This thread got quite a few posts within a week in the last yokai guild, so thought i should bring it back *nods*
And yes i was lazy and couldn't be bothered to write it all out again so i just copied and pasted my previous first post when i first made this club >.< A club for people curious about their future? or maybe you wish to recieve an answer to a certain question? Or do you wish simply to learn the meaning and the tales behind the cards?
Here you can request a tarot reading, or simply ask questions and have a chat. 4laugh  1vyD00dL3 went to town,

Ivy sat at a small square table in the centre of the room, there were a few chairs scattered around, a small desk in the corner of the room, and also an old bookshelf, but other than that the room was pretty much bare. The window shutters were closed and ivy had placed candles around the room as a source of light.
Ivys cloak was draped on the back of her chair, on the small desk in the corner was a teapot and a few cups, and a sugar pot. The bookshelf was packed with books and dust. And the light from the candles spread dark shadows around the small but spaceous room.
Ivy sat there shuffling a deck of cards.

Can never find it. ((Note: these tarot readings are ones i do myself, not ones i make up. They will also be based on your character not you in real life xd Toodles))

Matthew was exploring around when he saw a sign for the tarot reading club. 'I've got nothing to do right now, and this sounds interesting...' Since he was brought up to be nice, he knocked on the door and patiently waited for an answer.

Ivy raised an eyebrow as someone knocked on the door It can't be anyone i know, they would usually just barge in Instead of telling them to come in she instead got up and silently walked across the room towards the door. She opened wondering who or what was on the other side, Ivy couldn't sense anything, therefore it had to be something living. Maybe a witch or werewolf? Ivy hoped it wasn't a witch, as then she would be force to act nice.
When the door was fully opened, she looked out and smiled a welcome.

Matthew stood and was thinking about things, as usual. 'I hope the person is nice...' When the door opened, he said, "Hi, I'm Matthew. I saw the sign for this and I have a question." He remembered to smile, knowing his manners.

Ivys eyes slightly lit up when she saw who it was not a witch She moved away from the door, allowing room for him to enter. Then walked to the other side of the room, towards the desk where her teapot was. "A question?" she asked curiously "What sort of question?"

Matthew walked in when she moved away, and looked around the room, being more curious than usual. He eventually stopped looking to answer her question. "It's a question about the tarot cards, what do they mean?"

Ivy glance backwards at him, then began pouring a cup of tea. "It depends" She thought for a moment "Each card means something different, but some have there similaritys. And yet some of the card meanings change when accompanied by another." She turned around holding a cup in her hands, she then walked back to her table. Setting the cup down as she sat. "The cards are sometimes able to predict your past, present, near or distance future. And sometimes they pick up your traits and personality." She gave a slight smile "Or the personality one hides."

When she said or the personality one hides, it unnerved Matthew slightly. 'What does she mean by that?' The slight smile didn't help though. "I'd like to see if it can really predict the past." His gaze wandered across the room again while he said that.

Ivy smiled slightly once again and then indicated the seat opposite her. Her cards were already in a pile on the table, she didn't pick them up to shuffle. Instead she picked 3 cards from the top of the pack and laid them in front of her. "Is the past all you want to know?" she asked, to clarify.

Matthew didn't like the way she was smiling, but it was rude to suddenly say he had to go, so he sat on the seat. He looked curiously when she placed 3 cards in front of her. "For now, yes." He said, staring at the 3 cards.

Rain's ears twithed slightly as he knocked on the door of Ivy. He could clearly hear wht ws going on in there and he didn't want to be rude by interrupting them. So he waited.

"Cooooome in" She said whilst she turned over the first card. The image on the card was reversed. It was of a man, wearing a cloak. He carried with him a lanturn and a wooden staff. "This is the hermit. It signifies impatience and lonliness, It may also signify a man with a fear of darkness, therefore his footsteps are all placed with care" Ivy paused for a moment "he is also one who spends his life looking back at his past" She slightly smiled again then turned over the second card, it was the right way up. It was an image of a young male holding a sword. Which pretty much spoke for itself. She then turned over the last and final card. It was an image of five cups "This signifies sorrow. Emotional hurt and feeling of worthlessness. Im guessing you went through something that left you confused and lost or trapped, but you found your way through the grim darkness, but still look back and feel the sorrow that was created." ((Sorry i took so long XD i misplaced my cards :3))

Matthew stared at the cards, the meanings were so true. His eyes were now with sorrow as he thought about the past again. He gave out a sigh and closed his eyes, there was only one thing that was wrong, he felt like he hasn't found his way through yet, like there was something else that would happen soon. He opened his eyes again, looked at the girl and said, "Thank you. Also sorry, I never asked for your name when I said mine. What's your name?" His eyes still had some sorrow in it.

Rain slowly walked in and looked around. "Hello." he said softly as he moved forward. He looked st Matthew and nodded slightly, his ears twitching once more.

Ivy picked up all three of the cards and returned them to the deck. She shuffled them whilst he seemed to be withdrawn. "My names Ivy" She said as she stood and smiled a greeting at the newcomer.
