Welcome to Du'Ragon Central, the official roleplay thread for the Du'Ragon pets.
The city of Du'Ragon appears a bit old fashioned. There's houses built that resemble many time eras. Want to live in a part of town that appears like the Old West? What about Victorian houses? There's log cabins, teepees, modern houses and more! Despite the differences in appearance, every house has electricity and indoor plumbing. The only truly old fashioned part of Du'Ragon lies on the outskirts of town, where the Wylde Du'Ragon have their havens and homes high in the trees and rely on nature around them for their every need.
Other roleplay threads may be created in the future to represent specific areas of interest but consider this the main thread and the starting location would be the Town Center where there's a gorgeous pond.
Be careful though. Du'Ragon seems like a peaceful place but there's monsters that attack on occasion and of course, not ever Du'Ragon will get along with each other.

Tah'rein snorted slightly, skipping a rock on the pond as he sat there. Aside him his faithful companion Grubs was laying there, watching with idle interest as each stone eventually sank. What he really wanted was something to do, but... took too much effort. And effort was something he didn't wan tto put out.
Not now, anyway. Not without good gains.

In a casual manner, a adult male Du'ragon sauntered over to the pond's edge and flopped down beside it, spreading his clawed feet out in front of him where he sat. Blond hair fell across dark blue eyes currently filled with amusement, over what it wasn't really certain. Stalking up behind him, a raggedy old ginger cat travelled to the water's edge and sat down, then sat staring at his reflection in the pond. The Du'Ragon, named Brander, lounged back in an idle manner. It was times like this he just liked to relax, and watch others... flinging rocks around. Not that it was incredibly interesting, but it was something to do.
Brander yawned, and turned his gaze to the cat. Tentatively the ginger-furred moggy dipped his paw into the cool liquid but immediately withdrew it with a look of disgust. The Du'Ragon chuckled briefly, the smile longering minutes afterwards on his handsome face. His posture was one of relaxation but also held an innate confidence. Brander had been around, and he knew what this world was about.

Armand glared up into the sky. The warm rays of sunlight showered down.
"Blasted sun" Grumbling beneath his breath. Armand looked toward the occupied pond and then looked for a place of shade.
"Come on Margrave" Armand led his dragon toward a shadey spot beneath a tree. Flopping down upon the ground he watched the other two closely.
Lifting his hands into the air he began to practice the ancient art of elemental magic. Flames of fire, shards of earth, balls of wind, and waves of water emerged from his palms.

Tah'rien stopped after a bit, noticing the other company here at the pond, and amused himself as Grubs rose up slightly at the sight of the cat. "Now now, Grubs, no chasing the kitty today," he admished, although he looked bemused at the thought of it happening. His attention focused intently then on Armand - both for his different appearance, and also ... because he was using the elements.
Least the one with the cat was more like him all around. He grunted slightly, skipping another rock.
Grubs inched a ltitle closer towards where the cat was, but remained close enough to Tah'rien. Still, he was leering fairly intently to see what the cat would do.

Brander quirked an eyebrow, his blue gaze locked onto the strange Du'Ragon seated under a tree nearby, who was using a power that was incredibly rare. Bran's own strength was in his speed. He could run faster than anything, a really useful feat. Yes, very impressive, controlling the elements.
The ginger cat's ear twitched slightly as he glanced around and saw the dog staring at him. He seemed unconcerned at the creatures rapt gaze and began to lick him paw clean. His ear twitched again and he glanced up at the dog to see what it was doing before returning to his washing, apparently ignoring the other familiar completely.
Then the fog rolled in, obscuring both the cat's and Bran's sight. "Oh... how annoying."

Oh.... lovely. Lunatic called in fog. Tah grumbled to himself, reaching out to pull Grubs back close. Never know what crazy thigns might happen when you can't see... then again, he was used to using obscuration for striking...
He grinned slightly, attentive. He heard slight speaking, and contented himself with remaining resting, even as Grubs listened and watched as well.
Of course, fog could always call in a monster... which would be bad. Well, bad for others. Tah wouldn't mind the excitement.

A small ball of yellow seemed to come out of nowhere into the center of the town all alone... The young baby Du'ragon looked around with it's tiny eyes at it's surroundings, seemingly amazed at how big everything seemed to him. He slowly crawled around and tried to take everything in, though his mind was only beginning to develop. He looked over and saw a strange looking thing sticking up out of the ground. It looked both intimidating and inviting. It was a tree. He crawled over to it and snuggled up against the trunk, grabbing his scarf with his little paws and quickly falling asleep.
(( xD Pretty much all I can do at this point. Lawl. ))

This fog was pretty thick. To experiment, Brander waved a hand in front of his face. Gosh, he could barely even see the outline. Putting his hand down to lean on it, he just happened to manage getting his cat's tail. With a hiss the ginger cat darted away into the fog, leaving Brander laughing.
Finally the fog began to clear, and a dark outline could be seen as Armand approached. A grin rose on Brander's lips as the creature bowed and said hello. Lifting a paw in greeting, he replied. "Heya. Lovely day for some fog." His tone wasn't mocking or angry, it was a very companionable voice, a voice that welcomed Armand in enjoying his amusement.
Meanwhile the ginger cat, named Gamble, had wandered off and was trying to look like he didn't give a damn about having his tail stood on. Just then the appearance of a funny little object caught his attention and the cat stalked over to have a look, his tail high. Piercing eyes stared down at the baby Du'Ragon that had just fallen asleep, and then, as if he thought it was a fairly good idea, Gamble also lay down. Curling himself into a ball, the cat closed his eyes and feigned sleep.

Armand shook the Du`Ragons hand.
"Fog?" Armand glimced around slightly confused.
"Oh.. oh yeah! By the way I go by the name Armand" A smile grew on the vampires face. Sharp teeth bared, protruding his mouth. Margrave nipped at Armand's legging, feeling left out of the introduction.
"Oh and this little annoying fellow is Margrave" Armand shot an evil You're going to get it later! type of glare at his dragon companion.

The baby Du'ragon, feeling the sudden warmth, snuggled close to the cat. He made a cute little sound of joy and became silent once again.

Brander shook Armand's hand with a grin, nearly breaking into a fit of chuckles when the Du'Ragon seemed to have no idea what he'd meant by the fog. At least the stuff was beginning the clear now. "Nice to meet you Armand. The names Brander."
Glancing down at the newly introduced familiar Brander smiled and then pointed over at where Gamble lay with the baby Du'Ragon. "And that's Gamble. Don't expect much from him though." Vaguely Bran wondered whose kid that was. Later he'd have to go take a look.
Meanwhile the ginger cat had lifted his head to glance down at the fuzzy babe that had just curled up against him. Flicking his tail once he then put his head down, not minding the closeness. The cute little thing was rather warm anyway.

"Nice to meet you as well Brander" Armand smiled taking a seat at the edge of the pond.
He stared out to the forest that lay not to far. Hmm... what out there? Margrave found his way next to his master. Leaving a trail of smoke in his wake.
