Words do not describe my utter love for this episode. Some parts made me absolutely cringe, other parts made me scream with joy. The whole thing was absolutely fantastic and I adored it.
Now I just want to know what it is that Cas is doing that's so terrible. I know that he's in a bad place right now, and I know that it has something to do with the souls, but the guy's drowning in his need to win this. It's him or Raph and I think we all know who we would want to win at the end of it all. Hopefully the answers are coming soon.
Also, there goes my worry that Rachel would become Castiel's romantic interest, dead in about 15 minutes. Fabulous.

Not sure how far you came in on but okay:
So that angel Rachel found out about whatever it is Cas is hiding-- the whole shady secret business with the souls. She basically reprimanded him and said it had to stop. Then she said she wouldn't allow it to happen and pulled out her sword and Cas defended himself and killed her, but not before she stabbed him with her blade leaving a grace seeping hole. gonk

She actually was a pretty worthless character. More like plot device to (A) add suspense by making make Cas weakened and have to do grope Bobby's soul to get the boys back and (B) for mystery... more alluding to Cas dirty little secret.
Otherwise yea she wasnt needed. lol
