what movie have you seen, that was so bad, that you have to ask yourself how the director or perhaps any of the actors got the job? what was bad about this(or these) movie(s)?
off the top of my head, I can say Nick and Norah's infinite playlist is the worst I have seen. the only reason I went was because my girlfriend at the time wanted to see it.
specifically I can not stand Micheal Cera at all, reason being he is a type cast actor, as in he plays the same damn role in every movie all the time(not entirley true, but generally speaking I have always seen him play the wimpy kid) I feel he's cutting himself short, I mean he was good in superbad, and I havent seen scott pilgrim, but I can assume he was also pretty good in that one as well.
also, the movie spanned over a single night party hopping with the indie chick ignoring the popular girl with what I assumed was either the seriously effeminate male friend, or gay friend(who looked like a seriously annoying whiny person) that's not how you deal with a problem. and the popular girl trying to take nick away just to piss off the indie chick, that not only makes her a slut, but a b***h, that's not cool to do.

It's hard to pick just one. Here's a few that come to mind right away.
The Human Centipede. Don't see it. It has terrible acting, horribly dumb characters, and a human centipede connected a** to mouth that cries and cries and cries for a good hour...
House of the Dead. It's by Uwe Boll. What else do I need to say?
Ankle Biters. Midget biker vampires. Awful everything. Acting, directing, sound, script, everything. It wasn't dumb enough to laugh at it.

Griffin3 http://www.gaiaonline.com/guilds/viewtopic.php?t=21067443 I saw 2012 somewhere in loading and didn't need to let it finish, the whole concept was head desk retarded. @ The Bijoux: the human centipede was gonna be a bad film regardless, but I think some may find it good just because its so out there with the idea....still, cant make up for bad acting. 3nodding

I rented it because the idea sounded interesting. After a few days of thinking about it I decided that it has no redeeming qualities.

I really hate Napoleon Dynamite. Such a stupid movie. I can't seem to allow myself to like any part of it because it's so, so pointless. It's like the first movie that comes to mind when I'm asked what my least favorite movie is, because it's the only movie I've taken the time to actively hate.
Other disliked movies: All the parts of Tropic Thunder that don't have Robert Downey Jr. in them, Watchmen (too hard to follow, especially since the acting is so awkward...plus, giant blue p***s), and, speaking of blue people, James Cameron's Avatar is also completely overrated and lame.

Where to begin...
Outbreak on a Plane - Okay, with a title like that you -have- to expect a terrible movie, but it was hilariously bad, so it redeemed itself. Terribly unbelievable acting, very questionable scenes (Someone gets pulled through a mirror. In an AIRPLANE BATHROOM,) and laughable survival circumstances make it a movie that's terrible if you take it seriously, but awesome if you love watching that kind of stuff.
The Village - For such a worshiped and positively acclaimed movie, I found it really...bland. The ideas presented on the village's management are interesting, but it's a movie where absolutely nothing interesting happens. Like most of Shama-mala-mon's movies.
The Happening - I really don't want to explain this one. Such a huge and terrible disappointment. Not only is it bland, but it's really poorly written drag with a mediocre soundtrack and acting that really seemed like the actors were struggling with a "...really? I have to do that? I guess I can try..." attitude. (Think back to the rip in the car of the mathematician's car, and how he kinda looks around.) The ideas presented in it are very weakly argued, the characters are largely unbelievable, and there's a creepy old woman that has absolutely no reason to act creepy at all.
Love Guru - I miss Austin Powers... This was just a painful reminder that there isn't a new one yet.
Shrek 4 - I was forced to see this because of a birthday. Gotta say, I think Shrek 2 was -probably- the best time to stop. Predictable story (I hate being a parent, it's too hard I wish I was young...oh wait now I understand I loved being a parent, gotta fight my way back...) and jokes that were mostly ruined by the trailer.
Aliens Vs. Predators 2 - Eurgh. This movie was a train wreck. Hardly any scary moments that weren't *JUMP OUT* or predictable, a lot of forced "that's just terrible!" moments, ONE major fight, and overall unbelievable writing. ("The government wants us all to go into the giant center of town during an unpredicted and uncontainable alien attack! THEY MUST BE SAVING US!") I was really looking forward to it too, but like the Aliens Vs. Predator game remake, it was all looks and nothing else.
Spiderman 3 - Why. Why, oh -why-, did this movie have to be made. Spiderman 1 and 2 were enough. They were great. But the third one was completely pointless, terribly written, and overall just...just...stupid. Spiderman turns into a ninny-whiny boy who betrays everyone because the suit apparently makes him an asshat, then you find out (through some very obscure and hashed writing,) that the first two movies were entirely wrong, and that Spiderman's dad happened to die near this other "good-hearted" guy, who just HAPPENS to stumble into a testing experiement that SOMEHOW makes him the SUPER SAND MAN... I mean, the story was entirely pointless. Unneeded. It only existed because they wanted more money. It ruined the story, and as far as I'm concerned it didn't actually happen.
Good Luck Chuck - I should have expected this movie to be terrible, (movies starring Dane Cook aren't exactly masterpieces,) but really it was just one terrible sexual joke after another, with a facepalm-able sequence of "Guy loves girl, outward circumstance of guy worries him enough to scare girl away, guy realizes outward circumstance doesn't matter, guy wins girl and outward circumstance doesn't matter". And the unrated version was worse; it was essentially a porno of Dane Cook screaming "I DO HAVE SEX GUYS, THIS IS PROOF". ...Much like all of Dane Cook's stand up.
Starship Troopers 2 - While the first movie was a brilliant combination of hilarious satire and gore-y action, the second one was just terrible. Largely bland, predictable and stupid; the aliens seem fit to attack the humans with parasites. How? By gratuitous amounts of buttsex and tits n' a**. That's pretty much all the movie was. That, and pretty much everyone is taken over through unbelievable circumstances. (I'm on a computer in an empty room where I pretty much can't be surprised. Oh look what's that OH GOD UNDER ME SOMEHOW UNDER MEEE)
There are more than this, but this is what immediately comes to mind.

Anywho, bad movies.. well, the first that come to mind are:
The Human Centipede: UGHH. Sure, the idea may be orginal, but it was still aweful. So was the acting (except the Doctor, he was alright).
The Last Airbender: I STILL can't believe it. The acting was aweful.. just so aweful. It made The Happening seem decent. And the really sad thing is that we can only blame Shyamalan -- (I think) he directed it, produced it, and even wrote it.

I'm just saying I've never seen a movie that had LESS happen in it. Except for Buried, but that's a movie that takes place inside a box, so that's to be expected. @The Last Airbender I understand all the hate generated towards this movie, but saying it was worse than the Happening? Nah. And as for the acting in the movie, it's a movie LOOSELY based off of a cartoon series. It could be worse. It could be that Dragon Ball Z movie. *Shudder*

I cant decide between Quarantine, The Happening, Lord of War, Blair Witch Project, The Craft, Blade: Trinity, Boogeyman, Son of the Mask, or Alone in the Dark.
But one of those is the worst I've seen, unless I'm forgetting one(which I'm sure that I am).

Man that movie was awful. It was the most boring piece of crap I have ever seen. Also The Hurt Locker I thought was awful and you don't care about any characters or understand what they are thinking the entire movie. And nothing really happens. It's just like a few days in the life of bomb diffusers. So yeah they diffuse bombs and it takes them 15-20 minutes to do it and then the rest of the movie is them drinking and complaining about each other and doing rescue missions that turned out to be a waste of time.

So many awful movies. Some of my least favorites include: Battlefield Earth, Supernova, The Machinist, Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey, and Forces of Nature (There are others, but these are the ones that immediately come to mind)
But thee worst movie ever? Manos Hand of Fate Even when on Mystery Science Theater 3000 it was unbearable. Horrendous and should not be watched by anyone.
Honorable mention to The Room A movie that is so bad, it's actually funny, if only by a slim margin. I sometimes wonder if the film maker really thought he was making a masterpiece like some say, or if he was intentionally making it bad so people would laugh at it.

Napoleon Dynamite is truly terrible as was Superbad Children of Men was way too slow I couldn't even finish it. Same with I am Legend. Overrated movies honestly. Minus Children of Men because that's not that well known.
