xxxYour charming son/daughter has been accepted to study abroad with us on the Disney Cruise. You either have paid to go to this school or you won a scholarship onto it. Your child will be one of the kids that will be traveling across the sea and learning many things while we head to new places. Classes take place on the ship, just like any other school. We'll be traveling place to place. Even stopping at some places to learn of the cultures and history for classes.Your child shouldn't worry, this isn't a boring cruise ship. We have many activities for them to enjoy when they're not busy with school. Plus, they have a chance of making friends with other students from around the world!
So, we welcome your son/daughter to our school with wide open arms!
- Mr. Gaston~ School had just started up and it seemed like it would be like all the years before, consisting with you doing bogus school work and spending time with friends when you had the chance.
Then while waking up one early morning you see your parents hovering over your bedside with a thick brochure in their hands, an open letter with it also and grinning faces. They say that they had sent in an application for you to go on a Disney Cruise and you got accepted. You get all excited at first thinking your friends, probably girlfriend / boyfriend, or your parents would be going with you, but your parents quickly shove the letter in your face and begin explaining that you will be studying abroad and that meant you would be meeting leaving by yourself, and be meeting new people. Strangers.
These are people that have been accepted from all over the world just like you have to this one cruise ship. Where you board the ship is at Fort Lauderdale, Florida. So your parents sent you on your way, though it was clear you were not going to enjoy the cruise at all.

Eighteen applicants have been picked out of a hundred to be the first to study abroad on the Disney Cruise. Each one may come from a different background or country, but they all have one thing in common. They're being forced by their guardians to leave their friends and home for a complete unknown place with strangers.
Over the course of the year many things can happen with these teens. Love may bloom, hatred may sprout, and long-time friendships may form.

First things first I'm not expecting novels. This role play will be a lit to lit-break, so just a couple of paragraphs. One will even do, if it has good details and isn't only three or hours lines long.
As for cursing, I don't really care. Teenagers swear, but not every single other word, okay?
If reserve a spot and you don't send in the profile before four days of sending in your reservation I'm going to have to free the spot.

Until she was five she resided in the village; her father immediately moved her and himself away from the village after a truly gloomy, bitter winter. In the middle of January, Gabrielle mother was walking along the village road back to their mini cottage from a long day of work. Fresh snow lined the grown and was piling in deep, that why people assumed that the car had not see the edge of the sidewalk; the snow must have blended it in... The car had driven onto the sidewalk and slammed her mother into the wall, and she was instantly gone.
From the age of five and up, Gabrielle lived in Dublin, Georgia on a small farm someway away from the actual town. It was a huge change, living in a small village in France to a small town in the United States. The change effected her father more, and not in a fairly good way. That would be the reason they did not live directly in the town. Since there was no other kids to play with nor did they have animals at the time, Gabrielle found herself beginning to read adventure book for children that grew slowly into fantasy novels. Her father was proud, for his daughter was becoming an intelligent young lady, who put all the other girls to ashamed, for not only did she have knowledge but she had beauty also. Exactly like her mother... Though the beauty part did not help at all for she always attracted male's attention that she did not want. And her knowledge made things slightly worst for she was considered an odd one in the town.That never did stop her from being who she truly was though. If anything, her father taught her to be herself, and not be afraid of what other think or pay any attention to their words. Of course he'd know, for he was considered a high-class weirdo in the town, being an inventor, who inventions tended not to work so well.
Besides having her nose in a book all day, Gabrielle also tended to the animals on the farm, a few chickens, a rooster, three goats, a pig, and a horse. The horse always was her favorite, mainly because it looked exactly like a stuffed horse her mother had given her as an infant. Naturally she gave the horse the same name as her stuffed animal, Phillipe. He was always used for transportation; since her father never earned much money they couldn't afford a car.
The money issues always caused her grandparents t fret and send care packages. Her grandparents on her father side, that is. Her father's side of the family happen to be filthy rich, so all of her more expensive, glossy items came from them or the money they sent. Her grandparents on her mother side sent more natural things, flowers and cards. Sometimes baskets and such items homemade. Her mother side of the family came from the village she had been born in, hence why they had lived there in the beginning years. Even though her grandparents from her father side showered her with expensive items, she often regretted getting such gifts. For she always had been for the simple lifestyle.
Gabrielle truly enjoys her life, even if it is just her father, a few animals, and herself living on the farm. Wнαт Yσυ Mυsт Kησω ♬ Born in Eastport, Maine, a moderately sized town beside the Atlantic seaside near the Canadian boarder, Piper Reneé Greene was the youngest born out of six other sisters (in order, oldest to youngest: Penelope Ruthe, Phoebe Rachelle, Paige Roslyn, Pauline Rebecca, Pamela Roxanne, and Priscilla Rose) to a loving, married couple. They were moderately wealthy, as her father was the mayer of the town, as well as an expert fisherman, while her mother stayed home with the girls, teaching them song and dance, and how to be proper young women. It was a happy, cheerful household, full of adventure and love.
On a cold, winter night when Piper was barely the age of four, her parents had left for an outing, leaving the seven girls with their most trusted friend, Horatio Sebastian, and ended up getting into an accident, leaving Piper and her sister's mother without a mother and a heartbroken father. After this incident, her father turned cold and hard on her and her sisters, turning their humble home into somewhat of a prison, at least to Piper, who was most affected.
As each of her sisters soon moved out and away, Piper was left alone with her father, and was yearning for a way to escape Eastport. Though she begged her sisters to take her with them wherever they went, they wouldn't take her. Piper knew her father loved her dearly, but she wanted to see the world, finding out who she really was. When she learned of Disney Abroad, it was her chance to fly. She saved all of her money, and pleaded for her father to let her go, that she would pay him back the rest of the money when she returned. Though it took a lot of convincing, her father ultimately let her keep her money, paid for it all himself, kissed her goodbye, and sent her off on her journey.
Hσω I Tεη∂ Tσ Acт ◊ Piper is a highly curious and odd individual, and has always been the one to be strange and a little "off". She frequently finds herself getting lost or in dangerous situations, but only with the most... semi-innocent intentions, but she does enjoy the thrill of it all. This redhead is impulsive, quirky, straightforward, headstrong, intrigued, and is always up for an adventure, and once she's done with one, she's out searching for the next. Frustratingly stubborn, Piper rarely takes other's advice, and does as she choses, and usually goes with her gut feeling, however she is still quite a bright and clever young women, who asked a multitude of questions, which sometimes may surprise others. Though, she is quite naive, and sometimes may put trust and faith towards the wrong people, as she becomes blinded by emotional desires, such as a love interest.
But Piper never judges anyone, and is always up for making a new friend, no matter what rumors she has heard; she doesn't bother with that kind of stuff, anyway. Often she is told that she is sweet and nice, and she is even more so with her friends, however when she is comfortable she is always up for a little teasing with jokes and a good laugh. In love, she is quick to fall, and also quick to fall out, but it is never shallow; she's just searching for the right guy. She gets nervous quite easily around her crush(s), but tries to be as straightforward and honest as possible, however she would prefer the make the first move.
In every way, Piper is still searching for her true self, and desires to explore the world and others to find those parts of her that she feels are missing, so she can finally feel whole.

My birth mother died from a sickness, and my birth father didn't know what to do with me. So he left me there, where an official found me. I was taken to an orphanage in Moscow, and stayed there till I was 7, when I was adopted by the Kirklands, who came to Moscow with their 12 year old son for holiday that summer. Arthur Kirkland is a consultant for several major companies, and his wife, Ellie, is a novelist. Their son, Peter, is at college on a football scholarship, and one of the best friends I could ever have, despite being almost 6 years older than me.
We've lived in New York City, Houston, Los Angeles, and Washington D.C. Despite the moving around, I've never made many friends, and have always felt more at home in the Kirklands' extensive library. I have always been on sports teams since living with the Kirklands, but of my own choice, I am usually involved with non-contact sports, as I have a habit of getting into fights. His father was a sea captain, always traveling across the vast ocean for work and to escort people. His mother passed on when he was four, an illness taking her. His father now had no choice but to bring his son along. Grimsby looked after Charles on the ship, pretty much being his manservant. He attempted to teach the boy how to be a proper boy, not some adventure seeking dare-devil, but he failed.
As the years passed by, the young lad found that he yearned to stay in once place longer than a few days. Yet, he didn't want to stop traveling either. He still loved the thrill of adventure, he just wanted friends. Grimsby didn't count much as a friend for he was so boring. And sometimes even Max, his sheep-dog, couldn't cheer him up and take the place of human-friends.
At the age of seventeen, Charles father died from an illness that resembled the illness his mother had been taken by. His father was the only family he had left, luckily Grimsby swept in and claimed the boy to be his now legal son. The first thing the man did for the boy was signed him up for the Disney's Study Aboard school. Charles was thankful for the man, and for the fact he'd be able to still travel the sea, and make friends that were his age. Maybe even find the girl of his dreams. Hσω I Tεη∂ Tσ Acт ◊ Confident and brave, he isn't afraid to be challenged in anything. He has to be active; if he is still for to long he tends to stress out. He enjoys having fun, and any activity can bring him joy for it doesn't take much to make the lad happy. Even though he was raised in a rich way, simple things can bring a smile to his face; the smell of the ocean, running around on a ship playing fetch with Max, anything really. His father was a large, pompous man, but proud of his newborn son, and his mother was happy and loved him, with all of her heart. Two years later, she became pregnant again, with a baby girl, and this excited the whole family. At the end of the pregnancy, his mother went into labor, but the child was a still-born, which broke both of Clyde's parents' hearts. His mother after this catastrophe, became mentally ill and eventually died of a broken heart, leaving Clyde and his father alone.
Over the years, his father became an insensitive, cruel alcoholic who often forced him into doing what he wanted for him, and often Clyde had to run the cattle ranch and pay bills on his own, without a motherly figure around. Though his father was never intentionally abusive toward him, Clyde vowed to himself he would never turn out like his father, and he became the sensitive, but cautious, and responsible. When he reached his junior year of high school, Clyde decided he was sick of the small Southern town he was raised in and all the people in it, and raised enough money to leave for the Disney Cruise to escape his troublesome father and his wild ideas of marrying the girls in the town, and see if he can find that one girl. Hσω I Tεη∂ Tσ Acт ◊ Brave and straightforward, Clyde is a tall young man who is always a gentleman, and will constantly be the first to stand up for what is right, no matter who or what he is against. He is a strong believer that what is good and right will always come out first. Fighting another person for the sake of truth and righteousness is no problem with him, but he has to have a real reason to do this, as he doesn't jump at the chance to get into a fist fight with someone. Though he may seem tough and a bit careless and easygoing in exterior, Clyde is smarter than others give him credit for, he's just a bit quiet. With his friends, he is energetic and witty, and some may call him persuasive because he can turn other's words around on them. But usually, he is an optimistic, but stubborn guy who goes out of his way to make sure everything is balanced, as he hates injustice.
Though on the flip-side, Clyde is a huge romantic and is big on making a girl feel like she's the only one in his life. However, it is rare that he finds a girl such as this that is worth his time. He is not searching for someone with status or wealth, but someone who is down to earth and a real woman; someone he can be himself with. Wнαт Yσυ Mυsт Kησω ♬ Growing up as an orphan in Melbourne, Australia, Ramsey stayed within the boarders of an all-boys Catholic Orphanage. Despite all of couples who came, Ramsey was not once considered to be adopted out, which led to him becoming the oldest of the bunch of boys, which he had deemed "The Lost Boys", as well as the leader. Throughout the years, Ramsey developed a disliking for adults, deciding that if they didn't like him, he didn't have to like them. He never did real well in school, and his accomplishments were often either ignored or he was given very little praise for, as half the time he was in punishment for his behavior and encouraging the other boys to do the same.
He was ultimately sent to Disney Abroad mainly as a way of getting rid of him letting him broaden his horizons, mostly because he has never really been outside of the city. Ramsey raised most of the money himself the previous summer, ready to meet new people, and create new adventures. Hσω I Tεη∂ Tσ Acт ◊ Upon meeting young Ramsey, one might soon realize he is quite in touch with his inner-child. A little rash, quick with wit, and always full of pranks and jokes, this boy has absolutely no femininity to him at all, and tends to focus all of his attention on the things that others find childish and a waste of time. Ramsey is careless, and occasionally is deemed insensitive and oblivious to how other's feel around him. He sometimes finds it difficult to express certain feelings to others, such as affection or love, since he was raised in a home full of males and never fully had that motherly care. Therefore, he attempts to find other outputs, that don't seem as vulnerable to him, as vulnerability terrifies him, which causes him to be a little reckless and impulsive in behavior towards others, and when he's upset, he acts like a child who just lost their favorite toy. When he's full of brute honestly, girls find him insulting, boys find him amusing.
Though at times his peers may find him obnoxious and the class clown, Ramsey is fearless, full of heart and optimism, and a fighter and protector. He can come off as quite the charming and brave young man, heroic and fun in every way, and is never a bore; every moment with him is an adventure. His mother walked out on him and his father at a young age, and his father never settled down with another woman, so as a child growing up different women were in the house every other day. You could say that the way his father treated women showed him that the only use for them was fun, that's it.
His father was a avid hunter, and many of the hunting trips Allen was brought along to witness how much fun the killing of an animal was. That was how he started hunting, and that most likely is the largest part of him that is related to the state he is from. However, he lived in the city were he flirted constantly with girls and out-did the other males of his school. He was admired by all in school, even though he was not the brightest he was the strongest and most handsomest, which were the only thing that mattered. His final year of high school and his grandmother is forcing him to Study Aboard because she thinks his father has always ruined the young man enough. Wнαт Yσυ Mυsт Kησω ♬ Raphael Lysander Gallo was born in Spain, but since his mother's true roots were in the heart of Ireland, his family moved to Dublin when he was around the age of two, and was raised there his entire life. Raphael, though he was born into a rich family, with three older brothers, never ever felt like he belonged. When things were put in front of him, he always rejected it, because he felt like he wanted to accomplish something and receive things in his own way. When he was thirteen, he decided to create a gang of boys (most of them stupid) that he could control, and called them his "crew". On the Dublin streets, they were often called pirates, because they went and stole from around stores and other places, despite Raphael had plenty of cash to burn. It was the thrill of it that made him do it, and the rest of the kids just thought they were being cool.
Being the ringmaster of the circus made him top dog, and Raphael soon realized that the girls really digged the "bad boy" exterior, and this made him more attracted to the female species, and it fed his ego. As he got more and more into unwholesome things and committed more crimes, his parents decided to send him off to a place that was basically the complete opposite: Disney Abroad. Though Raphael was a bit... upset at first, to leave his crew and all the lovely ladies, he soon realized that it was a decent chance that he was willing to take. With packed bags, shades over his eyes, and an abnormally cheery attitude, Raphael flew to the Americas with his family, where he spent the last two weeks of his freedom chasing the skirts of American girls, ready to chase more cultural skirts as soon as he hopped on that ship. Hσω I Tεη∂ Tσ Acт ◊ If one met Raphael for the first time, they would notice his unlimited amount of charm and flirtatiousness, the fact that he can sweep a woman off of her feet with ease, and his casual, but excitable demeanor. He's a very bewitching young man, who often has one (or even more) girls on his arm, and is quite romantic and wise with his choice of words, especially around with the ladies, and is often labeled as "the bad boy". He tends to be manipulative and persuasive, but only to those he finds stupid enough to believe him. He respects those whom are on the same level as him, but if he finds them as competition for something that he himself desires, he will quickly feel betrayed, and seek revenge, and go all out to steal this person's possessions (ie. girl, friends, etc), and bring them beneath him. Raphael, though those who know of him often fear him, may find that he has a very sensible, gentleman nature, and is quite polite. Unintentional with "breaking hearts", he's just waiting for someone who's worth his time and doesn't throw themselves at him.
Though he may deny it, Raphael may at times have an explosion of irrational behavior when something goes wrong, and finds himself in a very dark, depressive state that. It may take him a while to get there, as at first when something horrible occurs, he lets it roll off his shoulder, but later, he may find himself destroying a room in aggravation, and taking it out on others. He can also frequently act childish and emotional. Raphael may also seem a bit "insane" and obsessed when it comes to competition or when he's after a girl that he cannot have or isn't interested, because this is a big stab at his huge ego.
