OK for most of this ep ( mainly the flashbacks and the parts about the woman and Roy) I was bored senseless. I don't know, I just wasn't engaged enough to care. At least the flashbacks were kept to a minimum though, thank Chuck.
Whatever, a pretty meh episode *shrug*

Okay so I dont really have much to comment on this eppy (since it wasnt that eventful) except a few things.

★ It made me hate Robo!Sam anymore. I mean he shot everyone without even trying to save them. Beat the poor deputy to a pulp. An banged every brunette in a mile radius.... wow.
And Granda didnt try to step in anytime. Way to go.
Anyways like Punky said, at least there weren't as many flashbacks as I had thought.

★ You know from the very beginning I figured the Arachnid wanted to lay eggs or something. So I thought maybe Sam was gonna shoot everyone because they had eggs inside them already but then he mentioned the venom thing and threw me off. But then it turns out she wanted to mate which made more sense I suppose. I did want to see a giant spider thing but oh well. It was creepy enough. Roy's face... *shudders*

★ Okay Sam I know you want to make things right but you really should have listened to your brother. scream Now look what he did, he drudged up all those memories and he went into some kind of seizure which I totally wasn't expecting to happen. gonk Well I'm guessing he got over it since he's walking around fine for the next episode, but now I'm worried. He didnt make anything right he made things worst.

Yet another episode of the "great idea, not-so-great delivery" caliber. How has this show not earned a big enough budget to allow a decent monster?? D8
I think I liked the monster eyes though... They were different.

I actually really enjoyed this episode. I mean, it was pretty meh for a Supernatural episode, but that still puts it a LOT higher than most TV shows out there.

As fun as it would have been to see a spider creature that was actually... spidery, I do understand why they kept it humany for plot reasons. I mean, if Roy just turned into a giant spider, then how would his wife recognize him? (And how would he monologue to us? Villain's gotta monologue.)

I loved the dynamic between Sam and Dean in this episode. They're back to their brotherly love and affection and back to Dean trying to look out for his little brother, but it's also different in that Dean really is actually listening to Sam and showing a lot more respect for him as an adult. It's the relationship we've been wanting for a really long time, and the relationship they were just starting to form right before Sam jumped in the hole.

The only other thing I have to say is, Poor Sammy! I hate it when he seizes, even when it's kind of his own fault (ie scratching the wall and demon blood withdrawal). But yeah. Like y'all have said, he seems fine in the promos for next week, so apparently they figure it out. *shrug*
