Omgosh this episode was so fantastic and amazing..I think I'm watching it again. This could definitely be my favorite episode of the season.
I don't even really know how to start to review!
Guess I'll start with the little things and work up:
❖ I love the use of actual real life pictures of the boys and real magazine shots,and then the clip from Days of Our Lives rofl Brilliant.
❖ I was wondering if they were gonna be "filming" a fake episode or a past episode for this eppy. Haha but it was sorta mind binding...that in the alt. universe they were filming the same exact episode, "The French Mistake," though it was stuff that hadn't actually happened yet. lol I was almost thinking maybe the script was a clue or something.
❖ It's funny how in that universe Jensen and Jared don't even get along. haha, that's sad. And obviously Jared is getting paid more. That house was huge and extravagant..it looked like a museum. And um..an alpaca? Wow really? eek
❖ LOLOL the parts when GC were so funny Dean trying to wrap his head around the fact that in this world he married "Ruby."
I think Sam was starting to actually like her though. wink
❖ It's so awesome they featured all the writers and producers from the actual show. (heh and even a fictional version of the boy's bodyguard.) LOL love the crack Sera made at her own self. They're like no offense, you're new and all. Let's fly in Kripke instead. LOLZ *facepalm*
❖ ROFLOLZ The boys acting was sooooooo horrible. I laughed so hard at that part..that was pathetically hilarious. rofl rofl rofl Dean's weird faces...Sam failing at not looking at the camera...I thought I'd never stop laughing.
❖LOL @ Bob Singer thinking they were on an acid trip the whole time . I cant really blame him.. rofl
❖ Misha was adorable. Him tweeting to Mishamigos. 4laugh The confusion when they first think he's Cas and he thinks they are running lines is hilarious. I kept giggling at his Cas voice though because it sounded too weird and overly deep or something . lol I see the difference between that Misha's acting and the real one's is the the Meta!Misha over dramatizes Castiel.
❖ I was like NOOOOO when Virgil killed Misha to make a call. crying It's so surreal...Misha (cough* AKA"the attractive crying guy") got killed off on Supernatural... heck Kripke and Bob Singer got killed off on supernatural. And even though it was tragic they did in in such a way that you had to laugh..I mean the weird Western music duringthe shoot out at Set. Bob and Kripke being happy that at least they got more publicity out of his death. And the boys coming in and GC's crying "misha's been stabbed to death" and all they reply is "WHERE!?" and she's like "where?? confused "
I feel bad for laughing but at least it was fake reality. sweatdrop
❖ Virgil was scary man... but it was so much fun watching Dean and Sam beat him up! I mean that had to be the best perk from that reality for them. hahah Too bad Raph didnt step through twisted Speaking of which--
❖ mwaaa okay it's so weird Raph's a woman now..just really.. I knew Dean was gonna make a crack about that. That was too good to pass up. At least the vessel wasn't wearing a dress or something. wink
❖  OMIGOD! I flipped out! We got to see the Cas do the whole awesome wing shadow thing-- AGAIN! I absolutely luved that! I never thought we'd get to see that again! That was amazing! Wohoo. And Cas owned!
❖ Okay so that was the twist...the whole thing was a plan between Balty and Cas so Cas could get the weapons of heaven.
Wow boys you've been played, but I guess it was for the good of the world. Heh I can see why they aren't happy though.
Cas really needs to let them in on what's going on with the war. Well I'm glad everyone (in their reality at least) made it out ok... and even Balthy! XD

I have no words for how much I adored this episode! Really, I think it's going to be my favourite episode for a long time.
Had a friend over so we stayed up late and watched a live broadcast of it at 2am our time. Huge fun was had by both of us.
Too many things that I loved about this episode to actually post down. I cried when they killed 'Misha' and then laughed the next scene because it was such a boys reaction.
Also, while the episode was airing #MetaMadness, Kripke and Misha trended in the States and worldwide. In the space of an HOUR! This shows what this crazy fandom can do when we really put our minds to it.

It was only the first one last night but I checked back now and he added the second one. lol

Loved the ep. Was hoping for a little more, but it was a great treat for us loyal fans who know all the little details that made the episode so great.
Now, onto the serious stuff this ep brings up. Did anyone notice the name Virgil? Dante's guide through Purgatory and Hell? They eventually get to Lucifer, chomping on three famous figures who back stabbed their benefactors.
Now, Cas and Balty just back stabbed the boys in order to get the weapons of Heaven... I fear that this does not bode well for our favorite pretty boy angels. gonk

lolol you know I was thinking that too.
I mean if they dont really understand everything behind the show, the producers and the lives of the actors, all the little inside jokes would pass over their heads and they'd just be deeply confused. haha like "what was that?!" rofl

Okay let me analyze this:
There's Dean -- who was making all the odd crazy staring faces , talking in the bizarre raspy voice, and blatantly trying to avoid his marks
Then there's Sam-- fidgeting in the background, mumbling and going on an on... going completely off script, and trying too hard to not stare at the camera...

Good lord, it's so tough. Part of me wants to say Sam though, because he was such a dork in the backround xd
