothing was happening "we may want to finish this quickly" he began to tear at the giant with a series of arcing slashes. the dark thorn caught one of the chains midflight and whipped him to the other side of the room, hitting hard on a stone column. just as he got up to fight again it dissapeared from sight. "it looks like we have a problem"

Ⅹ ＪａＸｉＮｅ Ⅴ Jaxine saw her partner getting hit as well and frowned. They seriously were dealing with a giant Heartless here. She just hoped they would get an extra reward from Saïx for the extra work they did. This was a recon mission, not defeat a giant Heartless! The moment she was about to slash at the thing again, it disappeared from sight. The girl looked around, "Where did it went off to?" Before she could say anything else, there was a strange light coming from the big windows on the other side of the room. "That doesn't look good..." she said, now seeing something blue coming her way. She quickly teleported out of the way, towards the upper level of the room. When the attack was over she jumped down and glanced over at the boy to see how he was doing. "I wonder what he's up to... " "Am I even serving the right side?"

the boy had managed to dodge the attack by ducking behind the pillar he had hit. as the creature leapt from the window towards the chandelier he seemed amused realising that it was so cowardly. he stepped out of the pillar of the shadow and caught the chandelier with his chains. quickly it swung towards the oncoming monster, batting it away. he called up to his partner "go now! before he takes something else!"

Ⅹ ＪａＸｉＮｅ Ⅴ Jaxine was glad to see the boy was okay, and watched as he did another attack. She heard his comment and answered: "Got it! Stay on a distance though, would hate to hurt you." The girl jumped closer to the Heartless, dodging another attack, then leaped up in the air and released a wave made of Nothingness at the being. It was send back a few feet, and before it could do anything else she quickly hit it with her weapons, jumped back and send another wave of Nothingness at it, making the Heartless hit the pillars. She saw the boy being closer to their enemy now and decided he could do the final attack. "Shuxan, destroy it! Now!" Jaxine simply watched, being quite sure he could take the weakened Heartless out with ease but not letting her weapons disappear yet seeing she couldn't be too careful. "I wonder what he's up to... " "Am I even serving the right side?"

as jaxine spoke he shot toward the weakened heartless with his chains swinging wildly. the blades tore deep into the creature as it tried to defend itself to no avail. he decided a little revenge was fitting end after the heavy blow it had dealt earlier. the chains snapped tight around its head as shuxan walked behind the pillar jaxine had knocked it into. with all his strength he pulled it back into the stone structure, smashing its head. he looked back at his partner with a half mad look still ligering in his eye as the dark body began to dissapate. "looks like thats the end of him, not a bad fight wouldnt you say?"

Ⅹ ＪａＸｉＮｅ Ⅴ Jaxine watched as the boy finished the Heartless, then glanced at him and saw the mad look in his eyes. If she wasn't a Nobody, it surely would've scared her. "Not a bad fight, no." She agreed, although she quickly added: "Could've been a better one though." Making her weapons disappear, she examined the place they were in. "From what I've seen, this place is more ''cheerful'' than the rest of this castle... why would the Heartless hide here?" Her mind was back to their real mission: recon. "Oh, you do understand what recon is about, right?" The girl asked as she made her way towards Shuxan. "It's not about fighting Heartless, it's about being as quiet as possible and gaining as much information about the place as possible in the least amount of time. "I wonder what he's up to... " "Am I even serving the right side?"
