What's your favorite race in the Elder Scrolls series and why? It can be either a playable race or some weird race that we see in the games but don't get to play.

My favorite race is the Dunmer, and more specifically House Telvanni, nearly all my characters in my TES career have been some from of magicka users. Why do I like the Dunmer so much> Well my heart belongs to Morrowind as it was the first game that I played. I spent many a hour getting lost and having fun on the island of Vvardnefell. There was just something exotic and foreign looking about Morrowind that I hadn't seen in other fantasy RPG's.
Was moved to Lore since it's its not specific to one game, and I want to keep the lobby for just major guild threads.

I'd have to say my favorite race is Breton, only because that's mostly what I play. They're quite versatile, if you know how to manage your stats every level.

My favorite race is as I think I've already stated, Bosmer. I have a strange thing with playing short characters - I dunno. Anyway, the Bosmer are great archers and rather perfect for stealth characters, which I excel at. So we're a good match.
I also happen to like the Ayleid though I can't really explain why. They just interest me :3

I like Orcs 'cause they're green, they kick a**, and their armor looks like samurai armor. biggrin

I couldn't really pick a favorite race, though I prefer Argonians and Khajjit.

I want a game to take place in the Black Marsh.

I'm all for having a each game take place in each of the Provinces, but there is one problem with Black Marsh. It's that there are areas that are so toxic that only Argonians can travel there.

The dark elf would me my favorite. In morrowind I was a Dark elf of house Hlaalu whose name was Traglar. Never again shall I see my favorite character wander Vvardnefell. The character was on my friends X-box and I can no longer access him on my 360 is sad crying .

Meh favorite, though I consistently misspelling their name, are Khajjit! They are just so fluffy and can see in the dark. The biggest reason I like em' is cause most races look down on them. That and the skooma is fun to drink. X3

The Kahjit (Misspell prehaps) and Imperial. The Kahjit cause they make the best stealth characters I've seen, and Imperial for the Rping part of the game. Voice of the Emperor saved me from spending gold on everyone liking me.

I would have to say Bosmer for me. Cause my first character in any Elder Scrolls game was my Bosmer in Morrowind. I always had a thing for Robin Hood and the Bow and Arrow, so i picked them so I could hit things easier with the bow, and I just kinda fell in love from there. I would also say im very interested in Ayleid. Their culture is just so amazing

I suppose my favorite race to play is Altmer. Pure, unadulterated, unstoppable magic power.
Plus, I like to be tall! xp
That being said, they aren't my favorite race. My favorite race has got to be the mighty Dwemer! I have been absolutely fascinated with them since I first stepped foot in Arkngthand. Geothermal power, inhuman enchantments, robots, and giant walking ballistae! Not to mention Anumidium! AND it's all fantasy Steampunk! whee
